New team, new him. Caius needed to expand his team, he had some heavy hitters now but he still felt like he was missing a little something. A little intrigue. He loved having a ton of brawn on his side but there was a certain sophistication missing. This was why he came to the jagged pass! The fabled land of strong Pokemon and the Psychic types that kept them in line. [break][break]

Putting his hands in his pockets he looked up at the pass from the base of it. What sort of Pokemon were out here? The locals said this was a good place to hunt and Caius was a bit nervous.

A hitmontop came into play but Caius didn’t fall for it. As much as he wanted to battle the remarkable spinning fighting type he decided against it. If he fought this Pokemon right now he felt as if he pretty much has to catch it, after all it was a fighting type and fighting types were his thing.

Avoiding eye contact with the pokemon he’d let it spin on his way as he continued his search. He was hoping for something outside of his element. Universe forgive him for passing up such a lovely Pokemon. Once the hitmontop was out of sight and Caius could comfortably breath he’d continue his search as he hiked up hill.

There it was, a gem in the rough… A psychic type, it made him queasy but he came out here for a reason and in all honesty it reminded him of Monty. All green headed and small. They would have been a great duo! [break][break]

Instead of his usual approach he’d slowly approach the Pokemon, taking a knee and smiling an extremely wide grin. “Hello, I wish to capture you with “Friendship” do you agree to come?” [break][break]

The ralts seemed started as it looked up at the large trainer with its hidden red hues. [break][break]

“Ha, you get spooked just like Monty.” he laughed, “But seriously..” before the Pokemon could react he’d tap it on the head with a Pokeball. “If I catch you I might get some more ice cream from my greenheaded pal.” [break][break]

If the capture was successful he’d go ahead and leave to go in search of his buddy.
