Having explored Rustboro itself, and having met some people there, she was already ready to start traveling. Sure she could've started her gym challenge with the weather badge, but she thought it'd be more fun to skip it for now and start with somewhere else. And it's not like travelling would be hard, she had Cloudnine the altaria with her. And with the comfy, light and yet sturdy clouds, she could even sleep on the cloud bird if she so desired.[break][break]

But she didn't desire that. She desired seeing everywhere. Exploring everywhere and meeting everyone possible. Good, bad, inbetween. It didn't matter to her. She just wanted to experience all there was to travelling, adventuring and life. And she wanted to have fun doing it. It didn't matter where, when, how, who, why or what. As long as she was doing it.[break][break]

Though they'd only just left the city and started on the route, Aliyana had decided that it was time to take a break. Partly because she just wanted to spend time with Denne the Dedenne and Faun the Deerling as well as Cloudnine her ride.

Aliyana decided that to start off her adventures, she should explore Rustboro and try to meet people around town. That way she'd at least have her uncle right there if she needed. Not that she was typically the type to turn down adventure, after all she came all the way out to Hoenn from Johto. Though it had taken some convincing of her dad to let her do so. Still. There was a region out there waiting to be explored and that started right here. Closer to... "home".[break][break]

She wondered if there'd be other young people like her wanting to take on the gyms or be a ranger? She wasn't exactly sure when she came to that decision and it had been a difficult conversation with her dad. Still, she was here. And able to explore. And do what she wants.[break][break]

And part of all that was meeting people! She found that most people here in Rustboro were friendly, others more focused on getting from point a to b, but most were happy to greet her and hold conversation with her. Still she had yet to find anyone even remotely close to her age. Were they all in school or something? Boring. School was so boring compared to the vast outside world. Oh well. She'd just keep looking around the city until she found someone.

Daddy had always been protective. Maybe not always the kindest, but full of love regardless. So Aliyana was shocked when he had agreed to let her leave and explore another region. Sure there was the condition that it had to be Hoenn and she was to find her Uncle Nikita. But she was free to leave nonetheless. And so her journey into the wide world of pokemon, people and problems began![break][break]

Except when she got to her uncle's. He didn't appear to be home. Didn't daddy call ahead? It wouldn't be that much of a surprise if he hadn't... but she thought he would've had enough common courtesy to at least do so. It was a good thing her daddy had prepared her for situations like this, and most locks weren't a challenge for her.[break][break]

Door defeated, she entered the house and began to make herself at home, starting with finding something to eat. She'd figure out how to pay her uncle back later. She was buzzing with excitement at the thought of his reaction to her turning up on his doorstep - or rather his living room couch.
