"nice smile," she comments innocently, as if she can be both sides of the coin. really, she's just seeing which gives her a better shot at taking that suit off but oh well.

whatever innocence she had been trying for fades as quickly as it comes. replaced with a smirk and the abuse of lacking space, she presses closer into his arm. leather rubs against fabric and she's pointedly aiming for a reaction by now. "no mix-up," she retorts, a laugh following. "you just seem worthy of a nickname all your own." maybe casanova isn't it, though. she'll keep trying until she finds the right one. "unless you'd prefer playboy?" the second at the top of a long list. eventually one will stick. she doesn't bother to try again, however, as he's taking his time mulling over a decision and the one that comes is in uncharted territory. halfway between yes and no, stuck in a maybe. in fact, everything about the way he doesn't push her away settles in that delicious gray area. "a lot can happen on a long journey," she supplies. her mind's already offering up plenty of options to pass the time. enough to make her purr but not enough to voice them.

she makes no effort to shift away from him. instead, she'll press her luck, press whatever buttons she's able to. the brush of a hip, the light and slight wandering of hands on an arm. he leads and she follows as is the game she's decided she'd like to play with him for quite a long time.

[attr="class","giada i"]okay, maybe it's a good idea to tuck the cute little mudkip into a ball now. or, better yet, simply allow it to sleep on the wood beside her instead. yeah... nice! she's careful in placing the slumbering baby down, as if it'll wake with the slightest of movements. and really, it's a good thing she moved it...

abner's catching her wrist without warning, causing her head to snap up, eyes to drag away from the mudkip to focus solely on him. there's a pause in her, a brief moment of surprise before she's grinning from ear to ear. took him long enough, she muses. her body is only able to press against him for a moment before he's gripping her thighs, hauling her up and guiding her legs around his waist. she crosses them at the ankles, arms already shifting to snake around his neck.

"you and i both know i don't sing," she murmurs. her eyes search his for a moment. for what, she isn't sure. and then, she's leaning to drag her lips against his ear, teeth grazing skin. "i scream." it's purred out as a whisper before she's pressing closer, squeezing thighs tighter around his waist.

while they do their usual routine, a feebas surfaces to the commotion. it's met with a skitty who, by all accounts, looks positively delighted to see another fish. the pink cat is quick to use another melody, another round of sing to lull the feebas into slumber. and only when it's peacefully snoring does she dart away to return with a pokeball from her trainer's belongings. she bats the ball around for a moment with a skilled paw before pushing it closer and closer to the feebas. it disappears in a flash of light, a blissful mewl following soon after.

[attr="class","giada i"]a shame, really, that the grunts come when they do. she's curious about what he'd say otherwise. oh well, no matter! the job is done and there's only treasure left. of course, he causes her hands to still before she can brush a gloved hand against any of the glittering objects. she doesn't bother to hide her amusement, however, when her head turns away from jewels and trinkets to find his eyes. and while the promise of a share is delightful, she's more focused on the second comment.

"i could keep them to you instead," comes naturally, quickly, without much remorse. the matching wink, however? now that is probably overkill but she's hooked on this little game. so much so that she finds herself drifting away from the trinkets to join him again. there's little space she allows, although whether it's purposeful or subconscious doesn't matter for her.

a brush of leather against a suit and she's grinning. pokemon are recalled, his first and then hers. the grunts have the rest handled... does this mean she gets to occupy his time a little more? oooh, the trip back will be fun. he knows her answer, for the most part, but she still supplies it anyway. "bring us home, casanova!" if he'll allow her, she'll snake her arm around his without hesitation. hold him close, sink her claws in. and as if to press her luck further, she's leaning her upper half into his orbit, voice dropping to a whisper. "are you gonna give me the honor of taking you out, now?" for drinks or more, whichever works. anything to mess up that three piece he wears so well.

