Elio always loved himself a cool-looking pokemon. And nothing was cooler than a giant dinosaur. Back when he was little, his parents got him on some sets, mainly to hash out some sorta "business deal". But during those moments when left under the watchful eyes of his mother - he'd be able to see how they made the "movie magic".

Sure, it killed his imagination of movies for a bit. But he still had a major fascination with big, sturdy, badass pokemon. Especially, when they filmed the Godzilla vs Mothra fight scene with an actual Tyranitar and Volcarona. How they got ahold of such a pokemon he didn't know, but it was still really, really, cool. Plus, he got to see the sequel! Where they got a Hydreigon to play King Ghidra!

Suffice it to say, the young mafioso wanted a Tyranitar for himself. And so here he was, with the intent of catching one. Hopefully, his persistence bore fruit! He definitely deserved it after everything he went through on Mt Pyre, damn it!

Keenan sometimes wondered if some of the Pokemon in the world took inspiration from human media in what they turned into. Or if it was sheer coincidence some of them represented various kaiju of the ancient past. Tyranitar looked like Godzilla, and Volcarona Mothra. The world will likely not know, but the blonde wanted another pseudo-legendary to add to his team. He had his own Metagross with him to find one of these rampaging Tyranitars and take one down. They were cool Pokemon, definitely something he was interested in adding to his team. Even if it was getting to the point that he didn't have enough time to spend with a lot of his little buddies. Okay, some of them weren't so little anymore...

In the unique yet unquestionably vast genre that is Kaiju movies, there’s nothing more iconic, timeless, and prevalence than a giant Tyranitar. Even actresses like Fae Madden have appeared in one or two pieces of media involving such a trope, although in her case it was mecha giant Tyranitar.

The sight of the Tyranitar swarm she spots as she hikes up to Mount Chimney reminds her of those distant days. Life was so much fucking simpler when things like those were only a concern in movies and not actual threats. Here in Hoenn, though? Zev wiped the sweat off his brow and squinted up toward the peak of Mt. Chimney. Even though scientists assured the public that the volcano was not close to erupting, the intense heat along its slopes instilled doubt even in the hitman. But with the dome finally down, at least he could flee if an eruption ever happened. He and Caleb, of course.[break][break]

The sounds of digging behind him stopped, and Zev nodded approvingly at the mound of fresh dirt and rocks that covered the grave of his latest victim. Both his Nidoking and Cofagrigus looked pleased with their work.[break][break]

Before he could return them to their respective Poké Balls, however, a rumbling roar filled the air. Thankfully, it did not sound like the volcano was about to erupt; instead, it sounded very much like the roars that editors of kaiju movies used for their monsters. Whirling around, Zev caught sight of a bulky Tyranitar stomping along the mountainside several yards away.[break][break]

A flicker of emotion passed across the assassin's face: the recognition of an opportunity. His own Tyranitar had died during the attack on Littleroot not too long ago. What an excellent chance to obtain a replacement.[break][break]

Zev whistled a single note, the sharp sound cutting through the air. Nidoking snapped into action, charging at the Tyranitar before plunging into the hard earth using DIG. Moments later, he shot out of the ground directly beneath the wild Pokémon, crashing into it and sending it reeling.[break][break]

Zev cocked his arm back and threw a Poké Ball.[break][break]

Although something so mountainous didn't suit the ragtag team that Jesse had formed, he still caught interest in the sheer power that emanated from the colossus being. Through and through, the creature had resemblance to Godzilla -- both prehistoric creatures known for beams of power that could be shot from their maws. (Tyranitar had hyper beam, Godzilla had atomic heat beam, both very similar when one thought about them.)

Given he chose to use his Gengar to take on the colossus of a pokemon, he had an advantage given its Levitate ability. It wasn't long until Jesse himself planted his feet firm in the rocky ground and sent a poke ball flying.

This was crazy, if he was going to be honest.

Little did he know he had another pseudo-legendary Pokémon (well, two, actually) among the few companions that he was lugging around with him (as he’d left behind a vast majority of his companions—travel incognito when in an unfamiliar land) in the guise of a Dragonite and a Dragapult…

And he sought to add another one to the team.

