She took up a hobby in assisting her grandparents with the upkeep of their daycare in Fortree city and has since found her passion for looking after baby Pokemon. [break][break] Once the business grew, and after the repeated encouraging and demanding of her parents, Avery helped relocate the 'Collins Family Daycare' from Fortree to Lilycove to improve business. Since moving, she has found great respect and pride in her day to day routine. Most recently, she participated in a honey-gathering contest and was visited by the mythical Pokemon Shaymin. The Pokemon found kinship with her and she became their avatar. [break][break] Her life goal is to settle down and raise a family, but more importantly to raise a family in a world without war or fear. Rocket's influence on the world has been a negative one. The headlines read disaster, the council have been quiet since the New Years fiasco, and she finds herself more and more scared of what might come next, of what will come next. [break][break] She's never been a fighter, she's never wanted to. But the inevitable is coming and she feels powerless to stop it, unsure how she can continue to put up a front that she won't fight for what she believes is right. While she isn't the regions first form of defense, she is one of their citizens. She has the power of a voice, the power of a choice. Is the right one to fight back? Is fighting, is a war, what this region really needs to come back?[break][break] Will she have to fight in order to not fight? Naivety doesn't look good on you, Avery. She strives to be polite and considerate of others and bends over backwards to ensure that her clients are comfortable and satisfied. As such, she can often be misinterpreted as weak-willed or simple-minded; a doormat personality. She is not, however, without her temper. Avery is a tride and true pacifist, and the recent influx of crime and violence has turned her stomach. She refuses to participate in violence and war. She herself is quite strong-willed when it comes to what she believes in. Friendship comes easily to her as she is not the type to assume or immediately detect darkness in anyone. She is generally not unlikable unless you find adorable politeness and kindness detestable. Avery would not be conscious of others dislike of her, but she does notice that she feels nauseous or ill when she's being lied to. She has recently become acutely aware of emotions and intentions, not that it has any real sway in how she views a person. Everyone has their faults, no one is perfect and she understands this. As long as you can respect her pacifism and desire to protect all living things, she will get along splendidly with you.
