Taking to the sea with his Milotic, the pair would stay submerged in the water, only coming back up for Noel to breath air for a moment. Today they were tasked with disrupting an enemy ship filled with crucial supplies at any cost. They had been patrolling the area for quite some time, finding the boat at last after some time. They emerge out onto the water's surface and commence their attack.[break][break]

With its eyes glowing a deep blue, the water type Pokemon summons a freezing Blizzard towards the front of the ship. Creating an iceberg that stops the vessel in its tracks, unable to continue on any further. From the water, they could hear shouts of confusion as the Rocket members onboard attempt to figure out what happened. Noel lets off a smile as it seemed his mission was a success, he sits idly by, waiting for reinforcements. However unbeknownst to him, a deadly opponent was waiting for him up in the sky.

Right on cue. A hero. A victory half-baked, a ship frozen within the sea itself. He must be so proud of himself. A pat on the back for a job well done.[break][break]

With a nosedive downwards towards the ocean, Sirin would stop just short of the ocean itself, pulling up the waves. Shining with a fury of rainbows, a STEEL WING picks up the sheen of the waters, aiming to cleave the hero in twain. And if that's not enough, the suited Rocket riding atop of Sirin holds a knife, intent to dig it in.[break][break]

If not him meant for him, then the Milotic. Make the hero swim to land. Make him struggle upon the waves.

Sensing danger, Noel's Milotic cries out to warn its owner. With a quick dive back down into the water, it narrowly avoids the enemy attack. However the force of the shockwave from the speed of the enemy causes a tsunami to form, washing away Noel and his Pokemon roughly towards the shore. He is knocked off and tumbles onto the sandy beach, his Milotic rolling along with him. Once ashore, he quickly rises back up to his feet and recalls his Pokemon that was now out of its element. He looks up to see the man responsible for this and shouts out.[break][break]

"Hey, who are you? Are you one of them? If it's a fight you want then it's a fight you'll get."[break][break]

Letting out his Frogadier out onto the field, the two lock targets on their opponent and get ready for their first attack. His froggy friend starting it off with a Hydro Pump aimed directly at the pair. From this distance it would be easy to dodge but they had no other option, they didn't have a way to close the distance and needed to wait for their opportunity to strike.

The chortle from the man only grows, as he looks down at the shore. The Milotic's instincts had kicked in, and saved their Trainer. How precious. A Trainer with Pokemon who cared about him.[break][break]

Cracking his neck, as the Frogadier comes onto the field, Troy taps on his Corviknight, and she immediately flips upside-down, dodging the Hydro Pump, and letting Troy fall onto the sandy shore, knife in hand.[break][break]

"A fight?" They toss it in their hand, letting the weight push their hand down, a little taunt. Blue eyes peer down at the Trainer. "No. This is a game."[break][break]

From the sand, his Gliscor bursts from the sand, intent on slashing the Frogadier through with a NIGHT SLASH, as his Corviknight uses a HONE CLAWS from above. In the confusion, he begins making his way towards the Trainer, walking slowly. If his half-mask wasn't obscuring his identity, he'd be smirking ear-to-ear, spinning the knife in his hand.

Noel's Frogadier expertly evades the Gliscors attack and while in the air, hurls a bomb downwards, releasing a Smokescreen that would veil the area around the Pokemon. It hides inside, awaitings its moment to strike, until finally it sees its chance and appears above the bat-like Pokemon, attempting to Smack it Down to the ground.[break][break]

The blue-haired man watches as his opponent eerily walks towards him, the mask unnerving him. It wasn't the first time he fought someone freakish from Rocket and it probably wouldn't be the last either. However this one most definitely had the intent to kill, and if Noel wasn't careful, he could wind up the same as his unlucky League allies.[break][break]

"And what are you supposed to be dressed up as? Aren't you a bit too old to be trick or treating? Well sorry but I'm all out of both, all I can give you now is a beating."[break][break]

Readying his stance the trainer awaiting for the attack to commence. He didn't have a weapon unlike the foe before him. He would have to rely on defense for the time being and see if he could take any openings.

