His family was best described as upper middle class, they didn't really struggle for much of anything and got a lot of extra things but they weren't filthy rich. Throughout most of his life Blaine really had no idea what he wanted to do when he got older, sure training pokemon was fun and all that but he didn't really see himself becoming the kind of guy to challenge gyms and try to become the region's champion. [break][break] It wasn't until much later in his life that Blaine actually decided on what to do with his life, around the time he was set to graduate from high school Blaine decided to aim to become a detective. He wasn't able to do it right away of course and it took him years to actually get to the point he is now with his own little detective agency. [break][break] Despite having his own agency he's still the only employee in the little shop front he rents in Mauville. He's also offered his help free of charge to the league and rangers every now and then. His primary goal is to just continue taking on cases and helping out the people the best that he can.
