INTRODUCTION
In the heart of the desert, a monumental shift has occurred. Giant ancient pokemon, revered as THE LOST, have risen from the sands, their colossal forms casting shadows across the endless dunes. While the desert's native wildlife remains unscathed, these ancient beings have taken it upon themselves to bring order to their domain, targeting anything they deem unnatural with relentless force.

In response to this outbreak, local explorers and archaeologists have sounded the call for aid. They seek those that are willing to confront THE LOST and restore peace to the desert. Promises of rewards and untold treasures accompany this plea, enticing trainers from far and wide.
SUMMARY
In this member-driven event, four players band together to face off against a colossal boss in the desert. Using dice rolls, players chip away at the boss's health bar, gaining beneficial modifiers from specific attacks and completing certain challenges during the battle.

The boss also rolls four times per turn, with players needing to roll a higher total to avoid damage. Even when players are hit, their attacks still contribute to reducing the boss's health. However, if the group sustains three hits, they lose the bounty. Each player is limited to one pokemon per bounty due to the restless desert conditions preventing players from swapping to another. Victory comes when the boss's health bar hits zero.
THE LOST

RULES & GUIDELINES
Participants of the BOUNTIES OF THE LOST member event will be required to follow the rules and guidelines found below:

- Every trainer is limited to ONE PARTNER POKEMON. This pokemon cannot be changed during the event. Once your character has used a certain pokemon for a (botl) thread, they're stuck with that pokemon for the duration of the event. Choose wisely.
- Only TWO CHARACTERS PER PLAYER can participate.
- You may only use ONE MOVE PER POST. Once a move has been used, you cannot use it again FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE THREAD.
- Remember that BOUNTIES FOLLOW THEIR OWN RULES. Certain battle mechanics may influence your writing and story-telling, but they will never directly affect the results of your DICE ROLLS.
- Avatar-related Legendaries CANNOT be used as partner pokemon.
- You CANNOT modify or remove MODIFIERS once they've been added to your post.
- Salac Berries CANNOT be used in Bounties.
- Defeating the boss means you'll be rewarded with TWO UNUSUAL COINS, while losers only walk away with ONE UNUSUAL COIN.
- Anyone caught CHEATING out-of-character will have their character disqualified and they will lose access to all rewards.
- You are required to TRACK YOUR CHARACTER'S PARTNER POKEMON, BOUNTIES, RESULTS, AND UNUSUAL COINS EARNED. Your trackers must be posted within this thread. You may use the template provided down below or another one of your making as long as it provides all the necessary information.
- Bounties CAN NOT DOUBLE UP AS MISSIONS.
HOW TO PLAY
- I. Find a battling partner and create a thread in Lilycove City with the (vct) tag.
- II. Both participants should make an introduction post before engaging in battle.
- III. After your first post, combat is initiated and you'll be required to add a dice roll to each post. When using gimmicks, be sure to include what gimmick you're using and how it modifies your dice roll. If your dice roll has a higher number than your opponent's, then you win that exchange and remove 1 HP from your opponent's partner pokémon.
- IV. Once a partner pokémon runs out of HP, the battle is over. Both participants should provide an additional post in the same thread that concludes the battle.
- VI. After the thread is finished, modify your tracker here with the results.
- VII. Repeat this until the end of the event and earn rewards based on how many Vitals your character obtains.
