Silver, Yujin quickly turned cold-blooded—for the increasingly disturbing weather phenomenon meant more human sacrifices to appease their vindictive ‘God of the Mountain’. Friends and family dwindled down to the desperate digits on one hand.[break][break] At age twelve, an Alolan explorer offered to smuggle her and her brother out before they counted down the seconds to oblivion. Yujin made it; her brother did not.[break][break] She was relocated to a Johtonian enclave in Hau’oli City where she eventually joined the military to gain skills and an education, trusting that truer things could be found in the wider world. [break][break] It was a brutal transition but one that gave her the necessary structure to assimilate into society.[break][break] At age thirty she was accepted into the International Police and has been transient since. In addition to normal duties she has an expertise in surveillance technology, causing her to be sent all across the remote regions of the world to investigate tampering or suspicious use of beacons, drones, communications arrays, sensors, jammers, etc. [break][break]
