as the carnage settles, the titan pokémon’s movements slow. it takes a step, eyes flickering wildly like moving kaleidoscope patterns before the gaze steadies. all eyes focus on zeke rainey and an ominous nausea inflicts him momentarily. he’s stricken with a CURSE and over the next few weeks, he’ll be racked with bad dreams. nightmares. [break][break]

the vision: a tower. manmade. corporate. the perspective stems from the base and follows up the looming structure. the building’s base is suddenly ensnared in black and purple tendrils—or ink. the medium shifts from dream to dream. they’re almost eldritch in appearance before they travel upward to consume the structure in its entirety. its unsettling. something’s wrong. and suddenly, the darkness consumes him too.[break][break]

the regirock’s herculean form slumps. its bouldered arms brace the ground like massive pillars as the titan RECHARGES. its voice, like a garbled mess of ancient runes and staccato keys reveals its distress. this your chance. [break][break]

Ava Rosewood will be able to spot the stone she discovered earlier, scattered among the rubble. it catches the rays of light from the fading SUNNY DAY, shining where particular veins of some unknown mineral are inlaid.[break][break]

the explorers near leo del río look as if they are desperate to move; it’s their chance as well, having survived the blast by bracing themselves behind boulders. they begin to run forward to meet up with the majority of the party—and to move closer to the exits.[break][break]

• this round is all about reacting to the deaths and injuries.

• @logan appears outta nowhere and uses his metang to HYPER BEAM the rocks, then regirock's face. the attack destroys a few rocks but nowhere near enough. a carefully timed rock shields the titan's face.
• kim cole-essam's gothita uses FUTURE SIGHT and PSYSHOCK, which destroys some of the rocks.
• Ava Rosewood's pidgey's QUICK ATTACK dislodges the glowing stone, causing it to fall onto the ground. rockruff's STONE EDGE manages to free ava.
• Dallas Rhodes' sandslash manages to break a few of the rocks with SWIFT. slowpoke escapes his death with a WATER GUN.
• riley maddox's castform's WEATHER BALLS manage to stop quite a few rocks, stopping the titan from healing. chandelure's HEX makes the flame burn brighter, causing regirock to groan in pain.
• Silvia Blackmore's bastiodon falls victim to the STONE EDGE; the impact almost knocks it out, but its STURDY keeps it in play. carbink uses POWER GEM to destroy a fair few of the rocks.
• LILLIAN GLASS pulling in that clutch 99 roll to have her dragonair DRAGON RAGE the majority of the rocks. wow.
• zeke rainey's kabuto uses AQUA JET to target the rocks. it only hits a few.
• Bailey Cooper's togekiss manages to avoid the STONE EDGE. how lucky! it even manages to destroy some rocks. the kommo-o strikes the titan with SKY UPPERCUT and CLOSE COMBAT but doesn't do nearly enough; it simply annoys and staggers.
• leo del río isn't able to get the explorer to talk; the man freezes and shuts up as the battle rages on. his absol's PSYCHO CUT slices away at a large number of the rocks.
• Malcolm Stone's aegislash gonna go thru some shit. it manages to take away the precious life the titan seeks only to be hit with a STONE EDGE. it comes close to fainting. espeon tries a PSYCHIC that only manages one or two rocks. cute kiss thoooo.
• @alexander's torterra sucks away with MEGA DRAIN but that's all it does. suck.
• @yiannis: umbreon dodges (wow) and attacks, managing to break a large number of rocks. its confuse ray misses again, however. cloyster's AURORA BEAM and ICICLE CRASH breaks two rocks. gigalith's STONE EDGE continues to chip away at the titan, doing a fair bit of damage. nice kiss too.
• persephone amavi GREAT ROLLS lucario dodges with eaaaaaaaaaaase and COUNTERS with AURA SPHERE, destroying a large amount of rocks.
• avery avila again w this terrain shit wow sylveon's MISTY TERRAIN manages to overpower the SANDSTORM in play; the sandstorm starts to fade away. MOONBLAST, HYDRO PUMP, and SHADOW BALL destroy some rocks.
• FERNANDO SILPH llol get cucked ur FUTURE SIGHT isn't powerful enough to do anything. and TRANSFORM continues to charge very slowly.
• @andromeda fire boi gets hit, close to fainting. fire gal dodges it. gj posting.
• @joey L O L u dead
• @arlette furfou's HEADBUTT knocks away rocks and vileplume's GIGA DRAIN sucks away at regirock, doing decent damage.
• thalia black PROTECC fails and before flygon is able to do anything, it's hit with a sudden STONE EDGE. the damage is minimal but it's enough to interrupt whatever attacks flygon was going to do.
• DANIEL WALKER IRON TAIL does shit but AQUA TAIL hits hard, managing to make the titan lose balance.

