Rowan doesn't enjoy being here and anyone can see it; it's written on her face. She already hates the mountains, let alone the added heat hitting her smack in the face when she ventures forth on the fiery path. She huffs a breath, pushing her sunglasses up on her nose.

She came here with a goal, so she was going to keep going until she reached that goal.

Rowan spots the croagunk from the corner of her eyes, watching it's arms swing left and right. She pulls a face, corners of her lips turned down in a scowl.

"It's so ugly," she murmurs under her breath, tearing her gaze away from the pokemon and back ahead.

Watching the venonat, it's antennae drooped from obvious discomfort in the heat, Rowan almost feels obliged to catch it; if only just to get it out of here, because it's clearly not supposed to be here.

In the end, she decides against it, shooting the small pokemon an apologetic look from behind her sunglasses. In her head, she repeats: it's not what you're looking for, as if that somehow makes her feel better about it.

Seeing the salandit draws a grin on Rowan's lips. "There you are," she says, already reaching for the pokeball holding her bulbasaur. She sends it out, mouthing an I'm sorry when he looks up at her with big, distressed eyes; bothered by the heat.

She points at the salandit, currently enjoying sitting on a nice, hot rock because lizards are weird like that. "Use sleep powder, then you're done," she tells bulbasaur, who immediately does as he's told at the promise of returning to his pokeball.

Once the salandit is put the sleep (looking pretty peaceful, napping on her rock), Rowan calls back her bulbasaur before grabs an empty pokeball and throwing it, aiming carefully.
