everly's life isn't anything to write home about. to her it's painfully average considering her tax bracket and where she grew up. her mom passed away when she was young due to health complications. her father took it the hardest after all, he just lost the love of his life. he checked out of life for a while. disappearing for long amounts of time, to the point where the neighbors would take care of little everly. her father would often return home after being away for a while with bruises and smelling of alcohol. it wasn't until she grew older that she began to understand the kind of life he had gotten himself into after her mom had died. her father might not have never physically abused her but it took a while to understand that neglection was a form of abuse as well. on top of that, any money that was brought into the house would be taken by her father. they barely had enough for food, her clothes were always second hand, and forget about luxuries like tv or video games.[break][break]

what kept her grounded through hardship was music. her mother loved music and she passed that love onto her only child. it was hard to really express her love for the art at home though because both everly and her father knew music linked back to her mother and her father couldn't handle that. no radio's would be played in the house. not even so much as humming or whistling was allowed.[break][break]

school was often everly's form of escape. there she could eat what she wanted, listen and play music, hang out with friends, and forget about the worries of home. that's how she lived life till bad men started coming home looking for her father. the line was drawn the moment she found that they had trashed the place searching for what they could sell to pay off her father's debt. [break][break]

the place her mother poured her love into ruined. at seventeen she packed her things, which wasn't much, and ran away from her home. with what little money she had left she planned to put as much distance between her and her old life as possible. somehow she ended up in hoenn but that's where her grand plans came to an end. [break][break]

she'd made it all the way here but she had no where to go. no one she knew. drifting. that's what she was doing until she had her own fateful encounter. call is luck or misfortune, she ended up having a run in with a rocket grunt. in exchange for helping him get out of a sticky situation he promised to lend her a hand. [break][break]

she was desperate. so she took the deal and just like he promised he lent her a hand. one that lead her joining rockets ranks. within rocket she had a rough over her head and food that was on the table. so long as she did her part. already leagues above what she grew up in or her time spent on the streets. [break][break]

now she enjoys some small form of success. she owns a music business in the mauville mall that nets her some pretty good cash. she can spend time doing what she loves, which is focusing on music. since she dropped out of high school she got her ged later and now she even owns her apartment. life is just beginning for her and she can't wait to test the limits of what she can do now that she has been giving this new opportunity.
