Both Zachary , Dizzy and Hermes saw as the woman was thrown off the Alola Ninetails. It wasn't a surprise that Shalin was knocked on her ass from all that. "Um... I'm starting to think you don't have all your cards for a full deck," Zachary commented softly. Dizzy gave a small whimper in equal concern. [break][break] At the sight of Hermes, Shalin got all excited. She commented how huge he was, as if from a distortion? Hermes and Zachary exchanged looks, not sure if he was from such a distortion. He was large enough to put Zachary on his tail and ride with him. "Um... maybe," Zachary said, but in the end wasn't sure. He just shrugged his shoulders at that. [break][break] As Shalin gawked at Hermes, the electric mouse began to pose, showing off. He clearly liked the attention and now was giving Shalin a show as he gave then a kick-off and flip in the air on his tail. A little trick to show off with a smile.[break][break] Dizzy just rolled his eyes in silence, not caring for Hermes showmanship. [break][break]

It wasn't uncommon for a Meowstic to loose control of his psychic power, known as the 'constraint' pokemon. They kept their ears covered to contain their powers better. This one probably just got a little excited-- but Zachary loved it. As for Greed, Razz wasn't even bothered by it. The Haunter gave a very enthused laugh and used his disembodied hand to give friendly pats to Razz's back like he was his new best buddy. [break][break] Zachary sighed, realizing the ghost saw that as a challenge. "I really wish you hadn't said that. It's like adding fuel to a fire..." [break][break] The sight of the damaged wall and things did suggest a bit of confusion and worry. The Meowstic seemed a bit timid at the mention of what caused it. It wasn't clear if the source of it was still here or not, but it was something the little cat was skittish of. [break][break] Dizzy the Delphox looked to the marks, looking almost to be both scratches and burns. While a few wild pokemon, mostly ghosts floated around them-- something malicious probably did lurk in this house. The fox's gaze gleamed stronger as it looked around, peering at nearby doors in anticipation for anything dangerous. [break][break] Dizzy's barks and growls made Zachary known, as he soon looked to the wall too. "Well, I guess those concerns of hauntings weren't without reason." Zachary said as he looked to Razz and his Meowstic. "Should we keep looking around? I mean... not to be that cliche moron in a horror movie who willingly steps into the bad scene that everyone hates him for it?" he added with sarcasm. [break][break] Dizzy gave Zachary a leer for his 'pop-culture' reference. All the while however, the Meowstic came over to Zachary and clung to his leg-- concerned for him. Answering the cat's concerns, Zachary leaned down and lovingly petted the cat's head. [break][break]

Mind vs. Matter! (Mission)

The Pangoro's attack was a last ditch effort-- but the attack was enough to do the big thing. Reflect soon cracked, having endured all it could! The shards of energy shattered, and vanished, leaving Xatu open to its attack. The giant bear came down to try and take a bite on Prophet like he was chicken! [break][break] "Finish it, Happy!" Zachary cried, not about to want to see Prophet get 'eaten'. "Dazzling GLEAM!!" [break][break] "Miiiiiiimeeee!" Happy cheered as he gave a dramatic spin, and raised his tiny hands. With his small display, a brilliant light radiated from his body. It glowed and grew brighter. In that moment, Happy charged forward, glowing like a brilliant rocket, attempting to intercept the crunch. The little mime was a brave little Pokemon as it charged, delivering to meet the Crunch of the Pangoro with all his might! [break][break] The impact made Zachary flinch, guarding his eyes from the blinding dazzling brilliance of Happy's courage. [break][break]

The masked figure didn't hesitate to mock Zachary's use of the Tarot for his pokemon. As a psychic trainer, he valued mystism-- but he didn't care if his foe didn't. They were given it for a reason! However, it must of meant something cause the sight of Hermes-- made the mask man pause for a brief moment. Zachary didn't know why or how, but it seemed he had some sort of reaction to the Raichu that was unexpected. HHe didn't stop though as he was determine to fight regardless. [break][break] The hesitation soon ended with the call to "Catch" as the bear Pokemon responded by kicking one of the Voltorb towards Hermes-- attempting to use a sneak attack like that. [break][break] "Hermes! Dodge with Agility!" Zachary cried, and Hermes responded with a roudy shout. [break][break] In a blur of motion-- the Voltorb hit the ground and exploded, but only erupted on the ground where Hermes had been. Hermes also flashed away from Ice Punch as he swiftly zipped to and fro in a hurry! In a flash of movement, the roudy Alola Raichu reappeared, flashing about, surfing on his tail like a showy skateboarder! [break][break] The show-off Hermes 'surfed' behind the bear, giving a rather playful and mocking wave as if to say 'I'm over here!" [break][break] Heremes just did that kind of thing. He loved to throw the gauntlet down and antagonize his foe at times. [break][break] "Nasty Plot, Hermes! " Zachary called out. In response, Hermes snickered in his 'trickster' like nature. The wicked mischief twinkled in his eye, as he got excited by messing with the seemingly neutra-looking angry bear. [break][break] Still, Zachary was one to plan and power up his Pokemon. With the right movements, he could finish this quick and deal a blow to the Team Rocket member. [break][break]

