Orion's mentally gearing up for the trek back down the mountain when the other ranger addresses him, getting his attention.

"Hm? Oh, in Fortree." It was closer than most other population centers; Lilycove had been where they'd warped to get the girl sorted out, but Fortree was only a little farther. "Only if you're sure! I wouldn't want to impose."

With the bugs dealt with, Orion returns Kora to his Pokeball but leaves Katas out just in case. If Monty decided it was an inconvenience, he'd want the company of his partner for the hike.

Monty dismisses the polite gesture of not wanting to impose. He gives his gardevoir's hand a squeeze and in return, Radiance moves her free hand to Orion to offer him her service of teleport.

"I wouldn't have offered if I didn't think she could handle it. We're familiar with Fortree, and it's not far, so she won't be too terribly stressed after the journey. We're going to a pokemon center anyway, so I'll just have Radiance looked over and cared for while we're there."

It seemed most logical, anyway.

Though he'd kept all hope out of his tone and expression in an attempt not to influence Monty's decision, Orion's quietly relieved when they agree to the quick transport.

Their minds made up, Orion returns the Absol to his Pokeball before reaching out to take the Gardevoir's hand once more.
