Autumn wasn't an idiot, she was going to need a hell of a lot more firepower if she was going to best each of Hoenn's gyms. And maybe, just maybe, if Elinor didn't want her tagging along, she shouldn't have left her laptop unlocked when she left.

Autumn peered at the report. A Tyranitar swarm could be just what she needed, and there was no real harm in trying her luck. Worst case scenario, she came home empty-handed with a few bruises to show for her trouble and got to ruffle her sister's feathers a bit in the process. Best case, she had a new weapon in her arsenal, one that even Elinor couldn't turn her up her nose at.

However, nothing prepared Autumn for the sheer number of trainers with the same idea. Did people not have anything better to do? Had they never seen Godzilla? Ugh. Fine. Well, best to get while the going is good, before too many lucky someone's land a pokeball or some especially unlucky moron kicks off a stampede.

Autumn has a ball ready. Watching. Waiting. Biding her time until -- Ha! That one's not even looking! She raises her arm and throws, hoping for the best. Knowing that she could use the edge that a Tyranitar would bring to her team.

Unlike many, and most-importantly, against the good advice of her surroundings, Brynn had just come to watch these titans looking for a fight instead. Last time she'd done such a thing she'd been chased by them, so this time around she'd keep a proper distance... or, rather, a higher position that they couldn't just waltz onto. Spica's eyes were shooting daggers as she regarded her trainer, hoping that this time around she wouldn't have to fight her way through a potential mess again. Then again, those Tyranitar did look interesting to look at.

Maybe they'd get lucky and find a lone one to catch?

Big Drippy the fellow pseudo-legendary seemed to be way more excited than its trainer to be out and about the tyranitar swarm, swerving its way towards the clumps of the large godzilla-like beasts. It seemed to have something to prove, though Micah was more keen on keeping an eye on her beloved pokemon to make sure it wasn't going to get itself hurt. While the dragon type seemed to take multiple steps forward, Micah lagged behind and kept her pokeball out to return the stray goodra to a safe location if it decided to dig too deep into the stampede. If luck was on their side, they would walk away unharmed. If luck really favored them, however, they may walk away with a bit more than that. [break]

Spikes clashed with claws as territorial roars and growls echoed over the battlefield. Though she was being gripped by the opposing Tyranitar, Delphi opened her sharp-toothed maw wide and Crunched down on the other pseudo-legendary, who roared in pain. The battle reminded Ruby of a scaled-down version of those giant monster movies. Those were always a good time; there was nothing like kicking back and watching a couple of gigantic beasts duke it out. She remembered describing the on-screen action to Jade with youthful enthusiasm, even when her sister was more interested in the plot and the symbolism and themes and whatnot. It was so weird how differently they thought sometimes.

[break][break]Delphi screeched and was forced to step back when the Tyranitar used an Ice Fang. Ruby grimaced. She needed to end this fast. "Bulldoze it, Delphi!"

[break][break]Now that was an order Delphi was happy with following. With a high roar, she stomped down on the ground, making it tremble beneath her opponent. The Tyranitar topped over with a satisfying crash!, leaving it dazed on the ground. Ruby grabbed an empty Poké Ball from her bag and tossed it at the prone Pokémon. Delphi turned toward her, looking offended.

“C’mon Fang, let’s see what we can get.” Blue grins wide and toothy, stepping up along her lucario in a fighting stance. As if she’s foolish enough to go toe-to-toe with one of the massive, agitate tyrannitar herself. If she were feeling more feral, maybe she would have. Instead, in her hand is a pokeball—which she aims in the center of the horde. Angling for the biggest Dino she can spot. Big as can be, they remind her of the old school Godzilla films they used to play at the orphanage she grew up in, because everything they had was outdated and long released in terms of books and movies and music.[break][break]

Hokey special effects aside, Blue had always liked those movies. The risk that came with messing with something bigger than oneself. Always sort of made her want to pick those fights. This was much more vivid and real, though. Obviously.

Things have been nonstop crazy since METENO but he'd be damned if he'd let this keep him from catching something as strong as a Tyranitar. Hellbent on restructuring his team after heavy losses, Mint moves through the swarm zone with singlehanded focus, his Tangrowth beside him keeping close eye but ready to tear through the dinosaurs in their wake. They approach their first one, the pokemon roaring angrily at the pair.

Her hand ached, but that was to be expected when there were at least two bones broken in it. Maybe she hadn't reacted the best after the meteorite and after losing Goron, but she didn't regret it. Her choice of punching bag could have been different, however.

With news that a swarm had appeared in the Jagged Pass, Andraste had taken the day to at least make an attempt at capturing some new Pokemon for her team. If the raids had taught her anything, it was that she needed to prep more. Being a fan of the old Godzilla movies, the urge to have a Pokemon that looked like Godzilla was just a little too good to pass up.

So the lady pressed on, growing just a little more excited as she approached closer.

The last time she’d met a Tyranitar, one had stared her right in the face, like an overwhelmingly strong kaiju. And she’d stared right back, facing it back down – until its trainer arrived and sorted things out. Not exactly the most dangerous incident ever, given that there had not been any danger at any point in the proceedings.

Still though, it had been a pretty impressive display. Hence she had come here, today, with Lucario by her side, in order to hunt one down for herself. Naturally, only time would tell whether or not she could get herself one of those mighty titans for herself. But she was going to try at the very least.

Honestly he needed a vacation. But there was so much work to do in the aftermath that Josh didn't really see that happening. Things had been chaotic ever since, and Pokemon had been restless, out of control, or even fighting with others not from their natural ecosystem ever since. So Josh had found himself back on the field quickly enough. While he didn't play some kind of pivotal role, he had been working to keep Hoenn safe while others tried to warp the meteor.

Except his work didn't end when the meteor was gone. Because one of said ecosystems was in danger again, and a couple of godzilla were the cause. It didn't take long for the veteran Ranger to jump into the fray.

Field work was a necessary part of the job. He didn't get to go out often, so any time the opportunity presented itself Gideon was sure to participate. Today's work had them at out Jagged Pass to investigate the aftereffects of the warped 99943 METENO meteoroid.

Things were going well until an unsettling roar broke the expedition group's focus.

It appeared like a hulking GODZILLA from the murk, maw agape and teeth barred in warning. A TYRANITAR bigger than any individual Gideon had ever seen before. Given how sudden this aggression was, the professor didn't think it best to simply walk away. It would leave him vulnerable to any rampaging attacks from the gargantuan beast.

Instead, he deemed it more appropriate to quell the Pokémon. Releasing CRISPR from his Poké Ball, Gideon then instructed the VIVILLON to dust it with a large dose of SLEEP POWDER.