Zachary saw the more neutral expression of the guy, as it was clear his impression of Josh wasn't that great or important. However, he also gave a generic thumbs up for his dream to be a gym leader and wished him luck. Zachary gave a small modest chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck as he did so while Happy and Razz's Meowstic introduced themselves to the newer Meowstic. [break][break] Zachary and Razz discussed it, and it seemed Razz agreed. Pretty much taking the words out of Zachary's mouth, Razz approached the Meowstic and asked to show them around. The Meowstic paused-- and then he gave a happy cheer, lifting his ears up a bit at that. As he did, some of the furniture started to lift due to his exposed ears revealed. "Whoh!" Zachary gasped as the objects levitated. Realizing the error, the Meowstic stopped and shyly tucked back down his ears. "Mrrrew..." the cat meowed, as if to say 'sorry.' It clearly got overly excited to have guests over. [break][break] With their full party of Pokemon and people, Meowstic led them through the house, finding the generic dining room and lounge, all the while the high ceilings dark and ready with chandeliers on the ceilings. [break][break] All the while, Zachary's Haunter Greed, would fade in and out-- as if to try and startle Zachary and Razz-- especially Razz as the ghost would hover overhead, trying to startle the new person to startle a reaction. It would give a "Cheshire cat' grin, as if trying to add to the haunted atmosphere. [break][break] "GREEEEEED!" Zachary warned, causing the haunter to drop his antics for a little bit. "You better behave, or no apples for you later!" [break][break] THe haunter frowned at that-- torn between his humor of a good time, or his delicious apples. [break][break] As they searched, they saw clear signs of disturbances... torn furniture, claws or something on the walls, other things to suggest something violent had been through here. [break][break] Meowstic looked a little skiddish too as he looked around, making sure it was safe for its new friends. [break][break]

Slash was strong but Happy's resilliant nature made it nothing the little mime couldn't handle. He soon used Reflect again, to make the damage less impactful. Meanwhile, Prophet was still asleep . "Prophet! Wake up already!" Zachary shouted. [break][break] In that moment, the bird's head snapped wide awake-- eyes open. Seeing the Pangoro attacking Happy, the bird took action. With a loud cry, it conjured a Shadow Ball in a split second move, and fired it at the panda. [break][break] The sudden jolt was a shock to everyone as the bird snapped awake, and now was apart of the battle again. Things were going well for Zachary, and soon he felt a rush of relief, knowing they would possibly win. [break][break]

