He stands up and salutes to him "I'll see you after we win then, Zev. Stay safe in the war ok? Can't lose my favorite person to work with." he says as it a surprising moment. Bryan smiles, it felt good to confide in Zev his thoughts. He grew to care for the man more than the typical co-workers he had. [break][break]

"After the war, let's go for a drink." he says with a warm smile as he drops the salute and turns around and slowly walks out the door.

"NO!!! XERNEAS." He screams as the tree withers in his very grasp. Audino continues to try and pour more energy into the tree but bryan places a hand on it's shoulder. It was pointless. "Calryex! PLEASE SPARE HIM." he cries out but the creature replies fall upon deaf ears. [break][break]

He pleads with xerneas but knows he has to act. "If you're gonna die. Then I'm staying here until the end. You won't die alone. I'll be right back. Please wait for me." he says with a deep despair in his voice as the water starts to rise enough that it lifts him away from xerneas. He knew who was responsible for his chosen's death. It was rocket, however the one who dealt the final blow..[break][break]

Gwyar Wledig. [break][break]

He swims over to the tree, grabbing onto a nearby branch alongside his audino to ensure he had solid footing. He growls his teeth and gives audino it's next set of orders. " Mega Audino. Dazzling gleam, attack all the nearby enemy league forces" he tells it. He then picks up the creature tosses it into the air it absorbs some of the light in the area and unleashes a DAZZLING GLEAM. [break][break]

As things stood, he had no idea what he could really do. He didn't want to rip branches off of the tree to throw them cause then Xerneas would pointlessly suffer more. He clenches his fist. If only he still had all of his abilities, he could have manipulate the dynatre. A pit forms in his stomach, his failures haunting him. He would make this right himself. He notices Adrian Malcolm nearby, his sygnasuit..despite having lost his patron he was still able to do so much. [break][break]

He feels Howard become bolder suddenly. He liked it. [break][break]

A gleam returns to his eyes when howard presents such a question, a fire being re-ignited in his soul. "I'll be whatever I need to be to get what I want." he responds "A sword, a shield, a gun, a healer." he says keeping his eyes lock on him and not moving away when howard gripped his face.[break][break]

"Are you going to give me what I want, Howard?" he asks him, remaining still and unphased and letting Howard decide what to say next. His red eyes attempting to burn a hole right through the man.

"Nahhhh he doesn't bother me." he says as Bryan relax a bit and looks back towards zev as he puts his hands behind his head. "Just something about him seems...off...Doesn't it?" he asks him. [break][break]

"Gives me the heebie jeebies. Like he has an ulterior motive and it isn't really towards helping us.." he says.[break][break]

"But meh, it's just all speculation. I've been wrong before but that's why I wanted to hear your thoughts. At the end of the day you're right, I can't argue with the results he provides. Maybe it's cause I see him as an outsider is all, you know how I am. I don't trust easily." He says as zev was one of the few people he trusted, their recent encounter ensuring him of such a thing as zev could have very well killed him had he felt like it and none of the higher ups might've bat an eye.

Horror of the realization fills his mind, just as he realizes that the tree is dying trying to defend the dynamax tree. A steel beam from Gwyar Wledig pierces his shoulder. The blood from the wound filling the water around him. He whips around to look at the one who shot it at him and spots gwyar with a sygnasuit. [break][break]

He had two choices, revenge for that strike or saving xerneas. How ironic, a choice like this was the very reason xerneas had left him. He's paralyzed by the choice of satisfying his bloodlust or defend against an onslaught. @howard's words fill his mind "Will you be a sword or a shield?"[break][break]

"I will be what I need to be." he says as he instead recalls his SILVALLY into it's pokeball. He gives Gwyar Wledig the bird with his middle finger and continues to swim towards the tree. The water continued to rise, it was high enough that he was able to stand on the top of it. [break][break]

With each passing second it's vitality continue to drain. He tries to pour his own energy into the tree but it was hopeless, his blessing was gone. As his blood drips onto the tree and washes away he whispers to it "Please, Xerneas, I beg you wake up. Please I dont want you to die because of me. I don't want us to go our separate ways because I was a fool." he says as the stream of blood slips down his arm and onto the tree.[break][break]

"Don't sacrifice yourself for this war, that's the lesson you wanted to impart on me wasn't it? It doesn't need to be this way..." he says as suddenly he realizes what he must do. He rises resolute, a fierce deterimation fills his mind and he goes on comms specifically to jayden cross . "I am going to be defending this tree with my life, Beast wolf is requesting back up at the petrified tree of xerneas. Admin Jayden, can you create weapons for me to throw at the enemy to fight from a distance? I am going to provide more infinity energy to the tree." as he pulls out one of his pokeballs. [break][break]

His old friend was going to be helping him today, his audino that has been with him since the very start of his journey, his nurse, his caring figure. He pats her head and rubs it as she MEGA EVOLVES "Mega audino, please use your heal pulse and provide xerneas with as much energy as you can." he asks as it nods in response with it's amber eyes and starts to feed xerneas energy. He has no idea how well this would work since it was submerged but at least he gave it a fighting chance to wake up. [break][break]

"ALL ROCKETS ON THE TREES, WE CANNOT LET OUR DEFENSE FALL. KILL KYGORE AND END THIS RAIN."[break][break]

That vision plagues his mind, the one he saw thanks to Yuina Higashi's meddling with that strange pokemon. "Xerneas, I'm coming. Just hold on alright?" he whispers to himself as he gets close enough to the city to see the water rising.

