It probably sounds nothing short of some strange, internet-circulating meme, the way Chrysanthe keeps talking about things, but there is a dead-seriousness to her that quite believes in every words she utters, not so many questions as asked. "Yup, the evil overlord," she, in fact, says, matter-of-factly.[break]

Watching how the bobas disappear from the drink to his cheeks, she tries to do the same not soon after, not looking unlike a Greedent after a while. Surprise is colouring her face - bobas emptying all at once when Noah mentions that the evil wizard is still roaming the place. "Whaaaat? That must be a tricky one indeed ... hmm ... what do heroes usually do with evil wizards?" Maybe they could become friends?

To Chrysanthe, it seemed a little like the most obvious thing in the world, now that she actually thought about it - and fortunately, it seems like the stranger is agreeing with her, too. Wait, does that mean ... "Yes - maybe I should actually buy one more for my knight, too," she muses, finger to her chin as she ponders. For some reason, she also feels like she should get two more, even though there is only Doireann the Mawile ... right? But while the other is tending to her shiny Hatenna, Chrysanthe is putting down the couple of bobas that she has begun packing to check the contents of her purse. Which - as one would guess after buying a total of six of the sugary treats - is quite empty. Maybe Doireann has to wait ... Sad. She's sure he would have appreciated this novelty, time-limited blend of emerald oolong tea (whatever that is) (he probably would no have enjoyed it, anyway).[break]

Nodding in affirmation to the choices listed by the other, she frees her hands even more, so she can give a thumbs-up each to her and her Pokémon for their choices. "Excellent, I like them - I think the fruit teas are especially good here," she remarks to the other, "but one cannot go wrong with a classic Earl Grey, too." After that, she is finally beginning to properly pick up the drinks she ordered, packing three into her backpack, putting two into a tote bag and keeping one to drink directly. With a pop, the thin plastic is pierced through and she slurps up the first popping bubbles. "Do you come here often, Miss?"

The Mawile, left alone to the side compared to many others, it would never have quite expected to gain company like this - but when there is suddenly an excited-looking Eevee in front of him, it's only left to decide whether such a thing is to be celebrated or not. After all, maybe, distraction is the answer to everything ... but then again, it isn't like his worries would disappear so soon just because he tries not to think about them.[break]

Still, the knightly figure offers a gentle smile to the Eeevee, patting the space next to him, if he so wishes to sit down next to him. "Oh, why - hello there, young fellow, I hope you have been well," Doireann tries not to let his emotions show as much again, but - still, another sigh is escaping.

The Nacli is acting a little out of order for a wild Pokémon, but then again, it isn't like Chrysanthe would actually find it an issue of much any concern. Instead, there is curiosity that makes her follow the other wilfully, without resistance, interested to see where this would go to. A true champion of carefree behaviour, only ever following her own nose ...[break]

But the face she is greeted with, there is something she expected - as much as did not. Face morphed to surprise, then to a softer expression as she sees the familiar (slightly unfamiliar - she looks a bit different from usual) face of her sister. Letting the Munna float in the air, Chrysanthe is quick to lunge forward to hug the elder, a calmer expression on her face than the shivering of her body indicates. "Woah! I've been looking for you everywhere!"

Looking at what the stranger has been looking at, her curious gaze drifts over the wide gash on the ground. It doesn't tell her much anything at all, though, only tilting her head more in question over the question that occurs. Why wouldn't she be here, though? Or is she missing something? Hmmm ... but she doesn't think so, expression confused as she exchanges a look with the floating Munna.[break]

"Dangerous? I don't think I saw anything on my way ... What do you mean dangerous?" Chrysanthe voices after a while, trying to think of what she might have seen on the way. It seems apparent that she remains quite oblivious to the strange phenomena that are plaguing Hoenn in this moment - entirely missing the unusual glow in the faint distance ...

Doireann is sighing out lengthily after waving Chrysanthe goodbye, to wherever she may be off to this time, but within safe-enough confinements that he doesn't have to worry as much about her as he would normally do. Having her as a trainer is both wonderful and quite worrisome. But, well, he guesses he can be grateful that he isn't the only one looking out for her?[break]

Taking a walk feels like one of the very few remaining respites from her usual daily life. One of the few things that she always enjoyed alone, so the absence of her father or one of her sisters isn't falling too heavily into this. But ... still ... as she looks around in this oh-so familiar, and oh-so unfamiliar space, she wonders: What really did change, though? Isn't everything just as peaceful as ...[break]

Leaving the Munna to float beside her, she is holding one of her 'reserve' bubble teas in hand, sipping quietly as she walks around. Chrysanthe isn't quite sure anymore if she actually has been to these parts before - they feel ... darker, somehow, like she is trespassing into a dark one's territory. But she doesn't want to go home just yet ...[break]

Just as that thought flashes in her mind, she notices another's presence, approaching curiously. The stranger seems to be ... investigating something? "What are you doing?"

