It was rather anticlimactic, the way they all landed on the moon and nothing terrible happened. Memo still had too much anxiety to trust that everything was okay.

At first, he thought the strange rocky formation was just that-- a piece of mountain, maybe dislodged by time or weathering, having rolled down the mountain and settled here.

But then it moved.

Memo jumped back with a babble of shocked Paldean, and Coqui froze.

All three creatures stared at each other in silence for a moment.

Then, Memo’s training instincts kicked in. “Coqui, hypnosis.”

The frog gave a ribbit of affirmation and waved his little hands, conjuring waves of hypnosis that floated up and over the… big… thing. It wobbled one way, then the other, then threatened to tip over, but Memo threw a Pokeball before it could hit the ground.
