Born in Pallet Town, Kanto. Few details are known outside of that he was taken in by Team Rocket at age 10 and trained as a child soldier, learning survival skills, Pokemon handling, and combat tactics.[break][break]
During a raid on a Team Rocket base at age 12, Garm was rescued by the International Police. However, he found it difficult to integrate into normal society. He was moved between orphanages in Johto and Hoenn due to behavioral problems and violent tendencies. [break][break]
At age 15, he dropped out of the system entirely and returned to a life of crime. Garm became a talented smuggler for Team Rocket, working under cadis von klaussner. [break][break]
At age 21, Garm was captured by the Pokemon League but turned double agent to take down Team Rocket members in exchange for a reduced sentence.[break][break]
Garm served 3 years. Upon release at age 25, he joined the HBIC and changed his name. Garm went undercover to infiltrate Team Rocket. However, he was caught and sent to Maximum Security Prison. As per his contract as a double agent, no exfiltration will be performed upon capture.[break][break]
At age 26, Garm escaped prison with the help of former Elite Four trainer, Thomas Benoit, during an operation to extract councilwoman Elinor Anderson.