Oh, the hero was going to give them a beating! That was cute. How many times will they hear that in their life. Spinning the blade in hand, they can't help but respond cooly. "Oh...?" Their blue eyes fixated on Noel, hyper-fixating, as they near.[break][break]

"Oh just a beating? You disappoint me, little hero."[break][break]

As soon as Troy lunges, from above, the hero's little Frogadier successfully SMACK DOWNs Drac, who hits the ground and skitters away, climbing through the ground. Once the impact is made, the sound and impact made, the Corviknight comes from above, intent to STEEL WING the frog and toss them away with an empowered strike.[break][break]

Troy's knife purposefully misses towards the left side of Noel's chest. They are testing Noel, seeing how they react. If they have the reflexes to take on a real hit, a real weapon. But their free hand will be ready to grab towards Noel's hair to throw him backwards if he blocks, wanting an assault on two fronts to the hero.[break][break]

They were Rocket. They intended to fight dirty at every front possible.

Jumping to the side in an attempt to dodge his enemy's attack, the blade just barely nicks against him, a shallow cut going through his clothes and barely making a mark on his body, but still enough to draw blood. However this was all just a ploy, a dirty trick to divert his attention elsewhere. A hand roughly grabs onto his hair and he is tossed aside like trash, his balance is thrown off and he stumbles backwards, landing on his back against the sandy terrain. Somewhat dazed, Noel recovers his senses and looks straight into Troy's eyes, a fury building up inside him.[break][break]

"I knew you Rockets wouldn't play fair, you all know nothing of having a respectable one on one fight. I won't stoop down to your level though."[break][break]

All meanwhile his Frogadier appeared to be having trouble with his two on one battle. Being left in the air after his move against the Gliscor made him vulnerable to the next oncoming hit. The Corviknight's hardened wing struck against the frog's body, causing it to let out a pained cry while it fumbles through the air, landing squarely against the floor now bruised and struggling to get up, open to any other sort of attack.[break][break]

Noel had no time to worry about his Pokemon, he had to end things fast or else it would be over for the both of them. Braving forward, he would attempt a hook from his his right arm against the masked man, and if that was somehow blocked, his next plan of action would be to kick towards the other side at his stomach.

Oh, now he's getting angry? Flat on his ass angry. A step forward in the sand, and he can't help but run a hand through his brown hair, the knife in hand a constant reminder, the taste of blood upon icy cold steel. Like a ghost, hanging listlessly and moving forward.[break][break]

"Then you'll die." If he's not willing to go as low as them, then he will die. That much was certain. The stakes are on the table, the writing is on the walls.[break][break]

That frog was not doing great, and both Sirin and Drac knew it. But Sirin continued to press the advantage, racing downwards with an eruption of sand, and moving in for a PLUCK with her beak. Intention being cripple at worst. And at best?[break][break]

Kill.[break][break]

Troy had been distracted by the sight, and unbeknownst to him, he felt the hook from the right arm smack into his face, the taste of blood in his mouth as he stumbles, but stays on his feet, using the kinetic energy given by his stumble to spin on his leg, and provide a kick towards the man's side if he can.[break][break]

The knife dropped into the sand.[break][break]

"Glad to see the hero has some fight in him." he cracks his neck, taunting him again with calling him that. That word. "Let's test that."