Would he get lucky?

Only a singular toss of a Pokéball would tell.

Nobody wanted to fight a Tyranitar. But what was more dangerous than Tyranitar?

A whole ass swarm of them. What the hell.

"Form a perimeter, warn off all approaching civilians!" The young man ordered with a sweep of his arm as he marched forth, numerous soldiers spreading out to cordon the swarm with nervous looks on their faces.

Even from where they stood, the earth seemed to tremble whenever a Tyranitar barreled violently into another, the viciously territorial creatures having little patience not just for other pokemon, but specially for their own kind.

Their leader looked relatively confident as he marched forth, three net balls in hand as his mega dog tags crackled with primal energy and light.

"Back to the mountains, you brutes."

[attr="class","main"]GODZILLA had clearly been based upon a Tyranitar; even Gavin, ignorant of films though he was, knew that much. What better a creature to inspire fear and awe than a titan with the strength to crush a mountain beneath its might?[break][break]

He already has a Tyranitar of his own, a hulking shadowed brute whom he sends out now to do battle with her rampaging kin.[break][break]

With all the chaos caused by the displacement of other worlds, the DARK SANDSTREAM summoned by the titan barely seems out of place. She lets loose a TERRIFYING roar as she grapples with another of her kind, the earth shaking beneath their combined weight as they fight for dominance. Gavin, disguised by a Zorua resting between his feet, puffs on a cigarette as he watches this contest of wills.[break][break]

When he deems one of the weakened Pokemon to be a viable target, he tosses an empty luxury ball from his supply.[break][break]

Hopefully his aim hasn't suffered as a result of his injuries.[break][break]

Was it too much to ask for a single moment of peace? This was the question she had rather loudly voiced as reports of a Tyranitar swarm at the Jagged pass, reached her.

Well, she wasn’t about to leave such dangerous Pokémon roaming. And so had gone there as fast as possible. Showing up with her squad she was quick to begin enacting a containment plan against the aggressive KAIJU.

But the Tyrannitar was quick to retaliate. Elinor’s Pokémon began to fight with a bunch of Tyranitar and their lower evolutionary forms.

Nearby Elinor saw other trainers trying their luck with other parts of the swarm. She knew the Swarm wouldn’t last long if other trainers with equal fervor had come to join in on the fray. At some point during the containment procedure, Elinor saw an opportunity to throw a Pokéball and perhaps capture a member of the swarm.

Though if she succeeded would be up to fate.

TYRANITAR were no stranger to DAMKINA, one of his closest Pokémon companions. The GARCHOMP's skills had been honed in the DUSTY BOWL at GALAR, after all. She'd been a force to be reckoned with even when she'd been a little GIBLE.

Now, faced against an entire SWARM of them, Damkina was eager to see how much her power had grown. With the power of the keystone in Remiel's gauntlet, she undergoes MEGA EVOLUTION before launching herself into the fray. She is a flurry of ferocious slashes (METAL CLAW) and earth-shattering explosions (DIG).

When the dust settles, Remiel steps in to see what remains of her competitors with an empty luxury ball in hand.

Well this was going to be a problem and a half.

The region was so out of control that it was no wonder people could be spared to be sent out here to quiet down a bunch of rampaging lizards. Still that's why Kaz knew he had to make up by being as strong as ten Machokes when dealing with one of these things. Cracking his knuckles he threw out a ball and let out his mechanized kaiju of a beast Duraldon out to stare down at the Tyranitars before giving chase. "Guess they ain't alone in being a bad mood." he stated observing the ensuing chaos his pokemon was causing before giving chase after it throwing pokeballs every which way to try and capture a few of them to whittle down the numbers.

It seemed that Hoenn would never find a moment's peace. If it wasn't a clash between League forces and Team Rocket, or the interference of interdimensional third parties, it was something in nature. A pissed off group of Tyranitar were wreaking havoc in the area, and they'd have to clean up.

Though Thomas wasn't going to lie, a new Tyranitar would've been a nice addition to his roster.

Thomas tossed a Pokeball at the group, hoping to get lucky.