[attr="class","giada i"]hands off meets hands on and the result is surprisingly working well. where he allows his pokemon to clear a path for him, she's chasing the thrill of a fight until there's nothing left to take. another wild charge happens to her side, although she doesn't bother to look to see if it's her own luxray or his sylveon.

realistically, she shouldn't be grinning wider with each body that falls but... well, can you blame her? something about bringing men to their knees with the crack of a whip just sends her into a frenzy. like a shark that smells blood in the water, she's relentless. perhaps a little too focused on her own fight to pay much attention to the pirate trying to slice through marcel. eventually she'll turn to take a peek at his progress when the familiar sound of a body thudding resonates close by.

one final round of wild charge and night daze finishes off the stragglers. or, better yet, those who have yet to run with their tails tucked between legs. she doesn't wait for them to return to her side. instead, she'll saunter back to marcel in time for him to snag rope for her. the expression she wears is almost delightful when it's offered to take. "gladly," she purrs. intricate knots are used as overkill or as a personal little marker of her own touch. either way, she's winking in the bossman's direction as she goes. "tied up men, my favorite." there's a little bit of "this could be you but you playin" in the look she gives marcel.

and while he busies himself with the task of securing backup, she's abandoning the newly tied pirates in favor of joining her pokemon by the stolen treasure. oooh, are those jewels? it's all so shiny even in the dim lighting of the cave. man, what's a girl gotta do to get this kind of loot? a lot, perhaps, but man is she willing.

[attr="class","giada i"]and in the final hour, the final run of the woods, she sees something that definitely catches her eye. a gem, red and pretty and absolutely shining. it glistens in the moonlight, drawing her in like a beacon.

and while it's attached to something, that's even better than just the gem.

her grin is wide when she pushes through foliage to find a persian. the large house cat is distracted by grooming when she first approaches but upon hearing the faint click of heels, it drags its head up and away from already pristine fur. "well, helllo there," she purrs and the persian looks confused for a moment. as if it's not sure why this random lady is even approaching. and then, it slowly rises to approach her.

it sniffs her ankles first and by the time it settles again, her zorua is approaching the two. her eyes shift to the small fox for a moment and then back to the persian. and while she really doesn't want to hurt such a pretty creature, she knows enough about the kanto originated pokemon to know it wouldn't come willingly. "night daze," she whispers and the illusion pokemon at her side follows suit. a black burst of energy leaves malizia's mouth with every intention of striking the persian while it's distracted by giada.

only when she's sure the attack has hit its mark does she toss a pokeball. time to add to her cat lady gang!

[attr="class","giada i"]the scolding does little to deter her. in fact, she's almost letting out another purr in response. does she inform him that yes, she does very much enjoy that tone, especially when he's saying her name? no, best to not poke at him further. "fine," she feigns a pout though it doesn't linger for long. "but that offer for more is still on the table for after, casanova." somehow, she has an inkling that he won't take her up on it but a girl can dream, right?

besides, she has a few ideas for that tie of his.

giada follows behind him without hesitation, as if he should always be the one in control. her luxray sticks close to her heels although the same can not be said for the zorua. she's more... adventurous than the larger cat. the world is her oyster and all that jazz. the thief doesn't pay it much mind, instead ushering her along with a snap of her fingers. as marcel had reminded her, they have a job to do first. exploring can come after they secure what's rightfully theirs.

a smirk slides into place when they reach their destination. so many pirates guarding treasure that doesn't belong to them and yet, all she sees are bodies to smack around. this should be fun! his warning falls on half-listening ears and while she'd love to ignore the last part, she's not trying to get on her favorite boss's bad side just yet. "you got it, bossman." a whip is pulled from her waist but she doesn't crack it against rock just yet.

instead, she'll allow him the honors of the grand entrance. and then, when his pokemon shift into action does she spring out herself. the whip is already lashing out toward the nearest pirate while her luxray follows suit with wild charge. the zorua prefers sneakier methods, darting around in darkness before night daze finds a target.