So he was a ranger, like Josh was. As they recovered in the safety of the 'haunted house' , they were able to at least learn more about one another safe from the now brewing storm. At his question if Zachary was a ranger himself or something similar, Zachary felt bashful as he raised a hand and rubbed the back of his neck modestly. " Oh, does that mean you know Josh Devlin ?" he asked, trying to break ice with this new ranger he just met. He felt embarrassed not being a big shot like Josh or him. "Oh, no. I'm just your run-of-the-mill trainer. I'm currently working hard to make a name for myself. My dream is to one day become a Gym Leader. But I need more experience, so I am working hard to earn my badges and stuff. But I had the good luck to meet a few gym leaders already." [break][break] At the sight of the little Meowstic hiding, Zachary smiled to the man's advice. With that, he gladly accepted the pokemon food to try and urge the cat out. [break][break] "Hey there... It's okay. We're friends. Do you live here, Meowstic?" Zachary asked, approaching and placing the food somewhat close for the Meowstic to get. [break][break] HOwever, the poor cat flinched at their approach, not really trusting as he saw the humans. Sensing the unease, Zachary felt it was best to bring out other pokemon, who would be more friendly and show they meant no ill will. He took out his pokeballs and began to open them, showing them also to Razz. "It's okay. We're all friends here," he said and his Pokemon came out with their flashes of light. [break][break] One by one, appeared Happy, the Mime Jr , Prophet the Xatu, and Greed the Haunter. Reason for Greed, if their were a real haunting, might help to have a ghost pokemon with them... if Greed could try and behave. [break][break] The poor Meowstic was scared, perhaps of other humans or something. However, -- Zachary's most friendlist pokemon, Happy was a great way to break the ice. The little mime waddled forward and gave his heart-melting smile. "Mi-mi-mime!" he squealed, waving a hand. He eagerly approached, making the cat flinch, but seeing Happy, the little cat soon came out of hiding, happy to see such a cheerful expression. [break][break] It calmed down and soon nibbled on some of the food, looking like it had not eaten in a while. [break][break] "I wonder what's it doing here all alone? Think its wild, or did it belong to the former owners?" Zachary asked, curious why it was in the house. "There is a chance that wild pokemon found shelter in here too. I mean what better place for pokemon to find a place to live in an abandoned mansion." Zachary asked Razz. [break][break] As if to agree-- Greed floated beside them and gave his 'reward' scary cackle of glee-- being a ghost in the house. The Ghost Pokemon eagerly decided to 'play' , passing through the walls nearby to play 'hide & seek' with them. [break][break] Zachary shook his head. Greed could be a bigger headache than Tarot, his Kadabra, could be sometimes. [break][break]

"A Wild Trainer Has Appeared!" (Social)

The guy, despite their misunderstanding was itching to go. Zachary soon reached into his jacket pocket and took out one of his Pokeballs. He began to toss it up and down in the air. "Well, you know what they say," Zachary said before he stopped tossing the ball-- and extended it, showing the Luxury Ball with the unusual markings "VII" on it! A dangerous seriousness showed in Zachary's eyes now as he got ready to brawl. "Be careful what you wish for!" [break][break] With his resolve to battle, Zachary held the Pokeball. "I invoke the courage of the Chariot..." Then he tossed the ball high into the air! "Ride, HERMES!!" The ball erupted with its light and it gathered before Aaron, and boy was he in for a surprise![break][break] The Pokemon who appeared, was an Alolan Raichu! The electric mouse floated on its tail, its arms folded, already ready for battle or any challenge, showing a fair amount of over-confidence. "Rai-Raiii!" The large Raichu boasted, spotting the smaller Pikachu. Raichu floated near the smaller version of its species. That only made Hermes more cocky, now giving barking comments as if 'he was sure to win' or 'he was better than the smaller mouse'. [break][break] Such comments was not sporting-- but that was Hermes. He had an overabundance of confidence and cockiness, and Zachary had a hard time reigning in that energy of his. [break][break] "Didn't expect this, did you?" Zachary commented, a hint of the Alola Raichu's confidence showing in Zachary too. "Forget cooking. Hermes will deep fry you if you don't take us seriously!" [break][break] They could trash talk all day... but they did want to battle in the end, didn't they? [break][break]

Dizzy was hopping to and fro the moving boxes of Magic Room, trying to be a moving target and perhaps sneak behind the defenses of Light Screen. However, no matter where he was, he wouldn't be able to dodge this! [break][break] The Sylpheon soon released a low, haunting cry-- the sound of something that resembled close to what Zachary knew as "Alluring Voice" but it was different. It was slightly annoying, as Zachary had rather sharp hearing. [break][break] Dizzy, however, was far better-- which wasn't good for him! [break][break] The poor Delphox heard the sound and braced his big, poor ears, covering it with his paws. It was more annoying than anything else, but still a pain. It would only get worse as Dizzy tried to navigate and get closer. The boxes would of offered some protection, but not from sound! [break][break] "That sound attack will be deadly for Dizzy if this goes on!" Zachary observed, Happy beside him also concerned as he heard the sound-- but luckily didn't affect him due to "Soundproof". [break][break] Josh knew what he was doing! He was not a gym leader for nothing! [break][break] There was no time to hold back now. "Dizzy, use Future Sight! Now!" Zachary called out over the "Hyper Voice!" [break][break] Despite the pain in his ears, Dizzy growled and held his flaming stick up. With Sylpheon in his sights on the ground-- his eyes glowed as he looked into his lit blaze-- seeing into the future! He could see himself, Sypheon, where she was-- and how his attack would take place. [break][break] They just had to last that long! Dizzy was intending to win, and tolerate whatever tactics Josh and Pinky had to get there. [break][break]

