"ladies..." with grace and poise in tone, a soft feminine voice called upon the assistance of her female companions, "...assemble, disarming voice." from behind the delibird and pinkette did a woman come to pass the duo by. flowing hair followed in her wake with a signature red ribbon casually seen tied to a strand of hair upon the side. the female adorned a drop shoulder turtleneck sweater dress, colored blue, with a black belt around her abdomen. thigh-high winter boots were worn for footwear. a backpack in tow and warm, blue earmuffs were the following accessories she possessed upon her person.

an order issued, a harmonious tune was converged together between primarina and milotic. a fairy-based sound disrupting the mightyena's eardrums as the female duo stood beside their mistress. "if you wish to fight, we'll gladly be your opponent." it was good practice, after all. it had been awhile since she was in anything action-oriented, so this was quite the thrill for the songstress. the mightyena, weary of being hit with another distasteful fairy cry, decided to seek their prey elsewhere.

"phew..." the woman began to shiver. "that was so scary, i thought they were going to continue their assault." turning to face the pinkette and the delibird, she'd come to ask the female trainer, "are you and your pokemon, alright?" she'd run over to grab the palm of her hands. with milotic and primarina at her side, she'd say, "it's a good thing we were here. what on earth are you doing up here on your own in this place?"

an eevee emerged, it would serve as her next target. "here we go!" another ball was thrown. the eevee was met with a hit to the forehead, absorbing the normal-type. another capture was successfully made without a problem. picking up the eevee's ball she'd wear a smile upon her face, sayng, "another successful capture, nice. this is actually fun!" evelyn giggled.

a halter dress, black, had been worn for tonight's event; though what of footwear? simple ankle strapped heels that matched, in color, her dress. a wallet purse, too, could be seen in her left hand. invited out by thomas to spend the evening with, evelyn couldn't turn down his offer. it made her smile to know he was wanting to spend time with the songstress. his place of choice? a karaoke bar. it was unexpected, she hadn't the slightest idea that "singing", of all things, would be one of thomas' interests.

it made her wonder though, did he choose this place because it served as an interest or for her? either way, they were here. once they settled into the bar. she would make her way to table specifically for the duo. upon taking her seat, she'd say, "its been awhile since i've been out like this!" a chuckle was lightly heard.

looking toward the stage, she would come to see a couple performing together. "oh wow, haha! how romantic!" evelyn commented, turning toward thomas, she'd continue, "i didn't peg you for the type to enjoy these places. looks like i've learned a neat little secret about you." taking a peek at the menu before them. she wasn't exactly sure what to order and that was easily seen on her face.

hiding behind a tree. she'd peek to only toss a safari ball the next. the ball would tap the meowstic upon the head only to ensnare it. there was no shaking, no defiance. it was fair game in the safari zone. once a pokemon was caught they'd accept it. they knew the rules. "how easy and so simple!" a surprised evelyn commented. picking the ball up she'd continue the hunt.

with fernando being the leading man and she the guided woman. evelyn would smile upon hearing that he saw her recent performance. "to think you have the time to see any of my performances. you really know how to spoil a girl, big brother." on the avenue there was an ice cream vendor selling frosty treats. "wow, spring's only just begun and they're already handing out ice cream!" it'd been awhile since she had something cold and sweet.

"i'll take a strawberry and vanilla scoop, please!" she asked of the vendor's owner. with her scoop being given to her, she'd turn to her brother. "the weather here is so nice," a lick was taken, "i can see why cait chose this city. the flowers here are beautiful." flowers were seen blooming on the sidewalk and in the trees. just a few feet away she'd point toward a magnolia tree, "look! how pretty!" enamored by one of many early spring blooming trees. evelyn was excited to witness more of the floral settings found within mauville.

"you know, one of the things i enjoy most about spring is how symbolic it is." turning toward fernando, she'd say, "even when a flower's wilted away, we shouldn't be sad about what the beauty that was lost." for it can always be regained, "spring will come when the snow melts away." taking another lick from her ice cream, she'd continue, "so just because something was lost doesn't mean it can't be regained. for instance, like a life, though that life is gone you'll always have memories. be they pokemon or human, as long as one person remembers you your life will always be celebrated."

what evelyn spoke may have sounded a little crazy, but that's just what the season of spring made her think. "as silly as it may sound, it's kinda like that in a sense. just because you may have lost something doesn't mean it's gone for good." a hand was placed upon his shoulder, "you'll get him back."

