HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. Of course, it also has the added benefit of more mature content being allowed. Still! Nothing is confirmed. If you have any thoughts or opinions, please let me know!

hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Samuel came all this way to Granite Cave to witness the famous mural the cavern was oh so well known for. And after trekking all the way through the stone labyrinth, and smacking away any pests that decided to bother him he finally made it and was not disappointed.

He’d take some time to write down his notes and take some pictures.

A curious little Mawile approached the man as he was busy working. It didn’t seem to wish any harm on the man and was just genuinely curious as to what he was up to.

And while it was cute Samuel didn’t have time to play so he gave the little Pokémon a treat and shooed it away. Now with that distraction gone he could work in peace.

The next Pokémon that decided to bother Sam while he worked was much feistier than the last one and to an annoying point. Machops were almost always looking for a fight and Sam did not feel like indulging it but just ignoring the Pokémon wasn’t going to work and in fact it didn’t take too kindly to that.

So Samuel summoned his Pidgeot and had the bird Pokémon blow the Machop away with a powerful gust of wind. Now he can have some peace.....maybe?

He’d find no peace here as another Pokémon made its way to where the man was trying to study. But this Pokémon interested him much more than the others that had come before. As such he decided that he’d add this one to his team. The Falinks took interest in the Pidgeot nearby, wanting to challenge the bird Pokémon and test its own mettle.

”Well looks like someone’s challenging us. Let’s give them what they want, eh?” Samuel smiled at his Pidgeot. The bird Pokémon didn’t look amused but took off into the air, peering down at the Falinks.

The Falinks made the first move, striking with a First Impression attack, a strong move which would have done more if not for type advantages. Samuel returned in kind by ordering Horus to use Air Slash, which made its mark. And with the follow-up of Hurricane, the Falkinks would be weak enough for Samuel to attempt a capture with an empty capsule of his.
