Something had torn apart a LEAGUE RESEARCH STATION last night. The very same that Remiel Calcifet and kyle lopez had been intending to use this morning. Witnesses said it was blasted apart by a freak storm and lightning bolts.[break][break]

And, needless to say, to some that looked pretty incriminating when it came to the topic of the reformed ZEKROM AVATAR.[break][break]

Remiel had endured the baseless accusations well, however. He'd even volunteered to find the real source of this destruction with HOENN'S CHAMPION. It was, after all, a Pokémon. One native to the GREAT CHASM, if he had to guess.[break][break]

"nope," he answers nonchalantly.

the longer he looks at it, the more he realizes that the paradox pokemon weren't at all similar to their counterparts. given that they say all that roam the area were of such origin, it was the only logical conclusion he can land on.

"it's not paradox suicune at least," he mentions. "especially if what you said is true."

he falls back from staring long at the footprint to take notice of his surroundings, readying for any ambush that may come.

"it was water- and dragon-type," he tells him, having known from a previous encounter back at ever grande. "and if the pattern follows the paradox pokemon that appeared during kyurem, then we're good with our pokemon."

a shared type within the trio, and then one that mirrors their counterpart's typing. it's a safe conclusion to arrive to despite not having met the other two just yet.

the pokemon accompanying him was good against all three, theoretically speaking. practice, however, always has a way to upset theory.

Remiel had heard rumours of the PARADOX SUICUNE said to inhabit these mysterious jungle-infested lands. Some had even begun to reference it as the 'WALKING WAKE'. The very fact that it was a Dragon-type he had yet to research had seized the Galarian's attention. But, alas, that did not seem to be what they were hunting now.[break][break]

The royal takes a deep breath and exhales before rising from his crouch. Ahead of them, the chittering jungle awaited. Behind them, the ruins of the LEAGUE RESEARCH STATION smoldered. "Let's go find out what it is then, shall we?" He smiles, turning to his companion as he unsheathes a machete from his hip. "The tracks lead into the jungle."[break][break]

And, without asking for permission, his Runerigus begins to swiftly crawl ahead to take the lead. It isn't long before its master follows in after it, hacking and slashing his way through any obtrusive vines that get in their way.[break][break]
