Just as she laughed at the thought and, unbeknownst to him, recollection, he merely followed suit as his lips parted within the midst of a soft, albeit brief chuckle of his own. From the corner of his gaze had he eyed her once more, relieved of the disdain that ailed her so recently beforehand, before gazing forth to the namesake standing tall and solemnly before them once more.[break][break]

His hands found one another within a gentle embrace, all while their fingers tapped softly against one another in a bout of absentminded nothingness— meaningless gestures to fill the void that threatened to swallow him whole within the lapses and silences otherwise.[break][break]

”...But that’s a problem for future me, really~...” he added with another chuckle, shaking his head softly. He peered towards her a second time before long, nodding her way. ”For now, though, how about we go somewhere once we’re done here? Since we’re already out, anyway.”[break][break]

He nudged her gently.[break][break]

”’Cause much as I’d love to keep Alex company all day, I’m sure he’d understand~. …On the note of needing to catch up a lot, at least.”

there's a lot that they need to catch up on, asides from ALEXANDER STONE's tombstone, and another anniversary. though one brother was gone, there's another brother that she needs to speak with - and it's not every day where they're both free to be able to speak so unrestrained like this. [break][break]

"mhm.." she composes herself, properly, this time. it's a front of false bravado, but it's just enough for her to maintain herself. at least, until she can properly, fully, recover from the emotional aftermath and outburst. "i still need to show you around my company.." she hums, in the same way she'll chime "the same way you need to show me what you've been up to, lately." [break][break]

so she gets up, properly, fully, standing straight as if she weren't already. that's right, she can't sit in her grief, and her regret for so long. [break][break]

not when she has a chance to right a future wrong.