Electrifying Encounters (Mission-bond bridge)

The moment they passed through the trees-- Zachary was startled by the sight of Shalin's Beedril flying by. Zachary jumped and fell back on his butt, making Dizzy frown at Zachary's jump-scare reaction to the bug Pokemon. [break][break] The area was much bigger than Zachary's small berry grove. He saw a large lake ahead of them, carrying all kinds of water pokemon, as the fields before them held other types-- all belonging to Shalin. [break][break] And there she was-- riding a beautiful white Ninetails! An alola Ninetails of all things. It was beautiful and elegant---[break][break] Till he saw the Ninetails start to buck and try to shake Shalin off. The scene was so odd and not-so-graceful as Ninetails were likely to be. Even Dizzy looked on, thinking the trainer was a bit crazy in the head. [break][break] The scene was quite violent and Zachary was stunned a bit. After a pause, Zachary stopped and called out to shalin. He held up his hands and shout loud so she could hear him. "Um, SHALIN! HEEEEY! " Zachary called out, to grasp her attention. "We're here! Didn't you wanted to see one of my Pokemon from my Gym Challenge with Josh or something?!" [break][break] As she would get off-- or potentially thrown off from the violent seeming Ninetails, Zachary took out the Pokeball marked by VII. He tossed it up to the air happily. [break][break] "Hermes, time to shine!" [break][break] The pokeball released its light and out appeared the Alola Raichu Hermes! The big raichu gave a happy cheer as he greeted everyone, still astride its floating big tail. He was already boasting, sticking his chest out as if he was the toughest pokemon among them and expecting an applause. [break][break]

Meowstic Mystery Mansion (Mission Version)

Dizzy continued to recover from the rain, shaking his fur to get he majority of the water out-- spraying it and even adding to Zachary's discomfort. Nyx also gave an unsatisfactory hoot at Dizzy, already shaking her own feathers to get dry. [break][break] "Come on guys, enough with the waterworks..." Zachary cried as he was soon stopped by the presence of another, joining in from the rain. [break][break] Zachary was stunned, not knowing who he was or that other people were on the job too. The older kid was indeed someone with more experinece-- probably the same age as Josh Devlin. He looked just as cool with black hair and the odd show of an eye patch over half of his face. He tried to be sympathetic and not say anything. His pokemon, however, were less tact as they noticed the man's condition. Even more noticeable was the blue cat Meowstic on his shoulder. That was a pleasant surprise to Zachary-- as he loved Meowstics. [break][break] "Um... Hi there. Nice to meet you. I'm... Zachary. Zachary Stellar. I'm working the job for this house too." Zachary said, a bit shy, mostly a bit intimidated by the older trainer and the mysterious mask he had on half his face. His concern was perhaps he was with Team Rocket... but that was wrong to just presume. He just had that 'dark mystique' of it. Maybe it was cause of the Meowstic. Who knew? [break][break] The awkward moment was paused by the violent crack of lightning and thunder-- making Dizzy the Delphox jump and frightfully cling to Zachary, and Nyx the Hoothoot to jump with fight on his shoulder. There was no turning back now from going into the mysterious mansion as the rain started to downpour and just roar with range. "Maybe we can chat about this inside?" Zachary asked over the roar of the rain. [break][break] Not hesitating further, he and Razz would go inside the building. [break][break] The big doors opened to way of a hallway, looking like a classic building . It was dusty, old and cobwebs here and there. Not wishing to be cold any longer... Dizzy took his stick and ignited it, making a small fire to warm and light their way. [break][break] "Um, sorry about that? Not that this place isn't enough to put anyone on guard too." Zachary spoke as he looked around, seeing the interior of the building. "But I guess we have to check--" [break][break] Mrrrow? a voice came out from the shadows. If Razz was paying attention, it would sound very similar to the sound of his own Meowstic. However, it came from the nearby corner of the first part of the hall. Zachary turned to it, as did Dizzy, prepared to defend his trainer if it was dangerous. [break][break] However-- what peeked around the corner was black in color-- with adorable ears, and a cat's eye-- showing to be another "Meowstic". A male one, just like Razz's Salem. [break][break] Zachary gleamed with surprise. "Oh wow... A Meowstic! Oh I wanted to find my own for some time!" Zachary said, the fear of the haunted house meeting into happiness to see the cat Pokemon. [break][break]
