The only thing that Andraste could do was remind herself to breathe. The sudden shifting of the world around them; the buildings, the environment... And some of their Pokemon. It was enough to make anyone dizzy. Had Andraste not had all of the military training under her belt, she might have become a wilted flower, unsure of what to do next.

Gael reverting to a previous form... That was the most troubling part, and instead of leaving the Metang out there, she recalled it back to it's Pokeball. One, two, breathe. One, two, breathe. Focus. It was a good thing that Thomas was keeping an eye on her, and she noted his quick thinking with his Hydreigon. She took the chance and climbed up behind him on the Pokemon's back, running through what Pokemon she had left that could do any sort of damage...

Releasing Ena from her ball, the Espeon settled in close to Andraste on the dragons back. Thomas himself was priming an attack with his gun, and the woman did the same. She primed her rifle, pointed it at Quanto, and fired a single shot with a skilled hand. At the same time, she ordered Ena: "Use Psychic on the man."

Without skipping a beat, the Espeon lobbed the Psychic attack at Quanto as well...

She felt cold and hot all at once. Cold with the loss, but hot with the mounting anger that wouldn't let her go. Rage. Grief. Absolute fury at Elisabeth Fiorelli for her part in murdering one of her Pokemon. Killing humans was one thing, but Andraste was of the opinion that most Pokemon were blameless. Goron had not deserved to die.

While Thomas Benoit healed one of his Pokemon, Andraste stood beside him, readjusting her gloves. She could only manage a nod to Reaver once he woke. Reaching for a PokeBall, it was Gael that she released once more. "Good to see you up, Reaver," Andraste said, though her tone was tight. Gorons body lay somewhere on the battlefield and now really wasn't the time to break down into tears.

Instead, she focused her attention and energy onto the suddenly mounting threat. All at once it felt like the world was going to shit and the only thing the Seraphim could do was follow Thomas Benoit 's lead. Taking off with her partner, she wasted no time at all. Like Thomas, she chose Diance, Gael moving beside her. "Meteor Mash," Andraste ordered her Metagross. The attack taking the form of a punch encrusted with crystals that was aimed directly at Dialga.

In a moment like this, it was easy to fall out of the phantom persona. Still frozen in silent shock, the woman had to take in slow, even breaths so she didn't scream her mounting rage to the heavens. Another thing that Rocket had taken from her. And not only that, but she knew that voice. It was older now, but the lilt was the same. Just more mature.

Glaring into the pink mist, Andraste didn't move until she caught Thomas' movement at the corner of her eye. She shook her head. "We have work to do," she said, shutting down any attempt by Thomas or Cobalt at trying to soothe her right then. She didn't want soothing. She wanted to watch this world fucking burn to ash. That was it.

Seraphim wasn't paying attention to the banter. She was tense, with her gaze locked on her Pokemon. Shit. This wasn't good. He'd never not obeyed her, but then Goron did have a mean streak when it came to his anger. Of all her Pokemon, he was the most likely to go rogue like this.

Goron was clearly pleased that his body slam connected, but the recoil rattled him. It was only when the Goomy finally turned into a face full of an icy wind that Seraphim had to bite her lip so hard it bled to keep herself from crying out. Tears pricked her eyes and she had to dig her heels into the dirt as her Goomy let out a weak cry and then collapsed under the brutal edges of the ice that had been thrown at him.

She did not look at the Phantom, though she remained utterly silent as Gael forced itself back out of its PokeBall and back onto the field. The Metagross took a protective stance in front of it's master, an old, faint chip in its leg glinting off the moonlight. She was frozen, still trying to process the death of her Pokemon, and Gael was going to stand in the way of any opposition.

Gordon, for his part, was absolutely enraged with the draining kiss. And completely taken aback, made dizzy by the attack. His small squishy body tried to leap away from the Tsareena and Seraphim found herself gritting her teeth behind her mask. Damnit all.

"Come back," she said to the Goomy, who was too enraged by the Tsareena to focus on his master. All of his attacking from this point was provoked only by his growing rage at his leafy opponent. Of his own accord, the Goomy launched into a body slam attack.

She refrained from uttering a curse and didn't look at the Phantom. This was humiliating.

This fucking Tangrowth was pissing her off. In fact, she had always found the creatures creepy as fuck compared to other Pokemon. She'd take a ghost over a Tangrowth any fucking day of the week. Gritting her teeth beneath her mask, the blast between the Tangrowth and the Metagross sent Gael flying backwards, catching it's feet in the ground and gouging large trenches in the dirt.

Making a split second decision, Seraphim recalled her Metagross and tossed out her Shelgon. The smaller creature settled itself before her master and shook herself off as if having been eager to be let out. The fiery rage that clawed at Seraphim's heart had her putting a sneer on her face beneath the mask.