[attr="class","giada i"]"oh?" she grins over his shoulder, filing his laugh away as a sound she actually enjoys hearing. perhaps she'll be able to hear it some more when this is over... although she can list off quite a few other noises she'd love to get out of him too. "keep looking like that and that'll be hard to do." how high can hopes get? apparently very when your partner wears suits like it's his job.

she mostly keeps her hands to herself. at least, she tries her hardest. it's not exactly smiled upon to get handsy with your boss but she's accustomed to pushing whatever boundaries she can. besides, can you blame her? her hands have always had a nasty habit of wandering places they shouldn't, usually resulting in pretty jewels and trinkets. maybe he'll be the next trinket she's trying to sneak away with.

by the time they swim into the cavern's opening, she's all but leaning her entire weight into his back. her head rests on his shoulder, eyes lazily watching the shift from light into darkness. and when they come to a stop and he releases his sylveon, she's following suit with two additions of her own. the luxray from earlier reemerges from a pokeball while a zorua joins his side, a snicker escaping. their trainer mirrors the sound a moment later when marcel pipes up once more.

"quite the gentleman," she purrs, deliberately sliding away from him with slowness. heels clack against rock and it should come as no surprise that she doesn't wait for him to leave the lapras' back before she's already slinking a little further into the cave. over her shoulder she'll find his eyes, a sultry grin following. "or did you just want to get a good view? i'm happy to give you more."

[attr="class","giada i"]the cawing of a bird brings her to a stop. the fox at her side keeps going, however... darting into bushes and returning with a prize. there's a murkrow following behind the zorua, as if dark types stick together and all that cute stuff. the blonde grins, offering a teasing wave and the tilt of a head.

"made a friend?" a snicker is her only answer. and perhaps she knows what the intention really is with the way she smirks.

it takes only a moment for the murkrow to catch on yet by then it's too late. the zorua is pouncing, teeth already flashing in the moonlight. she only comes out with feathers clenched between teeth instead of skin but no matter. the crow takes the hint and hurries off, taking flight before more than just feathers are lost to the scheming fox.

"come along," she chirps and they resume their trek through the shadows. eventually, however, they'll have to leave to haunt another place. for now, though? she's simply enjoying the way the breeze brushes through her hair.

[attr="class","giada i"]the grin widens at the silence. it's cute, really, that he doesn't have a response yet. almost as cute as the laugh he releases a moment later. of course, him being her boss provides a challenge she can't pass up but... he's a masterpiece and she's merely admiring the art.

"always like this," she answers easily with a chirp. a finger rises to wag a him, paired with a wink and a saucy laugh. "but you being my boss makes a girl wanna work for it." something about a man in a suit... mmm. authoritative figures always have some extra oomph behind them and he's no exception. the time she takes to let her eyes roam him up and down is merely exaggerated for show but the interest behind it isn't. "does it bother you?" she asks a moment later, as if it's an afterthought. really, she should be more considerate but her parents weren't around to teach her manners and the streets are exactly kind to softness.

he elicits another laugh from the blonde before she's shifting to follow him with a chipper "yes, sir!" giada wouldn't necessarily mind if he didn't decide to wait but the patience he displays almost makes her a little more appreciative of his presence. he's a gentleman, she decides with a swing of a leg and the settling of hips behind his. and she's a sucker for a good gentleman.

if he allows it, she'll snake her arms around to hold onto him for the remainder of their little ride. the jingling of keys captures her attention and she's leaning into him just to get another look at the klefki that floats by. cute, she muses with a wink toward the key ring.

[attr="class","giada i"]simple enough. she likes simple... less work, more looking pretty. speaking of looking pretty, her eyes shift to watch as marcel barely misses stumbling over her luxray. it brings about a snicker from both cats. who knew he was light on his feet?

maybe it's the thrill of facing off against pirates or maybe it's that she's actually managed to snag marcel for something but she's practically purring by the time they reach the shore. of course, it only lasts for a moment.

water and cats don't exactly mix. her luxray shies away from the water's edge and she's quick to recall the pokemon, ushering a pokeball out and then away. where she manages to keep them is beyond her, really. too many zippers, not enough pockets.

marcel earns a laugh when he turns to her with a question on his lips. he's serious, this much she knows, but oh man is he setting himself up for something! "well," she begins, grin shifting into something predatory. "if you're offering... i'd love a ride." meanings get lost in translation or something like that, right?
