Rory was far from becoming one of Rocket's most loyal supporters. The people here were far too rude for her liking, and their actions were...often questionable compared to the diligence of her equally bloodstained brother (@calhoun).

But, at the very least, she couldn't deny the enjoyment the work provided her. She wants exactly creating the turbines she had imagined, but what she WAS inventing and tinkering with was at a higher caliber than what she was often used to back at Slateport.

Challenging designs with the oddest if quirks hidden with their blue prints-- they made even the duller days more exciting than she had originally hoped. Today was no different.

As she had a pocket of time to spare, she was stowed away in one of the various labs the facility had to offer. Hunched over a table, she was giving a schematic a sharp glare when she heard the click of the door open.

The easy smile was initially preparing to use to greet the individual was interrupted mid way into it's creation, as the identity of said individual was revealed be no other than Valley himself.

Turning, she looked back down at the table, doesn't her best to hide away the splash of red that now ran down her cheeks. "Mhm..."

Failure.

She was a failure.

First, the bees got out. Then, they got angry. Now they're furious and trying to rip her to shreds, all before ravaging the nearby unsuspecting town.

Tears dotted the corner of her eyes as she sniffled into the plush grass below, accepting her ensured demise. Death by a thousand stings-- a fitting death for a poet.

End scene....unless?

"get up. you gotta move, rory!"

The familiar voice tied to a rough shake was enough to return the woman back to reality. Wide, doleful eyes turned back at him.

"Fenris... I-I messed up," She whimpered. With the grace of a newborn deer, the woman rose to her feet, following her friend's ushering her towards the baseline of the nearby trees. Her hands gripped at his arm. "I was just trying to make honey..."

She wanted to. More than anything else, she wanted to cry out for Callie back then, and feel the strength of her arms around her. But, whenever she picked up the phone, the shame and embarrassment made it all to hard to finish dialing.

Soleil's gaze fell to the floor. The radiance of her old self, the person Callie has grown to know, was all but snuffed out.

"I didn't want you to see me like this..."

Living with Ann had been absolutely finger lickin' good for the past year and two quarters. First off, rent had become MUCH more manageable, and with the way things were heading, she needed that more than anything else. Second, since she was able to live outside of Slateport, she wasn't forced to see @calhoun 's annoyingly lovable face. Rory adored her family, but the distance was sometimes a requirement for survival. But, the most important bonus attached to their living situation was having a consistent ear to yammer off to.

"Annnnnnnn." Hurried footsteps could be heard pounding up the stairs of their flat. One by one, each thud grew in strength, as did the voice that accompanied it. "You busy???"

She softly rapped at the door.

This bright summer day started off rather peaceful. The skies were humming with the sound of fluttering wings, and a light breeze could be felt nipping at her cheeks. It was so tranquil, in fact, that Rory had the splendid idea of expanding her horizons.

If you fill your days with new exciting hobbies, you'll never grow bored, is what she thought to herself. And, while she was able to shoo away the dullness of mundanity, she found something far worse creeping up from the shadows: absolute mayhem.

"FEN FEN FEN FEN CODE RED," She squeaked into the phone, hear heart thrumming loud enough to be picked up from the mic. From the other end, the man would hear the harsh vibration of buzzing, the occasional screech from Rory, and the sound of rapid, unrhythmic breathing. "COME NOW, PLEASE!"


Whenever he would arrive, he would come to find a single Rory, swallowed up by a beekeeper outfit, lying face down on the ground.
