FINAL CHAMBER[break][break]

the doors open to reveal a large chamber that encapsulates more than three-hundred feet of barren space. the chamber is far too wide and dark to see much, but still, massive, rock arms can be seen strewn through the wall; some are holding statues of men in writhing, pained forms. there are bodies of deceased explorers in the chamber; thrown, and boulder-crushed with limbs askew. fallen boulders are scattered across the chamber, but there's one particular one not too far from the entrance that houses something interesting: survivors.[break][break]

as the main group of the rescue team approaches the boulder, one survivor frantically sticks his hands out, flailing his arms as if to get their attention. his eyes are wide and crazed. and desperate. "shhh," he mouths.[break][break]

but it's too late: the dormant regirock awakens.[break][break]

a loud groan emits from the darkness, almost siren-like; it summons for concern to be given. seven circles light up; its intensity grows as it rises to great heights. a thud shakes the foundations, unsettling the peace that once rested in these chambers. a SUNNY DAY shines through cracks in the ceiling, enveloping the chambers in an unruly heat. but, all becomes clear to those inside the chamber.[break][break]

suddenly, a single STONE EDGE bursts out of the ground, targeted at the main group. it hits only on one: @joey. LOCK-ON makes it unavoidable as the stone pierces through the kid and carries him all the way up, rising to the ceiling only to crush whatever remains of his body.[break][break]

the titan turns its attention to the rest of the group. from its two sides, the remaining two groups appear out of their respective entrances. as soon as all of them step past the threshold of no return, they find themselves unable to pass back through the doors they came from. some mysterious force is keeping them at bay.[break][break]

all that remain are three groups with far too many egos: will they be able to come together as a team to take down the titan?[break][break]

• please use the roll function whenever your character does an action against regirock: attack, dodge, etc.
• bulbapedia says regirock is 5'07" or 1.7 m. fuck that. it's about 32'8" or 10 m.
• the chamber is about the size of two football (american) fields and is about 65 feet high or 20 m high.
• you can use three moves max per pokemon per round. you can use as many pokemon as you would like.

NEAR THE ENTRANCE[break][break]

• @logan hurls rocks at the pillars to check for traps. after, his metang uses PSYCHIC to examine the abyss of the pillars. he's with thalia black.
• @vilhelm runs, clearing the first gap. his crobat wraps around him and uses his lower wings to make him lighter in order to clear the abyss.
• thalia black is left on read by FERNANDO SILPH, THAT FUCKER. like player like character. she suggests to @logan that he strengthen the pillars with PSYCHIC instead while calling her flygon out to provide further support for @vilhelm should he slip and fall...

time is of the essence; catch up, for the ruins may not be stable for much longer. those who passed the abyss have to travel down the same path the main group did: through the morelulls, then down into the sacrifice room. by now, the morelulls are no longer active and it should be safe to pass.[break][break]

SACRIFICE ROOM[break][break]

• riley maddox cuts his hand, letting his blood fall onto the spiral design.
• Dallas Rhodes wonders why they didn't spot blood before and is worried about what may lie beyond the doors.
• zeke rainey lightens the air with jokes, moving away from the door.
• leo del río also makes room, exasperated. he senses that everything here is a bad idea.
• Silvia Blackmore watches riley maddox test the blood theory, and decides to place trust in her beautiful bastiodon. the bastiodon tries to ram the door down with IRON DEFENSE and TAKE DOWN and BDE—but she stops the prehistoric pokémon when persephone amavi's lucario obstructs him with a SWORDS DANCE and CLOSE COMBAT.
• persephone amavi chimes in with her interpretation of the braille. she scolds Silvia Blackmore for threatening the structural integrity of the ruins.
• Bailey Cooper prepares her kommo-o for a CLOSE COMBAT in case the blood ritual or the bastiodon TAKE DOWN fails—but she also calls for her dragon to disengage. she tries to bait rocket with that catchy ass jingle.
• DANIEL WALKER injures his arm like a bitch. he checks up on persephone amavi because he's the biggest slut of them all. and then he white knights. god someone kill this guy!!! he tries to resolve the conflict, using his bitch-ass dragonair to SAFEGUARD them from the rising tension. thank you for this description shiv you are perfect even though you a lil bich.
• persephone amavi and Silvia Blackmore continue to bicker. ends with Silvia Blackmore slicing her hand to drip blood into the relicanth thing.

the blood from the fire-type gym leader falls on to the platform. for a moment, the blood splatter remains placid. stagnant; however, as the party falls into conflict and the pokémon batter the doors, the blood starts to move, following the spiral engraving. like a river, the blood traces the whirlpool-like sigil, stalking the relicanth before finally reaching the center. at its center, the blood seeps into the platform as if it were consumed.[break][break]

the platform lights up in a faint blue. suddenly, the massive stone arms and hands that hold the doors back groan coarsely as they move. they pull the massive doors apart…[break][break]

THE LAKE[break][break]

• kim cole-essam is healed by avery avila's lanturn, telling @arlette to leave the fish in the lake to reside over it as king.
• Malcolm Stone's aegislash retrieves @yiannis. he goes to examine the glowing sigils on the door.
• @yiannis stays dry with PROTECT; he's in good spirits.
• Ava Rosewood also reaches the top of the stairs, welcoming FERNANDO SILPH and LILLIAN GLASS. she offers to help anyone who is in need as her pokemon prepare for more.

the sigiled door glows and begins to open...

