HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

she understands the gravity of the situation. hell, she's been living with it for months now. he's not telling her anything she doesn't know, anything she hasn't been chasing around in her head endlessly on sleepless nights for weeks.

what does she want? she wants the impossible, but she cannot give up on it. her loyalty lies to the league, to alexander, but her heart, her soul, are promised to emma. she's a woman of her word.

"i will keep her safe, alex. my loyalty to you is without question. if the time comes, i will stand at hoenn's side. but i made a promise to her, years and years ago, and i can't turn my back on her. not again."

this has no happy ending.

she's not dumb. he understands the things he tells her she's already thought of, she's already struggled over. but they are things that still need to be said to ensure that both of them understand the gravity of the situation she's placed herself in. it's a precarious position, dangerous, but not necessarily deadly, not if she makes the right choices.

but he's afraid she won't.

"she will never be safe while this remains a secret." he speaks truthfully. "you know this. be careful, freya. this could destroy everything you have built and everything you have worked towards. the last thing i want to see is your fall."

a worry still gnaws away. he swallows a breath and braces himself for the worst.
