lycanroc uses odor sleuth on the ghosts to identify them, prevent them from evading. uses taunt to distract one of the gourgeists, but enrages the trevenant and is hit by horn leech.

Their intentions lie directly with the peach tree.[break][break] Emma watches for a heartbeat as the two gourds sink their creepy vine-like arms into the earth next to the roots of the gnarled tree. It's then that the leaves of the fruit tree begin to wilt and fade away. She can almost hear it creaking and groaning in protest as if begging for help.[break][break] "You can't be in this business if you're nervous."[break][break] Emma watches as Lucille calls her Ursaring forward. The hulking bear doesn't make any moves to interact with the two ghosts, which causes Emma some degree of irritation. [break][break] "They're likely to kill the tree if we allow them to continue what they're doing. I don't know what they're using the energy for, but it likely isn't good."[break][break] Lycanroc growls, a warning sound in his throat. It's the Trevenant that looks at them, his eyes haunting and dangerous. The Gourgeists continue what they're doing, but Emma makes the first move to stop them.[break][break] "Stop them."[break][break] The werewolf lunges immediately, his eyes glinting as he uses odor sleuth to detect exactly where the ghosts are. This may help Lucille's Ursaring land his attacks as well - but for the most part, the hound uses it for his own benefit.[break][break] With a snarl, the beast lunges for the closest Gourgeist, distracting it with his taunt. The orange pumpkin pauses in his leech seed to turn towards him, looking quite anxious and unprepared for a fight.[break][break] However, before the Gourgeist could attack, the Trevenant interferes. The fury in its eyes is undeniable. It slams into the side of Lycanroc with its head, the branches act like horns, piercing his skin.