REGIROCK'S TURN[break][break]

teamwork is still absent, but the rescue team works towards a common goal: to stop the titan. their attacks are enough to stop the titan from healing itself; rocks are destroyed before they can reach regirock, and as the fire continues to burn brightly, it's clear regirock is weakening. it loses its balance, faltering for a moment but it doesn't fall.[break][break]

enough with this.[break][break]

its seven eyes glow intensely: its mouth opens, and not a moment after, a HYPER BEAM erupts. the large area of effect beam does a one-eighty degree sweep, targeting the majority of the pokemon. the intensity of the attack is enough to cause ROCK SLIDES and STALACTITES to fall, calling for the rescue team's concern, too.[break][break]

and then, it rests.[break][break]

• regirock's HYPER BEAM targets the majority of your pokemon. this round is all about avoiding being hit by it (or maybe you want to get hit, idk).
• you need to roll an 60 or higher to survive being hit by it if you choose not to do anything.
• you need to roll a 40 or higher to successfully combat against the attack (protect, avoid, attack vs hyper beam, recall, etc).
• anything lower than a 20 and your pokemon dies.
• please roll once for each pokemon that are out on the battlefield.
• please roll for your character as well as they may need to avoid ROCK SLIDES or STALACTITES that fall. successful roll for this would be above 50. you won't die (unless you want to) if you roll below, your character will simply get injured in some way. mod will decide this next post.
• if your character rolls exactly a 1, they die.

• @arlette's vileplume has increased speed due to CHLOROPHYLL; however, the GIGA DRAIN seems to only scrape at the layers of ancient stone. the flower pokemon continues its onslaught, courageously.
• @andromeda's lions ROAR NOBLY, lowering the attack of the titan before WORKING THEMSELVES UP. they strike with FLAMETHROWER and OVERHEAT, the latter melting some of the regirock's stone carapace thanks to SUNNY DAY.
• zeke rainey rushes toward the survivors after calling for everyone to spread out and encircle the titan. his kabuto uses METAL SOUND to lower the defenses, the frequency chipping away at some stone before the MEGA DRAIN siphons a surprisingly small skein of life.[break][break]
  
  the regirock retaliates, LOCKING ON to zeke rainey as the stones tremble underneath his feet.
• Ava Rosewood's pidgey casts TAILWIND to hasten the party while rockruff tries to enclose the titan with a ROCK TOMB; however, the regirock is able to kick through the stones.[break][break]
  