"Your ilk have taken from me. I'm simply returning the favor," she said lightly, sounding, if anything, as bored as one human could behind a voice changer. "Light him up," she said, her gaze flicking to her Shelgon. "Flamethrower," her tone was final, and the Shelgon started to take in a breath and then let the stream of flame loose toward the Tangrowth, or the Rocket. She didn't particularly care who or what happened to either of them.

Seraphim watched the battle in silence, her gaze darting from the Tangrowth to Gael. This was getting far more dicey than she wanted it to be, but she kept her outward calm. Calm. Calm. In fact, she all but if ored Elijah's retort to her words across the field. Instead, she planned her next move, nothing that the Phantom's Weavile wasn't having the easiest of times either. She resisted the urge to flinch when it was thrown backward before it recovered.

Nothing that the Tangrowth was trying to pull Gael back to the ground, her entire body tensed when she realized that it was about to smack Gael with a power whip. At the same time, Seraphim called out, "Meteor mash!" for a second time. The close quarters of the two Pokemon would more than likely ensure that the two hit one another, but the hope was that the Tangrowth would also let go.

Gael reared one of it's legs and started to launch it forward in a sharp meteor mash attack.

Gael appeared annoyed, and Seraphim couldn't blame it. Beneath her mask, her gaze narrowed as she watched the Tangrowth reach out and start to wrap his vines around Gael's legs. "Magnet rise," she called sharply, her voice changer thankfully masking her irritation enough in the moment.

Taking the order immediately, Gael used manget rise and started to levitate off the ground, aiming to pull the Tangrowth somewhat into the air with it. Electricity crackled beneath Gael and Seraphim glanced at the Phantom with a bit of a sneer beneath her mask. Then her gaze flicked back to Elijah. "Ever heard the phrase, 'guilty by association?" she asked behind the safety of her mask as the Metagross continued to rise.

The hit landed on the Aromatisse, but their opponent was quick to recall the Pokemon. Instead, a Tsareena took it's place and hit her Metagross back with the payback. Gritting her teeth below the mask, Seraphim let her gaze narrow on their opponent. She had nothing to say to the woman, finding words a true waste right about now.

Instead, she recalled her Metagross and tossed out her Goomy, who launched straight into a muddy water attack that aimed to drench all three of their opponents at once. Keeping her attention forward, Seraphim rubbed the fingers of her gloves together, sparks arching between her fingers while she watched, unused to remaining still while in battle...

In the aftermath of their battle with elijah gardner , the Seraphim and the Phantom found a short reprieve, continuing their anti-Rocket onslaught. Her steps were light and her mind remained focused on the task at hand.

It was she who spotted the lone Rocket seeming to need a moment to recoup, which Seraphim was intent on not giving her if she could. Cobalt seemed to notice too, and she smirked beneath her mask. "Flash cannon," Seraphim ordered her Metagross toward the Aromatisse, who also stepped over the toxic spikes like they were nothing.

Seraphim did not lower her rifle, her gaze remaining staunchly upon their opponent. Both of his Pokemon were on the field and she took a split second to assess them. The Phantom seemed to do the same, and Seraphim silently tracked his Pokemon, nothing it's trajectory toward the Gothitelle.

That left her the Tangrowth, which she was perfectly fine with.

The woman wasn't going to delay. Her goal was to make relatively quick work of things so that they could move on. Efficiency was key in his moment.

Glancing only once toward her Metagross, she nodded sharply. "Meteor mash," she ordered, and her Metagross shot forward sharply, already on a path to try and strike the Tangrowth.

Seraphim had spent a majority of her time working on cutting down the smaller ilk of Rockets. It was such a wonderful feeling, gleeful even, to cut down the people responsible for the deaths of her mother and brother. The woman could feel her rage building the more she fought, though, and there was one unfortunate grunt who took a bullet straight between the eyes when he got far too close for her own comfort. Gael's hyper beam took out another small group of them before Seraphim met up with the Phantom once more.

She didn't need to tell him that she was showing no mercy, as he'd instructed her. There was enough blood on her uniform to make that point without words. "You seem like you're having fun, Phantom," Seraphim noted, her back pressed to his while she worked on reloading the magazine of her pistol. Her gaze had locked to someone else's on the field and she had quickly feinted back to ensure that she wouldn't be so easily overpowered if she were alone. She knew most of her own Pokemon were not at the same level as the Phantom's or many of those here, and she was not about to be caught in a situation she wouldn't come out alive from.

The approach of their new opponent, however, had Seraphim quickly lifting her rifle and pointing it directly at the man. A warning. Don't get closer. Not unless you had a taste for metal. The metal of her mask glinted in the flickering lights of various attacks and battles going on around them. "No," Seraphim said in a firm tone, the voice changer in her mask keeping her true tenor a well-kept secret.
