the night grows weary and fernando's bound to turn in for the night. his turn back toward the entrance is met with one last obstacle: a sneasel. unlike the other pokemon, he has no qualms with harming this one. its dark typing leaves it immune to his traditional approach with musharna. so, he opts for the traditional method.

"fetch."

the pyroar that comes out stalks the enemy like it would prey. rather than try and sink its claws into the nimble, smaller pokemon, it relies on a game of attrition. repeated flamethrowers burn at what's left of the pokemon's stamina. over time, the sneasel will succumb to the fury of pyroar's flames. when it tries to retreat is when the pokemon finally gives chase. burnt, tired, injured, the sneasel has no chance at escaping. it can only let out a mind curling SCREECH as the pyroar snaps it up by the neck with a well placed CRUNCH. the sharp, cold sensation of teeth against flesh warn the pokemon that any further struggle will be met with a quick demise.

"submit to a champion or die a peasant."

fernando leers down at the pokemon as it lays limp between the pyroar's jaws.

"the freedom is yours. make your choice. there's no going back."

fear is what drives the pokemon to submit. little does it know that this is just the beginning.
