The head scientist exited Meteor Falls with a smile on his face. With the Omanyte he was finally rounding out his collection. As of recent, he'd tracked down pokemon he could only dream of finding. Sometimes he felt as if it were too good to be true.

Carefully Lucas slid down the route's rocky terrain. It was cool to the touch. He moves onward through the route, his path lit by the receding light of the sun.

As Lucas slid down the smooth rocks a Shellgon charged towards him. His hand flew to a pokeball at his belt. In a flash of red light, a tyranitar materialized between the two. It grabbed hold of the shellgon who thrashed in defiance. Red light formed in tyranitar's mouth which was agape. After several moments it fired directly into the Shellgon. Nearby grass rippled. Still, the shellgon stood. A last-second protect preventing it from reaching death's door.

Free of the tyranitar's grasp Shellgon attempted to fight back. A hasty dragon claw collides with the dark type's hide. It dealt little. In retaliation, tyranitar crunches down upon shellgon's developing hide. Blood leaks from the bite wounds. The dragon type stumbles back. Lucas threw a ball.
