Once barely able to scrape two poke dollars together for a meal, Klaus now finds himself sitting at the top of a musical empire, a gift that keeps on giving so long as he agrees to play by the rules and keep giving of himself. The Rockets take a sizeable cut, of course, that's been the deal since the beginning, when he was little more than a boy with grand ambitions, an aspiring star, but Klaus is convinced that he can handle anything that they throw his way. [break][break] These days, Klaus enjoys fame and fortune as Ventis, prince of song, an international music sensation, a life for which Klaus ought to be thankful, but we rarely do what we ought to do. No, Klaus finds himself at odds with his public-facing persona. Finds, day by day, that his hatred for his fans grows. Insipid. Irksome. Boring. These are just a few of the words that the young star would use to describe the people that flock to his concerts and fan events, throwing money around for the chance to score a VIP ticket or a backstage pass. Of course, if you were to ask the prince of song how he feels about his fans, he'd tell you that he relies on them. That he appreciates all of their adoration and hard work (ha! hard work, as if!) That he owes everything he is to them. Talk about a scam! But what the public doesn't know can't hurt them, and he's come too far to turn back now. Gotten himself a taste of too many things that he refuses to part with: Fame. Fortune. A high-rise apartment in one of Hoenn's most expensive cities. There's no doubt in anyone's mind that he's "living the good life", and he'll do whatever it takes to keep it that way.
