They soon gain an audience, the dragon type wandering from the depths of the falls at the sound. Perhaps it thought there was a battle afoot but all it finds is a human and a pokemon sparring. It's different enough from what it is used to that it chooses to sit at the edge of their makeshift ring. It's not clearly marked but it seems to get the idea of where they are trying to stay by watching them for awhile.

Evan has little interest in the dragon type, and so long as it chooses not to interrupt he'll allow it to stay. Besides, he has to pay attention to what the blaziken is doing lest he get hit and end up in the hospital. While he's no push over as far as human's go he's only ever truly used his body for the hunt- not for fights. Hell he considers actually trying against humans a certain degree of taboo. It goes against his chose way of life too strongly for him to resort to it easily.

The pokemon tests him, but with every move it grows faster and faster and they both know by this point that when they hit the breaking point they walk away.

It winds its way through their practice area and Evan finds it a good time to tart involving their surroundings in their sparring. The pokemon is alarmed when his foot patterns change drastically, looking to avoid the winding pokemon as makes its ways past them as if they aren't even there.

The blaziken has become to accustomed to their normal rules it doesn't know how to respond, stumbling back a step as it tried to readjust to the change in Evan's tactics and the surprise earns him a clear shot at the pokemon's leg. It's not enough to really bother it but the pokemon seems suddenly unsure of itself.

Evan gestures for it to return to where it was and get back to their sparring, he leads by example and the pokemon watches out for more unexpected interruptions.

It is on purpose that the blaziken pivots itself away from Evan, realizing that he will not be able to dodge or protect himself for the strike that was about to connect with his arm.

It is on accident that it ends up hitting a wild pokemon that has appeared with the rest of the audience and suddenly the falls are a clamor of attacks and yells from each of the pokemon. Evan goes wide-eyed as he realizes he and his pokemon have suddenly becomes very unwelcomed guests and the duo makes bee line for the exit of the falls. Evan considers this an enjoyable exercise just as much as the actual sparring was and his blaziken does his best to not leave him behind too far.

"Saff, baby." the small joltik that perpetually sits on his back scurries up to the back of his neck where he can see the pokemon behind them, oncoming attacks being blocked by the protective barrier the small pokemon erects whenever something might hit them.

Evan makes a note not to return to the falls for awhile.