Being pressed further and further into the sand, the Frogadier had no choice but to take on the Corviknight's relentless assault on its body. Its beak tearing through the frog's flesh as it cut deeper and deeper with every peck. Until finally it had delved too deep, the large bird now picking at its innards as it could only lay helplessly on the floor, looking to its trainer for help.[break][break]

However Noel also had too much on his plate to help his blue friend. While his attack was successful the counter was not something he expected, he's left rolling through the sand as the kick blows him away. He's left just a few feet away from his companion, reaching out a hand towards him as if reaching him would somehow help solve everything. Instead he's forced to watch as the last remnants of its life fades away, a pool of blood seeping out onto the sand and reaching Noel's hand. Anguish fills his face, his bloody hand clenched into a fist as he slowly but surely stands up, his legs buckling under him but he forces them to listen to him. He rises back up, staring deep into the masked man's face with a burning hatred.[break][break]

"You... You'll pay! I'm not going to let you do this any longer, you and your organization need to be extinguished!"[break][break]

Sprinting forward, he runs with a speed that he's never had before. Tackling the Rocket onto the ground with him on top, placing his hands around the man's neck and squeezing with all his might. He had lost himself completely to the bloodlust, he had to take revenge for his fallen comrade, because he didn't who would. However as he felt his hands sink into the enemy's flesh, he comes back to his senses. Killing him would put that on the same level as Rocket, no, even worse. He had vowed to never take a life, and while this person had wronged him greatly, he couldn't bring himself to finish him off. Tears streamed down his cheek as his hesitation now caused his grip to loosen, letting him open to anything his foe would do.[break][break]

"Why... Why can't I do it?

Hatred. The little hero got closer to the edge. And Troy watched him teeter the line. Emotionless, uncaring. What mattered to Troy here was that this man laid atop of him, straddled above, as he let them dig in. A familiar feeling in them... the feeling of being crashed at nearly crippling them.[break][break]

The memory that wasn't a memory, one that didn't happen to him but did. The truck that t-boned her, and led to the conceiving of Troy MacQueen. It infuriated them. They just stare from below, as the hero begins to cry.[break][break]

And he's crying now? "Pathetic."[break][break]

His gloved hand races towards Noel's neck, the hero now having a hand gripping tightly to crush his windpipe, as he looks towards the bloody beak of his Corviknight, the Gliscor intent to do what is necessary to end this poor sap's life. But Troy hushes them with barely a glance.[break][break]

"Because you're weak." Tilting his head upwards, he crushes tighter. "I pity you. A weakling of the League cannot stand against Rocket. You're not even worth my time to kill." He taunts, crushing more, eyes uncaring, unmoving. Expression dark beneath the half-mask.[break][break]

"Grovel."[break][break]

Deciding to give the little hero with a pummeling, Troy swings with his other hand to their face. A left hook intent to dig into the face to get him off. And if given the chance? Troy was going to make the hero suffer.

Unable to block the hit or dodge in time, Noel takes the hit straight into his cheek which forcefully pushes him off of his opponent. His body lies face down into the sand as he struggles to get back on his feet. All the strength had left his body and his resolve to continue on faltered. In his view, the remains of his Frogadier, now just a lifeless body on the beach covered in specks of sand mixed in with blood. Where did he fail? He thought surely he'd be enough against one Rocket but all had been lost. Because of his rashness, he lost a trusted companion that he could never get back.[break][break]

"No... It's not over... I can still fight..."[break][break]

The words weakly escaped his breath. His legs buckled under him with every attempt to rise. His body just wouldn't respond to him no matter how hard he tried. Were these his final moments? It couldn't end here, not when there was still so much to do and with his dream unrealized. But now he was at the mercy of this masked man, and he'd be lucky if he was able to get out of here alive.

A knee comes for their head, hands pulled down so they would collide, as Troy continues an onslaught. Before long, the roles reverse. Troy is now towering above Noel, eyes viciously staring him down.[break][break]

"I want you to remember this pain." Defeat that Troy would never let him live down. But as he presses his hand to the back of Noel's head, pushing him into the sand. Pulling his hair to force his eyes to look at his fallen Frogadier, he gets close.[break][break]

"You know it's your fault, right?"[break][break]

And then. He lets Noel go. He gets up, and begins to walk away, blue eyes forward, as he mounts his Corviknight, a final look towards Noel.[break][break]

Wordlessly, he glares on. And flies.
