A Pineco drops down from the trees, landing next to Thomas. Immediately, its body takes on a familiar glow, that sends Thomas running for cover. Kalameet is quick to attempt to blast the Pineco with a Flamethrower. The Pineco is knocked unconscious before it can go through with its attempt to Self-Destruct.

Upon seeing this, Thomas tossed a Sports Ball at it.

A Venonat leaps over towards Kalameet the Hydreigon. The first thing it does is use Skill Swap, causing the dragon to drop to the ground suddenly, while it floats in the air. The Venonat then levitates over to the Hydreigon, sending out a glowing tendril-like tongue at it, intent on Leeching the Hydreigon's Life. Ripper steps in front of the attack, taking the attack, much to the chagrin of the Venonat, who barely gets anything out of it.

In retaliation, Ripper throws a Bullet Punch at the Venonat, sending it floating back several feet, nearly smacking into a tree, before it recovers. Colt follows up by firing a Water Pulse at it, sending it colliding into the tree, and causing it to drop to the ground. Thomas tosses a Sports Ball at the creature.
