The past 2 years have been a lot of fun, but after a lot of consideration, I think I gotta throw in the towel. Working 12 hour shifts on top of 8 hours of sleep means that for most of the week I only get maybe 3-3 1/3 hours of free time a day, and having a work schedule that flips every week makes it hard to maintain my muse and a consistent posting schedule.

This is the longest I've ever gotten to stick with a site, and every day here's been an absolute blast! I write with a lot of really great people and I'll miss all of the plot lines we never got to see through to the end. Thanks to Shiv and Spiral for running one of the best RP experiences I've ever had, and to everyone else I've had the pleasure of meeting!

Whatever complaint they were about to make fell to silence as the Questar's fate was revealed under their and Skyler's Pokémon's light, bright yellows and blues playing along the skeletal remains of her long-forgotten crew. Locke instinctually took a step back from the scene, bumping into their unseen companion as she tried to steady them both.

But it was one step too far away.

In an instant Angelo and Skyler were both gone, followed by a rush of panic as Latias pursued their friend and brother down the right path. Locke was close behind, calling out to Cyrus before they too vanished from sight.

Chou-Chou's light guided him through the tunnel-like hall, down increasingly-odd curves and turns that seemingly led to nowhere at all. The sound of boot against metal gradually faded into something softer, squishier.

Was the steady thrumming in his ears his heart-or someone else's? Either way, he couldn't stand the sound of it anymore, so he drowned it in the name of his lost companion.

A flash of pink in the water seemed to indicate Latias was still near, but instead of the illusory Slowpoke they could only see Eva Morales's Alomomola. It didn't take long for an invisible something to brush against their cheek, however, before departing once again now that the fun was over.

Between this and Eris Halla calling him in to explore Mt. Pyre's own rift, it seemed all of Locke's friends were hellbent on dragging him to these dangerous new locations. Even the thrill-seeking Latias had been less than enthused for this excursion after their last little trip into the unknown.

But there were no spirits here to enact their vengeance through him, and he trusted angelo vestri and skyler dross enough to follow them into the depths of hell itself.

And, uh, he was sure that other guy was cool too.

The wreckage shouldn't have been as much of a surprise as it was. Everything else about this world felt eerie and dreamlike, even more so than your average cave system-but the vessel still felt alien and out of place in this not-quite-ocean.

"I'll have to take your word on that," he replied, frowning at the foreign language.

They followed their friend's lead upwards-or downwards, the lack of air bubbles to right their sense of direction turned this dimension into an Esheresque nightmare-until they reached the nose of the wreck, landing on the near-ninety degree angle of the deck with an unnatural ease only possible in this world without gravity.

There was indeed a way inside there in the form of a watertight door fitted into the base of the helm that could potentially lead into either the captains quarters or the lower decks. Locke approached its cartoonish speedwheel and gave it an experimental tug, only to be met by the resistance of rust and time.

The Gyro Ball hopped, seemingly catching on a bit of broken ground, only to connect with the stadium walls and continue rolling at a ninety degree angle just underneath the audience.

The sputtering of an engine announced the masked man's arrival before he even reached the stage, building anticipation in the seconds before he burst through the entryway on the back of what appeared to be a motorcade. The spotlight followed him as he circled the stadium a few times, white cape flying behind him as he sped faster and faster, before coming to a Screeching halt centerstage.

A flip at the end might've been cool, but he was neither as acrobatic as the other contestants, nor brave enough to see if he could pull it off.

"Hello again, I'm Mister Reeman!" he announced once both the engine and the crowd died down. "No tricks this time-What you see now is the real deal! Ro-Ro?"

On cue, the headlight flashed on to reveal a shining yellow eye, the mouth above it stretching wide as the engine roared to life again, revealing the Revavroom possessing the bike.
