The sky was thick with impending rain. Luke’s jog brought him to the edge of the water, where he stuttered to a stop, shirtless torso sheened with sweat. He flicked his Poketch active and checked his time, pulse, and other metrics, as Sultan continued his slow, even flight above him, looping out over the water while his trainer took advantage of his resting period before starting his cooldown run back to civilization.

Having been trapped inside his penthouse apartment for the last twelve some-odd hours due to a lovely Hoenn tropical thunderstorm, Luke was practically institutional-levels of stir-crazy.

The grass beneath his boots was damp with fallen rain as he and Gita strode through the mud-soft ground in search of new Pokemon to add to his team... or, just, anything to do, really.
