Legend says the reason people are given Rowlets as their companions is that an ancestor found an egg at the peak of their home while collecting flowers, seeing it as evidence that their domain was blessed.

No proof of this is tangible, aside from the Decidueye existing now. However, it is still a well-known fable in Soren's village, with very few believing otherwise.

Despite experiencing what some do firsthand, entering as a recruitee was almost exciting for him: nearly obedient to every order given to him. While his physical and mental prowess are both exceptional, the clumsiness as a child still shows up as a grunt, often lacking anything involving stealth.
