A RARE SNOWFALL HITS HOENN. climatologists are alarmed by the sudden shift in temperatures. preliminary research suggests the residual energies of the wormholes are to blame for the climate change; however, the weather institute is still busy at work to provide evidence for their hypothesis. yet many have taken to the streets and slopes to enjoy the snow. it's not every day that you get a winter wonderland in hoenn.[break][break][break]

the event, hoennian holidays, will run until january 1 (PT) / january 2 (UTC). this event focuses on ice-type pokemon. for this reason, ice-type pokemon receive special treatment as outlined below.[break][break]

ice-type pokemon have their evolutions discounted by 50%.
ice-type pokemon have a higher chance of possessing 5 moves, egg moves, hidden abilities, and being shiny.
delibird may drop in your threads to grant you gifts (e.g. poke or items). you do not need to consider the delibird as ic.
ice-type pokemon can now be spawned anywhere. if you would like ice-type spawns outside of shoal cave, please specify it in moderation requests when asking for a wild pokemon spawn.
