as the unfezant and mothim pass one another, they get a few seconds of reprieve. that is broken by a harsh GUST from unfezant's wings.

The Togekiss is fast, but Crobat is prepared, trained, eager to respond. That slight flicker of movement is enough tell for the bat to pulse a HYPNOSIS out. It catches the Togekiss, or it will, hopefully.[break][break]

GUST proves successful, for the Mothim attempts to PROTECT a second time and fails. It tears at his wings and causes him to plummet, broken pieces of the protective barrier sparkling around his flailing body.

meanwhile, the HYPNOSIS pulses outwards and encapsulates the togekiss in its metronome. soon, it too plummets, sleep keeping it from catching itself on the wind.

a smirk plays across kings lips for a moment, and, with a finger pointed, he calls out a command.

the unfezant responds, turning its attention onto the crobat with a haughty SWAGGER.

The Togekiss and Mothim both fall- signaling their win and the NPC's loss. Perfect.[break][break]

Except for one thing--[break][break]

Crobat begins to fly erratically, chest swelling with overconfidence and SWAGGER at it falls victim to the Unfezant's ploy. The bat grows in strength, but at the cost of her mental capacity to see reason. CONFUSED, the bat begins to spiral, unsure which way is up.[break][break]
