Lucha Libre was out, and he was raring for a fight. Every Pokemon in the area would know it, seeing as he was screaming as such to everybody in the area. Arms spread wide made him as big as possible, which was… Not very big, by any stretch of the imagination. He’d never let that stop him before, though. The important thing was that he felt like a giant.

Oh, yeah, and Annie was there too, barely holding back her laughter.

It didn’t take long for somebody to answer the call. Whether it was out of a genuine desire to challenge or just to shut Libre up was anybody’s guess, but the end result was the same. The Machamp came charging out of the trees. A Low Kick attempted to punt the bird to kingdom come, but his small size allowed him to dive out of harm’s way. A Sky Drop took the Hawlucha into the air, firing himself back down with all the ferocity an overcompensating bird could muster, dealing a super-effective attack that knocked the other fighter off his feet.

Annie only noticed the primate’s approach when he flung itself out of the trees by his tail, arcing into Lucha Libre fist-first. For once, the bird was the one sent tumbling onto his feet, but while he was annoyed by the blindside attack, his trainer merely raised an eyebrow. That was a fighter with Camp Annie potential, she thought… But she wouldn’t intervene until Libre had had some fun.

And so she watched and waited, letting the two fighting-types duke it out without any commands on her part. Not only was it a good way for her to observe the challenger’s style, fighting and balancing himself on any of his limbs as necessary, but it meant the Hawlucha got his workout for the day. With one quick “Pull back!”, Lucha Libre knew to withdraw, so Annie could throw a Pokeball in his place.
