Arabella hasn't ever been interesting in bug Pokémon. So, whilst she had seen many kinds in the dumpsters of Dustboro, even living away in holes around the abandoned buildings she frequently squat in; it was still hard to get excited for them. Her Pokémon on the other hand were a different story, a small factoid about rodents in general would show they do eat some invertebrates--beetles being one of them. Ensuring the survival rate of these bug Pokémon would just mean less money spent on finding food for her army of furr babies.[break][break]

At the same time she came around to picking up such a request she couldn't help but notice another cutie signing up for it too. What was his name again...? Silvero? Silvio? Silverio? Contrary to his name, him being tall dark and handsome was just the motivation she needed to show up... [break][break]

It wasn't dark yet, but hell was it approaching fast, and it was for that reason she was barreling down the street on her motorcycle, pumping that gas to race against time of all things. To her surprise though, she wasn't expecting her partner to be waiting over at the city entrance, the sounds of her tires screeching down the road and into gravel as she sped past him a couple feet away was one of many things he heard as she past by.[break][break]

"Ah, shit!"[break][break]

still she wasn't the type that didn't try to play it cool, and in one fluid movement she'd swing herself off the bike and lean against it. "Hey baby, want a ride?" she'd casually say, throwing him two finger guns while her eyes were obviously distracted looking down at the tires of her ride to make sure she didn't cause any sort of damage. This was one of her babies after all.[break][break]

Thank god it's sunny today.[break][break]

The very thought of it suddenly start raining while her poor motorcycle is left on the side WITHOUT any covers is more than enough to bring a tear to her eye. She slaved away at that baby and if something were to happen to it, surely she wouldn't know how to deal with herself.. Then again she'd probably try to pick up jobs like she is now.[break][break]

The noble cause of being a ranger didn't really appeal to her, as such it wouldn't be surprising for to make assumptions himself. Especially when the first scene he had with her was leaning against a wall, papers nonchalantly in her hands and her green armband half tucked into her pocket. Then again the lack of respect towards the very things given to her by the rangers may have come second to the fake Alolan Rattatta ear accessories and a metal tipped whip on her waistband to act like a tail.[break][break]

"Yo'-- Oh. You're way hotter than I thought you'd look like." Those were her first words, before kicking off the wall with another quick follow up, "I don't know why, but I thought you'd be like.. super old."[break][break]

Her movement was super fluid, as if she was using the slight momentum from pushing away from the wall to make her way over towards him, her thumbs loosely hooked on the loops attached to her jacket. She was obviously checking him out, even swooping her upper body down like an animal checking out its next meal.[break][break]

"You can't be older than like.. what? 22? 23? How long have you been a ranger?"

MOTIVATIONS


FOOD: There are 3 things a human needs to live; food, water and shelter. Any person with half a brain could find a fountain, or a public bathroom to get access to water, and as for shelter-- you'd be surprised by the number of abandoned bases left around Hoenn. As long as you don't mind the random Pokémon snuggling up, or in worse cases jumping you. They're pretty cozy.. but as for food. That one is a bit harder.
You need money, and ironically you need to spend money to make money. Pretty backwards, right? That means any source of free food, is the best food there is, be it left overs hand-me-downs, those too good mew-two go discounts. Where there is food offered, you'd best be damned Bella will be there to take it.

MONEY: It's to no-one's surprise that the world runs on money --more than might, more than honor. Arabella is by no means cheap, but she does have a price when it comes to her loyalty. It isn't hard to pay her to look the other way, or to rope her into some ludicrous job if you throw some cash at her. Even without a home she finds herself bleeding money into food for herself, her Pokémon and then her motorcycle. With the amount of money she wastes away now, she could hardly image what it's like for the people WITH homes..
truly we're all slaves to the corporations.

LOVE: If life is a constant battlefield between organizations, freak disasters and the never-ending struggle to survive; why don't you just let go and live a little. By no means does she want to settle down, there are far too many cuties and hoties in the world to bend yourself to a single person, but to be loved and feel love for a fleeting moment is more than enough for her. It's a game some days, especially the brooding kinds; nothing activates those neurons like crumbling away those walls and biting down into their tender side. It really makes you feel like you won something, earned something, and truly feel satisfied before you go to the next game.
Better yet, the next treat.
