"O-ow!" A sharp huff of pain came from the girl as, in the midst of her search, she tripped over something small, yet, incredibly hard. Looking down, a larvitar glowered up at her with a sharp expression. "You! You're what I'm looking-" Words of excitement were abruptly cut off in a whirl of danger. In that very moment, sharp stones jutted from the ground. Had the pinkette's senses not urged her to move, she'd very likely be skewered about on its stone edge.

"argos!" she immediately called out for the massive shelled pokemon. in that moment, the turtle appeared, crushing the stony pillars as his heavy, armored body fell onto them. understanding the situation immediately, the canons within his shell revealed themselves as they pointed down onto the tiny pokemon. "hydro pump," the command was met with movement, as a torrent of water doused the larvitar.

the move was incredibly effective, and the force sent it flying back into a tree. "and now-!" following after it, a safari ball was thrown, and the sphere tapped onto the pokemon's head before sucking it inside. 

The sudden appearance of the other trainer made the pinkette jump - the greenhouse's owner had already yelled at her earlier for breaking so many pots. About to apologize profoundly, she paused when she noticed it wasn't a furious face, but, a helping hand. "Oh! Uh, sure - thanks!" She scrambled to thank him for his sudden help, staring down at the scattered pieces for a moment before back at him. "They're pretty sharp so, don't cut yourself!" She quickly warned with a little frown. The sight of blood always did make her queasy. Seriously, if he ended up cutting himself...ugh, she was internally gagging at the thought of it.

"I'm...kinda poor at the moment because I spent all my money on food, so I...don't really have anything to pay you with, if that's what your looking for. Unless you want like...a hug? I can give you that - I can give you two of them, in fact." She began to ramble on, and on, as she dumped the collected pieces into the trashcan. Notice, she didn't offer to share any of that food she'd bought with him. That was a privilege that very few got - food, for her, was very important after all.

"oh-!?" lips pursed into a shocked expression as a slightly glazed over expression stared at the other woman. rosy cheeks influenced by both the extremely hot water and alcohol gave away the woman's otherwise intoxicated state. noelle wasn't exactly a lightweight, but, she did have...phases to being drunk. some significantly worse than others.

what had started as a normal, relaxing soak in the hot spring quickly changed the moment the pinkette introduced a few bottles of deliciously potent alcohol. against the few warnings from her friend, she'd already downed near half a bottle, leading to her current state.

"...when did your boobs get so big, bry?! you got....yoouuu got...big boobies!" explicitly blunt and a giggling mess, the water stirred and rippled as noelle neared her companion with grabby hands and a dopey smile. "w-who are ya trying to impress, hmmm?" 

"Sto-" A sharp breath was taken in, "stop pulling my hair," her grumble was filled with irritation as she looked over at the man from over her shoulder. babysitting a drunk mateo wasn't nearly as fun as she thought it'd be. and after he'd gotten them both kicked out from the beach bar, it was up to her to bring him back to his room. yeah, not fun.

in a none too gentle manner, she dumped his body onto the bed, sitting on the edge of it with a relieved sigh. "hey, hey...? Did you finally pass out?" truth be told, she was a bit terrified to leave him on his lonesome while like this. but...as his soon-to-be wife, dealing with things like this was her responsibility, right? even if it was incredibly tempting to just...knock him out so he'd go to sleep. 

the bushes parted as she searched them, only to find some weird...bird thing. it had a nice smell; a really nice smell! but...it wasn't what she was looking for. "uhm, sorry, just go back to doing your thing," noelle waved the pokemon off. it seemed to, for whatever reason though, take a liking to the girl. even as the pinkette began to search elsewhere, that little perfume bird kept on following her. "uhm...no, seriously, i don't want-" big, bug eyes stared up at her, and for a moment, she couldn't help but wonder if this was what mateo felt like.

....hah, of course not! he was always happy to have her tailing after him, certainly!

"look you're...nice. and cute. and pink. but, i...this isn't gonna work out." noelle tried to awkwardly explain. with a sudden scornful and dejected look though, the fairy type eventually waltzed off, leaving the trainer a bit guilty, if not intimidated. hopefully, she wouldn't wake up to it standing murderously over her. 

"you and me, we got this, right, nero?" squatted down to be on the same eye level as the dark dragon, he gave a firm nod. settled onto the large, open area of the training grounds provided to them, the duo faced off against a close friend of her's; adam. it wasn't often that noelle practiced battling with another person. but, what better training partner than a 'pokemon master' himself? not to mention, a bit of extra experience and training for nero was always needed. while the little dragon was getting better, and she certainly felt closer to him, there was still something...missing. he was getting better as a person-er, pokemon too! sorta. he was less of an ass, definitely. the amount of times he bit her per week was decreasing, which was a plus in her book!

petting him on the head a few times, much to the dragon's dismay due to wanting to look 'cool' in front of the other trainer, noelle waved.

"okay adam, ready when you are! don't hold back!...well, don't...go all out because that'd just be unfair but like...like..." she puffed her cheeks out slightly, "don't take me lightly!"

peach, her chansey, stood on the sidelines, looking as nervous and not with it as per usual. but, just in case things got a bit...chaotic thanks to a certain bad-tempered and destructive dragon, and his trainer, being out there battling, she was a more than capable healer. even when sparring, it seemed that people from that family tended to be so darn...

destructive.

"ack - it died again?! no way..."

the pinkette huffed slightly, staring at the wilted plant before her with a disgruntled look. taking care of dragons hundreds of years old seemed far easier than this...seriously, how did people do this for a living? it wasn't as though a plant could just tell you when something was wrong. sure, maybe dumping a gallon of water onto it wasn't a good idea. and yes, maybe mixing in some 'machamp protein power' into the soil really wouldn't help it grow stronger. but it really shouldn't have been this hard to grow a single plant.

picking up one of the pots to, once again, start over, a sharp 'eep' came from the dragon tamer's lips as she stumbled over a left out water hose. with a loud clang, the pot dropped from her hands, sending shards scattering everywhere. cue a very loud whine from her; "oh come on!"

"eh...? why're you....uh, we're about to close soon, lady. maybe you should just wait for next we-"

"no, no, i know, i'm super late but i'm here! i'm ready! just-here!" the pinkette protested. after practically throwing her money at the unconvinced warden, she dashed into the safari zone, leaving a literal trail of wind behind her. she had only a little bit of time left, she had to make this count. ugh, why did she always have to wait so late on these things?

"okay okay...aha! in there, in there!" with a cheeky grin, she pointed towards the rustling bushes, heading towards them.

she eventually called out one of her pokemon to try and aid in fishing. having her dragonair stick its tail into the water in hopes that one of the dumb fish would mistake the shining orbs as a beckon or food, maybe she'd actually catch something worth her while.