• @vilhelm signals at the league lady's entrance—and for his rattata to skitter away. the dirty cop chases after his rat and waves back at @hinata.
• @vilhelm's rattata leads them to the abyss, where thalia black is.
• thalia black takes in her surroundings, examining the pillars.

the latecomers are split apart, scrambling to latch onto something. some remain at the entrance, while others venture deeper into the ruins. a group comes across the same obstacle (the abyss) as the others once did. you hear sounds of distress and it becomes clear that you, too, must overcome the obstacles. needing to catch up, you should hurry.[break][break]

THE PENULTIMATE ROOM[break][break]

• Dallas Rhodes bullies zeke rainey. wow pls be nice. he follows Bailey Cooper, keeping his fletchinder out. the ground breaks apart and as he falls, he catches @joey during the descent using his fletchinder to make a safe landing. he notices the door's inscription and bullies zeke rainey again #STOPCYBERBULLYING2018.
• zeke rainey ignores Dallas Rhodes before the fall. after, he admires the pretty relicanth engravings and returns Bailey Cooper's pokeball (morelull) to her.
• riley maddox admires the flames burning the spores away. he falls but pulls Silvia Blackmore close so that s he lands on top of him.
• Silvia Blackmore summons the lycanroc back to her ball. she blushes, embarrassed by riley maddox's save. she checks for injuries and glimpses the suspicious door.
• leo del río recalls blissey and tries to send out his altaria in time. however, he is only able to slow his fall and loses his grip on the cloud dragon. he flashes his light on the braille text.
• avery avila doesn't know shit.
• persephone amavi translates the inscriptions on the door and leaves it up to the group.
• Bailey Cooper looks at her new SHINY morelull wow.
• DANIEL WALKER injures his left arm b/c noods didn;t post.

the floor crumbles as quickly as your teamwork. each of you fall as individuals, though appear to be unharmed by the impact. well, most of you; as DANIEL WALKER lands weirdly and injures his left arm. it takes you a moment, but you soon find yourselves examining the inscription on the door.[break][break]

only one of you is smart enough to read it: persephone amavi. as the riddle is read, a subtle glow emits from below; from the spiral of relicanth engraved on the platform.[break][break]

THE LAKE[break][break]

• FERNANDO SILPH prepares again for the future and has his kirlia exercise FUTURE SIGHT. his ditto rockruff turns into a ditto kecleon, and with the sticky prehensile tongue, he is able to spiderman up the stairs with LILLIAN GLASS.
• Ava Rosewood's pidgey warns the party of the zubats. her rockruff STEALTH ROCKS the party from the cloud of bats with stones, causing several bats to smash into them. next, her pidgey uses TAILWIND to rush the party forward.
• @arlette shields herself from the zubat swarm and the bats bite at her skin as they pass by; her vileplume continues up the stairs while her furfrou is still ahead, defending itself and avery avila's lanturn.
• @andromeda's leg is blasted by the water spout, resulting in a limp. he races up the stairs to catch up to Ava Rosewood. his braviary attacks the incoming zubat in defense.
• kim cole-essam's left arm breaks (and he calls it a sprain, the FOOL!). his volcarona WHIRLWINDS zubats and golbats away as he scales the stairs.
• Malcolm Stone is rescued by his sexy aegislash who then, like a knight in shining armor, IRON HEADS several zubat and golbat into Ava Rosewood's rockruff's STEALTH ROCKS. the shipyard owner is able to understand the sigils on the wailord, announcing their meanings.
• @yiannis takes heed of his nerd husband's discovery. he directs his cloyster to fire SPIKE CANNON in the correct order. at the same time, the wailord aims another WATER SPOUT at @yiannis. from the blow hole, water trembles like a kettle ready to blow. the spikes land and the sigils light up: one, two, three.

the ethereal body of the wailord stops, and with it, the WATER SPOUT. the spirit falls and plunges into the rising water in a fantastic display of spiritual particles. the party is able to breathe as the water stops rising.[break][break]

suddenly, they hear a weird surge of water being pushed below the surface of the deepened lake. then another. and then another. the staircase is slowly disappearing, the wall pushing out in square blocks to destroy the steps. in other words, the staircase is crumbling away from the bottom. [break][break]

• @alexander's gardevoir stops the rocks aimed at him and Vera Lindt with telekinesis, oooh. torterra likely gets hit, but is healed somewhat by leech seed, and then uses giga drain on swampert.
• Vera Lindt's metagross uses iron defense to protect itself and torterra. then uses hammer arm on the swampert.

a cry, a roar, and down it goes. the damage overcomes it as it falls onto the ground, slumping in defeat. megaross’ HAMMER ARM clips a chunk of its fin off. if you attempt to capture it, your pokeball will simply bounce off, unwilling to open. [break][break]

when the dust settles from your battle, the pathway clears: what lies deeper ahead? you’ll find out soon enough as something glows ominously in the distance.
