How to Recruit a Dragon {Recruitment 1 Mission]

[nospaces] [attr="class","draco177"]  [attr="class","pkmn"]    [attr="class","text"] Three months ago... The wilds of meteor falls were a both beautiful and dangerous place. Dragons, and other pokemon freely roamed and lived there, showing an untamed natural setting. Though trainers often did come to find and discover dragon Pokemon of their own to raise, many were content in the wilds of the starry-skied falls. [break][break] THis had become his home. His territory. His sanctuary, as did many pokemon who lived there. The falls roared wildly down as water pokemon swam in the ponds and streams. Among them-- a single humanoid shape swam with them. A dark skinned man with wild hair and markings on his body. The man swam as he caught series of fish with a single sharp stick and net-- made out of vines from nearby foliage. The man, Draco-- remained in the confines of Meteor Falls as he got accustomed to this new land. [break][break] A loud splash came as Draco emerged with a gasp, catching small 'normal' fish suitable for a meal for himself, and a snack for some of his Pokemon. As he swam back to a nearby waterfall-- he spotted his little friend Ceto. The tiny Dratini gave out happy chirps as it moved around in the waterfall, its shed skin now gone and having a fresh healthy coat on its body. On the side of the falls, on dry land-- were two notable Pokemon. One was a Drampa-- named Nimbus. He was Draco's 'foster father'-- the kindly dragon that took him in when he was alone in the wilds, without a home or family to care for him. Beside him, was also a Charizard covered with scars just like Draco did. He was once a charmander, caught by Draco's poacher father-- whom Draco freed and helped escape as he ran away. [break][break] He was a soul who suffered at the hands of humans, and choose to embrace life among Pokemon. [break][break] Draco hauled himself out of the water, dragging his catch with him towards Charizard. "Here ya go Helios. Snack time," Draco said with a grin as he let go of the net. Draco gave a happy grunt as he soon inhaled-- and blew out a sharp shot of Flamethrower. The flames washed over the caught fish-- charring them enough to be considered 'grilled'. Draco smirked as he saw Helios stomp up and grab a handful of the fish. The dragon didn't hesitate as he gobbled each one down, body and all, enjoying his meal. Nimbus, on the other hand, rarely ate fish-- and kept to the berries he had around him from the trees nearby. [break][break] Hungry himself, Draco sat down, half naked and took one of the fish himself. He took a generous bite, not having eaten since yesterday. [break][break]To anyone, Draco may of been as savage as any beast pokemon whom might come by. However, he was sharp, attentive and just as aware as most humans. The only difference was, from the age of 8-- was raised by dragon pokemon and the pokemon that lived around them. His life as a human was inconsequential... at least till a new presence came to disturb the Meteor Falls...
