the night sky was a subject of wonder for centuries. from it bore studies that came from curiosities, or stories that attempted to give life to the imagination of the unknown.

tonight, kyle is present to disprove the latter.

he opens his phone to review the request he got from a client. it made him raise his eyebrows, but he's slowly learning that even the most unbelievable stories have their merit in their beloved region.

alien abductions, they say. it was a threat that was going to take residents of slateport one by one. that's what kyle had been told, and all the speculation came from a claim that they saw lights from the outskirts one night.

he sighs. he just has to keep an eye out until dawn to disprove the claim and ease the client's mind, or at least, find a realistic reason for why they saw lights. he assumes volbeat, but assumptions are nothing more than that.

before long, the grassy hill he was on lights up bright. overhead, he manages to watch a stereotypical alien ship. his mouth is unable to say anything, but his head quickly finds another bystander watching the scene unfold.

kyle watches their expression to figure out if he's having a hallucination.