Happily sipping on today's chosen treat of watermelon mint fruit tea with popping peach boba, a little ice, medium sugar, she hums contently. Although the experience at Sea Mauville has left some lasting (forgotten, already) memories of the recent past, she hasn't actually expected Noah to follow up on his promise to get her boba.[break]

But, here they are.[break]

"It's really a good place! I gotta come here more often," she agrees with the other. Maybe she can even bring her mother with her? Even though she doesn't really like boba that much ... With the Munna resting idly on her lap, Chrysanthe thinks about the question posed - and her memories speak only of a fairytale-like experience. "Hmm ... because it's a lost castle? Did you ever find the evil wizard?"

Still fussing over how she could best transport those back home, she is on the verge of resigning to the dreadful fate of having to consume three instead of one bubble tea right away, and taking only three back home instead of the imagined five. Oh, well, but sacrifices are necessary in the most dire situations, right? So, Chrysanthe picks a straw as she notices the lady next to her, who seems to have spoken to her. Tilting her head curiously over to the other in surprise, she looks briefly over what she can see from her order.[break]
[break]
But 'knight' makes her think of Noah, and he definitely ordered one with the black bubble pearls, too! "I think the brown sugar kind suits knights just fine, they gotta replenish that sugar," she nods with confidence that nobody really knows where it comes from, when she thinks of something - speaking of knights, a-ha! Releasing the Mawile from his Pokéball, she quickly gives him two bubble teas to hold, and takes the remaining one from the counter. "But there really is no magic, you just gotta order by ear, Miss! What did you order again?"

Getting bubble tea is a daily routine - no, actually, a half-daily routine, a routine that happens around every half day. A routine that happens at least twice a day, so to say. But lately ... lately, Chrysanthe finds that it becomes a little hard to follow that routine strictly again. She only happens to be in Rustboro City, finding a quaint little bubble tea store, and decides to plan ahead and get six bubble teas at once. Just, well, for any case. Emergencies. And things. She definitely won't be drinking them all today. ... Probably.[break]
[break]
Sitting around as she checks her phone, the Munna in her arms as usual, the young girl doesn't notice much of her surroundings - only waits patiently for her order to be called up as - six large bubble teas are placed on the counter and the shop clerk (are they also called baristas? Hmm ...) calls out, "uh ... for ... Princess Chrysanthe? Ey, is that right-" They hush to their colleague who only shrugs as Chrysanthe approaches the counter confidently. How will she even bring them all home?[break]

"I believe those are for me, thank you!" she doesn't quite worry and rather gives the other colleagues a smile. But as confidence comes, in her smaller totebag fit three at most, and even if she drinks one, there are two more ...

To be honest, there have been ... moments of dissociation following the events at Sea Mauville, but she doesn't think ill of it too much - in fact, she doesn't think about it at all, if not for the connections she made through that event. There is worry about the lost castle, for sure, but if she thinks too deeply about it, she ... simply falls asleep. There is nothing for her to worry about, after all.[break]

What does concern her, however, is the sudden move towards the coastal areas of Petalburg City, and also the fact that she doesn't see Cassandra as often anymore. In fact, she hasn't seen her in over a couple of days. It doesn't worry her, though. Only makes her a little sleepy. She slept an awful lot throughout the last days, now that she thinks about it ... but she stops thinking here, feeling a nudge. Today is a day for a walk! Maybe? Chrysanthe can only muse, bringing out the Mawile and Munna as she leaves the empty house.[break]

Outside, there isn't too much notable - it seems even more desolated than she can remember from her quiet childhood days, when they came here before - there is something uncomfortable in the air that she doesn't sense, and there is a ... a Nacli? Huh? Looking around to see if there is any trainer, Chrysanthe isn't successful. Carefully, she approaches the Pokémon that seems a lot more familiar and a lot more friendly than normal wild ones. "Hello there - are you lost?" she wonders out loud; words that are carried by the winds, amplified by the brilliance of the unwavering sea.

The 'surprise' came a little bit out of the sapphire blue, she has to say, but it's nothing that she would refuse, per se - after all, she trusts her mother, and doesn't see a reason why that shouldn't be this case. Chrysanthe might not have any idea what is going on, but from the relaxed Munna on her lap, she can further sense and confirm that nothing bad is happening. Nothing bad would ever happen, actually ... and today would be no different.[break]

Curious when the SUV comes to a halt, she waits patiently until she hears the door of the passenger's seat being opened - willingly putting a hand into her mother's palm as she carefully gets out, leaving the Munna to float alongside for once. "I wonder where we are going," she hums with a smile. It ... sounds busy, to say the very least, but that is the only clue she can get off of.[break]

And then, it all happens at once.[break]

Chrysanthe first doesn't notice the blindfold falling - and then, there is so much to take in. The background of the busy Renaissance Fair, the hustle and bustle of such a place, and the Rapidashes standing in front - the knight atop of one, and the riderless Galarian one. Then - words - astonished, and flabbergasted, and - and - and - and - utterly excited. "Eeeee!" the young girl exclaims first, a hand in front of her mouth as she gasps, looking back and forth between the knight - he called her princess! - and her mother. Shyness isn't normally a problem for Chrysanthe, but there is still some hesitation until she goes with the flow, the happiest smile on her face as she notices how the Purrseus is also dressed for the occasion. "It is an honour to meet you, Sir Donahue The Grey," she does a curtsey, though rather than accepting the crown from the knight, she politely takes it and gives the crown to her mother, a huge smile in place. "Can you crown me? Do you think we both fit on the Rapidash together?"