  Ava Rosewood's keen eyes eventually lead her to discover a shining, gleaming stone and some strains of mineral in the wall, no doubt made out of the same substance.
• Vera Lindt takes cover with @alexander. her audino offers a HELPING HAND to the party, raising their attack. her levitating metagross launches a METEOR MASH, denting some of the rock body with the ferocity of its punches.
• Dallas Rhodes' slowpoke's DISABLE lands on time. the LOCK ON fails, the regi's eyes blinking in random, confusing patterns. his fletchinder charges forth with QUICK ATTACK and STEEL WING to knock off some rock.
• riley maddox's lampent evolves into chandelure! he fans out under zeke rainey's orders. his sunny castform shoots a FIRE-TYPE WEATHER BALL while his chandelure sends WILL-O-WISPS against the titan. the burn is successful, causing HEX to do double the damage.
• Silvia Blackmore's sturdy bastiodon attacks the titan with ANCIENT POWER, the following IRON DEFENSE a preemptive countermeasure. one of the boulders collides with the titan, but the regirock is able to punch the rest into sand with one massive fist. her carbink fires a STONE EDGE toward the regirock, but the stones burst into dust upon impact.
• FERNANDO SILPH's kirlia prepares her group with FUTURE SIGHT. she DOUBLE TEAMS after firing a PSYCHIC against the titan. the regirock groans as its multiple eyes flicker, but is able to shrug off the mental assault with a dramatic stomp. his ditto attempts a TRANSFORM but is nowhere near powerful enough. yet.
• Malcolm Stone's oricorio looks for exits— rondé only discovers that the entrances they had come through are still open... for now. the glow of their sigils seems to be weakening. the SACRED SWORD from the SWORDS DANCED aegislash plunges toward one of the joints in regirock's arm; the impact is enough to stagger the titan, but it doesn't slice its arm off.
• @yiannis' umbreon launches into a FEINT ATTACK and CONFUSE RAY. the first strikes without fail, but the second seems to be swallowed by the mass of stone. the evasion is smart; the regirock stomps where the umbreon once was. afterward, ian's cloyster launches a barrage of ice, the AURORA BEAM slowing the creature's advance while ICICLES protrude out of its body like needles.
• leo del río's altaria tries to find a way out, but the bird dragon can only see the entrances from which they came. his DOUBLE-TEAMED absol's PSYCHO CUT slices into the regirock's body, chipping rock from its gargantuan build. leo del río's blissey HEAL PULSES kim cole-essam while he forcibly questions one of the explorers.[break][break]
  
  a bearded explorer frantically responds, ”i-i don’t know how! it… it killed freddy. it killed him and klaus. shit! i don’t know…” his panicked eyes flicker back and forth between leo, the regirock… and the same shining stone Ava Rosewood is able to spot; however, that stone is too obscured by crumbling rock and pokemon attacks for leo del río to notice.
• Bailey Cooper's togekiss cuts through the air, sending AIR SLASHES that hit regirock's left leg. chunks of stone fall off but the attacks are not enough to stagger a legendary. her kommo-o prepares itself with DRAGON DANCES.
• avery avila's sylveon changes the weather of the battle: a MISTY TERRAIN engulfs the low air, giving the darkened room a low hue of pink. her lanturn's HYDRO PUMP pummels against the titan, and froslass' WILL-O-WISP can't burn an already burned target.
• thalia black's flygon sends out a SUPERSONIC; the titan is smart enough to evade, but not fast enough to avoid the EARTH POWER that targets the ground below. the TOXIC misses, but the PROTECT looks to shield.
• DANIEL WALKER's aggron uses IRON DEFENSES and dragonair uses DRAGON DANCES, preparing to strike.
• persephone amavi's zoroark diguises her and Ava Rosewood, allowing them to examine the wall while her lucario sends a HEAL PULSE to aid the pokemon battling.

the rescue team's constant attacks, one after the other, don't do enough to take down the titan. despite the fire scorching away at its body, the titan remains standing, angry as it stomps its giant foot into the ground. the impact causes a shock wave to ripple across the battlefield, conjuring a SANDSTORM as chunks of rock and dust look to damage. the MISTY TERRAIN fades away.[break][break]

multiple STONE EDGES burst out of the ground, looking to target: both of @andromeda's pyroars, Dallas Rhodes' slowpoke, Silvia Blackmore's bastiodon, Malcolm Stone's aegislash, @yiannis' umbreon, Bailey Cooper's togekiss, and persephone amavi's lucario.[break][break]

through the sandstorm, chunks of rocks start to gather as they float towards regirock. its eyes grow brighter as the rocks near it; this tells you one thing: regirock is starting to repair itself using rocks. hit the rocks away before it can heal![break][break]
