Hey, if you're reading this, that means I'm currently reworking Eddie's plotter and basically turning it into a plotter + infamy file hybrid. You should skedaddle until I get this finished!



Between working construction most of his life, his recent recruitment to the military, and his own love of weight-lifting and jogging, Eddie is built. Broad-shouldered and muscular, Eddie takes pride in keeping himself in tip-top shape, mostly because he just enjoys feeling strong, but maybe it also has something to do with the fact that he can be just a tad bit vain when it comes to his own personal appearance. But, after a certain point, vanity gives way to laziness, so Eddie keeps his coarse hair trimmed short and his facial hair to a minimum, because dealing with any kind of hair care beyond that is more effort than what he thinks its worth. He has always had a penchant for the flashy when it comes to clothing, however, and some of his favorite articles are glossy silk shirts in warm tones.



First and foremost, Eddie is a deeply sentimental man who both prides himself and is burdened by how strongly he feels things. He loves loudly, grieves deeply, and can be incredibly empathetic, but can sometimes be so caught up in what he's feeling that it can distract him from approaching a situation with logic and without personal bias. Eddie is also compassionate to a fault, and is almost always willing to see the good in people regardless of what they might have done.



Eduardo Romero Hisakawa was born May 18th, 1985 in Cascarrafa, the son of Susana Machado Hisakawa, owner and proprietor of La Bodega Azul, and Kenji Hisakawa, a Johtonian immigrant and local police chief. Though he struggled academically while attending local public schools, Eddie found that he took quickly to trades, and would go on to work for a Cascarrafan construction company shortly after he graduated high school. Though distant from his father, Eddie considers himself quite close to his other immediate family members, and has maintained some distant ties to extended family still living in Johto. Additionally, he's made a few new friends since moving to Hoenn, and is staunchly loyal to those he's come to know over the last five months.


As Eddie's older brother, the forty-three year old police officer appears to, in many ways, have followed in their father's footsteps. However, Miguel is not quite as uptight nor judgmental as the Hisakawa patriarch, and can always be depended upon to come to his brothers' aid when shit hits the fan... which is precisely why Eddie hasn't told him about some of his more harrowing experiences since moving to Hoenn. Though imposing and stern at first brush, Eddie knows just how much his big brother loves his family.


Eddie's first younger brother, a thirty-three year old chef working out of Mesagoza, is ambitious and driven. As such, he doesn't always keep in touch with his older brother, but will typically make time to catch up after grueling hours spent running his own restaurant. Specializes in rustic Alto Marean cuisine, and Eddie swears that “Gabe” makes the best gnocchi alla sorrentina you'll ever have.


Eddie's youngest brother is a thirty year old IT technician living in Levincia, and “little Cris” is far and away Eddie's favorite of his siblings. Sensitive and quiet at a glance but deeply passionate about his interests, the youngest of the Hisakawa clan often looks to Eddie for guidance and comfort. In turn, Eddie is deeply protective of his younger brother, and has been since their youth.