"big brother!" a quick turn upon the heel. evelyn ran to her brother's side with a smile to greet him. hands were folded in front of her as her lips softly curved, "i was afraid you wouldn't make it. i've heard a lots happened since i've been away." a slight head tilt, she'd lean slightly to ask, "are you okay?"

straightening her posture a hand was gently placed upon the center of her chest, "you can vent to me. it never hurts to get whatever's on your mind out of that noggin." hair was brushed behind her right ear before she continued. "besides, even if you don't want to talk about--or if you do--it we have quite the sightseeing to do!" poking his chest with her index finger, she'd add, "with you acting as my tour guide, chuckling, she'd add, "be sure to show me the best spots, councilman silph~" a soft coo was uttered at the end of her playful statement.

her first time entering the safari zone and she wasn't sure how to react. a place where pokemon weren't allowed other than those already inside? an interesting concept. she was excited to see how this experience would fair on her own.

a lace floral dress was donned for today's attire. her hair was straightened and letdown, a casual style she's normally seen in; a light red ribbon could be seen tied upon the side of her head. for footwear one could see that the songstress was wearing ankle strapped heels.

she'd been waiting at the entrance to mauville city for her tour guide to show: FERNANDO SILPH. mauville city was a place she'd never been to, or rather never had the chance to truly visit. this wasn't her first time being here, for there were moments she needed to be within the city. evelyn just never had the chance to actually visit the botanical home of none other than cait alfric.

with spring arriving, it was time for some quality time together. her touring has settled down, thus allowing for the songbird to find time to spend with family. after hearing about what happened at the recent festival, evelyn thought that this would be a good time for fernando to find some peace of mind. "it'd be no surprise if he'd forgotten," evelyn spoke aloud, "though to stand me up would actually be a surprise. i've been gone for so long i doubt he could resist coming to see me." a light titter was uttered.

it'd been sometime since her last visit. remembering what occurred, evelyn still thought that it was all a dream. she couldn't get the pokemon out of her head. its beauty, it was like a something out of a fairy tale. evelyn never got to meet the pokemon.

thankfully, evelyn's busy schedule from touring and live performances has settled down. after paying her brother, FERNANDO SILPH, a vist, she's found sometime to finally come and meet the pokemon. thinking about it maybe she should've told FERNANDO SILPH about what happened back then. it slipped her mind with so much happening. either way, what has passed is past.

she wondered how the pokemon was doing, and what of the curator? evelyn stood outside of the museum wearing a 50s mesh yoke flounce sleeve dress. a step was taken in black suede peep-toe booties, heels clicking upon each step. her hair, letdown, flowed as a soft breeze blew. a ribbon could be seen neatly tied upon the side of her hair. she donned a light purse containing her respective pokemon within them.

entering the building, she'd say, "hello?" the place seemed empty, so empty that one would think it was closed. "how quiet..." she thought aloud. then again it was nearly closing time. "perhaps i should've came a bit earlier..." a finger was pressed against her cheek upon entering an analytical state.

"for the long-haul, huh? i can't wait to see you in action then, haha." a chuckle was given. she'd look toward where the pokemon ran off. "i hope they won't ever try this again. i don't exactly enjoy fighting pokemon that way." lids were narrowed as she fell into a deep thought, "i want to resolve issues like this without hurting the wild." then again, pokemon were no different from humans. their actions, though unjust, were just a form of giving in to their instincts. "maybe someday i'll find a way, but for now i'll just have to settle on trying my best not to hurt them too much!"

"and that's that." returning to thomas's side, she'd say, "thank you for the help! i'm sure the wooloo's can sleep safe and sound knowing they're alright." it'd been forever since she'd done something like this. "it feels nice being able to help pokemon again." she softly stated, a heartwarming smile worn.

a hand placed over her chest, she'd continue, "are you planning to head back to the gym anytime soon?" she asked with curiosity. "i don't think they're absolutely gone just yet. if you could, it'd be nice if you stayed for just a little bit longer." she had doubts their job was done, but both of them didn't need to exactly stay. the company was simply welcomed.
