A series of distant red flashes went off, and moments later there were an untold number of green shapes wizzing in their direction. Memo yelped and directed Nike down, dodging out of the way of a swinging Scyther blade just in time.

Unfortunately, it seemed Alex was not going to be swayed by Memo’s paltry platitudes, and only managed to maneuver them so the smaller man was poised on top as a sort of meat-shield against the phantoms in the AC unit.

The woman is a journalist who wants to travel to a remote Kalosian village where a string of Unovan backpackers have all up and vanished. Her boss wants her to cover something boring and pedestrian.