He flies in on a rocket ride charizard but immediately becomes shocked at the sight he sees in front of him. "NO!" he screams as he realizes the tree is starting to become submerged. He's dropped off at C-4 and rushes to the edge of the platform he was on, gripping the railing hard enough to crack the metal. The whole city would flood at this rate, the trees would both die. [break][break]

His fist grips the railing enough to break it and Bryan sees the league defending the creature. Of course they would, they'd rather protect this savage pokemon than put a stop to this madness. [break][break]

"SILVALLY!" he yells as he sends out one of his star pokemon that was found at the start of his journey. "HEAL BLOCK KYOGRE." His savage nature starts to take hold jayden cross 's chien pao slowly influencing him from even this distance as he becomes victim to the influences of the ruinous creature. The silvally leaps into the air and unleashes a BLACK LIGHT from it's body as it attempts to CURSE KYOGRE WITH AN INABILITY TO HEAL [break][break]

He sharpens the metal railing, by rubbing the edges against one another to sharpen it into a weapon. He was GOING to save xerneas, there was no other option for him. However, given everything that had happen to him since they split, he did it not out of his own survival in life but because he realized now how much the creature cared for him. [break][break]

But that does little to stop the current situation. He cranks back his arm and uses all of the force in his body to throw it at the creature. Regardless of what happens with his attack he looks back towards the water and dives in, swimming towards the fading tree of light. "XERNEAS!!" he yells trying to wake it up "PLEASE! WAKE UP!! WE NEED TO GO!" he screams and pleads [break][break]

"And I'll probably always will be..." he says as he realizes how close he got to Howard and his face turns a slight bit red for some reason. He quickly releases his grip and turns away from howard as he lights a cigarette. [break][break]

"Anyways. Killing a god? Really? That's your ultimate goal?" he asks him trying to move the conversation along. [break][break]

He mulls it over a bit "Fine. I'll help." he says as bryan crosses his arms "Apparently if we leave you alone too long you go and break like porcelein. Can't let the league think our upper brass are so vulnerable. I'm in charge of your security detail now." he declares as if Howard was not above him in status. However, the idea of killing a god, that was...interesting. If he could kill a god could that mean he could stave off death longer? Maybe claim the favor of another pokemon? He opened and closed his fist, his situation was strange but if Howard was so hungry to pursue his ideal world...[break][break]

Chu-e Choi and oscar clayton both gave their bodies and were given a super cancer as a result for it and what did they end up with? He crosses his arm "You're really not fucking understanding the problem with Xerneas do you? You keep ignoring it." [break][break]

He walks over to Howard, all of his force in each step cracking the floor tile and grabs the man's arm and starts to apply pressure. "You see this?" he says shoving the scars on the man's hand in his face "THIS is what makes you human, THIS is what keeps you sane. PAIN." as he start to try and squeeze his arm. [break][break]

"The more you escape this pain the more detached and apathetic you become, the more you stop caring, that was his entire fucking lesson to me. You lose meaning in EVERYTHING." he growls before releasing him. [break] [break]

"If you think you can handle something like that, then go talk to him yourself. I'm sure he's listening. Go ruin your life for all I care. It certainly ruined mine." [break][break]

However he smirks a bit "This is also what you get for being a dickhead when I was upset."

"What do you need done at mossdeep besides just winning the war? is there anything to secure? Anything to specifically destroy?" he also asks further to see just how much thought zev was putting into their strategy. Knowing walsh, there was probably something at mossdeep he needed and wasn't the most forth coming about it

"No. I don't think I really ever did fully know him. But I think that's exactly what he wanted." he tells him.[break][break]

"He lived for so long, saw so many things, could ANYONE really know Xerneas on a personal level? Probably only yvetal." he says "It's already hard enough to understand someone, humans, who've lived one life time, now imagine trying to understand thousands of them." he says as he doesn't exactly answer him. Xerneas was a confusing creature but he knew that he cared for Bryan. Allegedly that's why it removed his blessing from him, to save him "The healing comes at a cost, no you don't. That pain you're feeling is a lesson."

The fact that he was no longer an avatar was spat into his face so suddenly. [break][break]

It stung, salt in a spiritual wound that Xerneas could have healed. Ironic. [break][break]

"Typically in the chat I asked to stay and defend the tree, but knowing that we're making a power move to grab petalburg..." he says as he mulls it over "I'd rather go to mossdeep." he tells him. He frowns, however the ends of his lips turn upwards to a small smile. He knew he didn't have a chance with Priam again, but that didn't stop his heart from yearning for him, waiting on his every breath to look at him again. [break][break]

He sighs. "Thanks at least for trying. Let's just get out of here. It's obvious he doesn't want to be bothered and im pretty sure even if we did try to contact him he wouldn't answer me." he tells Priam.

Bryan gets pissed off easily and decides to rip off some of the marble in the flooring with his sheer strength to the shock and protests of some of the people watching the match and throws it at the screamtail. [break][break]

The brute bonnet is slammed by the PLAY ROUGH the fae energy within it's attacks wrecking havoc on the poor dark type mushroom. [break][break]

However a momentary peace was established as a massive rock was thrown at the creature from Bryan. Brute bonnet takes the opportunity to jump back wards and preps a SUCKER PUNCH
