Cogimo winced together with the stranger, knowing quite well how unpleasant was a hangover. If being honest, his first year in dorms was spent mostly in those. He almost felt sorry for the man, especially after sounding so sad, but...Well, because of him Shimaru had slept only a few hours. And such people can suffer a bit.[break]"Good morning!" He continued petting the skitty, cooing over the pink thing a bit before answering the distressed male, "You, kind of, had one too many yesterday, and as no one knew you or where to leave you my parents decided to take you to our place." Shimaru started slowly packing up his notebooks that were laid out on the table, "Your Milotic escaped the pokeball to guard you, but my mom's Blissey knows how to calm down aggressive pokemons. I brought you here and your Milotic is in our lake." As he finished his explanation all his stuff was in a neat pile, Cogimo now widely smiling at their guest.[break]"So, how about you go and take a shower," he pointed at the bathroom door, " and I will get you some clothes to change in. We are about the same size." With that he got up, starring at the skitty for a moment as if noticing it only now, "Who are you even?"[break]
Cogimo wasn't away for long, picking up some loose shorts and a cotton shirt with a pair of slippers. All that was left on the bed before, him deciding to stay outside so the stranger can have some privacy. When sure that he was decent, the boy came back, nodding approvingly.[break]"Definitely better! No offense, but after carrying you yesterday I felt like apologizing yet again to everyone who had to ever carry my drunk ass back to the dorms." He then motion the boy to follow, seeing if he will follow.[break]"Lets get some food and pain killers in you. Then you can pick up your Milotic. Oh, by the way, the name's Cogimo!"

Cogimo chuckled as he was reminded once again just how important his new friend was. Silph...That name had a lot of pressure on it, right?[break]
Her answer, though, made the boy understand that their opinion on how to best take care of their pokemons differed a lot. The whole trainer business wasn't it, though, with time he has been learning that there were some good aspects to learn from.[break]"The same reason why I have been doing anything this year. I'm confused about what people want from me when they say go become a trainer! Yes, I understand the whole gym part but you need to get to that place. So, I have been catching pokemon...Taking missions...Just doing things we outsiders think trainers do. Even if that wasn't what I came for when starting my studies." He laughed again, almost like mocking himself, just as the boat arrived at their destination, "The best way to make a good impression. Don't worry, I will try my best to not be a bother."[break]
Once they got on land seemed that he had turned back to his cheerful self, releasing Markiz as he talked to Yui.[break]"Alright! What's on the agenda? Asides from survival they didn't give us any other tasks. I doubt it will be easy, this is a TV show, but I guess we should just...Find shelter, explore...Find food, for sure." Cogimo was actually excited about giving the guy a tour. It took half an hour or so to finish up with the tractor, he helped with passing the tools as it seemed that the blue-haired man had disappeared from this world, and then he pulled him by the wrist to the closest berry tree grove. While on their way he talked about how it looked when he was a child, as well as, what has changed over the years.[break]"I still remember my big plan of befriending the guardian pokemons to be able to have a snack whenever I wanted." He laughed at the memory, "I succeeded but got so sick from eating the berries that my mom needed to take me to the town's doctor. This is how I learned self-control...Kind of..." Cogimo's ears would, for sure, turn red if the sun hasn't done that already.[break]
Once there he remembered, though, that he was still holding Rick's wrist in an iron-hard hold, "Sorry, after spending so much time with pokemons one forgets that humans are slightly less durable, heh." The student let go spreading his hands as to present the trees surrounding them. They were in different stages of ripe, different grass pokemon walking back and forth. Whenever one would come closer, Cogimo would pick it up to cuddle, letting it go shortly afterward. "Ehhh, it's nice being home. Where's your pokemon, though? Hope he isn't bored with you working here now. Actually...Do you even live in Rustboro?" Right, they didn't talk much last time.

Cogimo was sitting in one of the guest's rooms, on the chair next to the window. It wasn't anything special, having a double bed, nightstand, writing table, one chair, wardrobe, and a mirror. Everything was in brown and cream colors, a style reminiscent of Galar. His mom had seen it a couple of years ago and got inspired for this room. The window outside oversaw one of the berry tree groves of their property.[break]
On the before mentioned bed lay a man Cogimo's parents picked up last night. Apparently, he was performing at the jazz bar they had decided to have a date at and, afterward, passed out from drinking too much. As no one knew him, his parents decided to take the boy to their home. Unfortunately, once outside his pokemon escaped her ball, becoming quite hostile. Mom calmed it down with her Blissey, but that meant Cogimo needed to leave his bed at 3 AM to get the drunk musician to their place. The boy's parents dealt with moving his pokemon.[break]
After all that drama the youngest Shimaru slept for, exactly, five hours before his inner clock woke him up. Later, Cogimo's mom asked to pay attention when their guest woke up, so he wouldn't be all scared and confused. Cogimo decided that there's no escape for that, but he also came to conclude that it would be for the best if he just waited in the guest room as well. He had some homework to do anyway and a skitty in his lap, so it wasn't so bad.

Without saying anything Cogimo rushed to the tunnel the mother had pointed at, Kirilla hot on his path. There wasn't much time to waste as no one had any ideas who could be blamed for kidnapping the boy. The student knew few pokemon that did that but none of them were really of underground type. Maybe it was something that just wandered in here and made its home here? Or, maybe, it wasn't a pokemon at all? It was chilling just to think of what then could have taken the kid.[break]
At first, the tunnel seemed like any other in these underground mazes but as they moved on the light was getting dimmer, some of the built-in light fixtures broken, and then both were faced with complete darkness. Cogimo turned on the flashlight on his hard-hat, facing the other trainer with a nervous smile. "Hope you aren't afraid of the dark."[break]
Two things suddenly hit him. One, he wasn't sure that the guy next to him was one of the hired trainers for security and, second, he looked quite young. Almost like a kid young, that saying something as most people still thought of Cogimo as a child.[break]"I know this is a random moment to ask this, but...Should you even be here?"

This was the first time young Shimaru traveled to Mt. Chimney, but he, for sure, had a "blast"(Get it? Blast. As in, volcano and...Never mind...). Jokes aside, he did enjoy the visit as the place had a nice view, was perfect for pictures to post, and provided some very good skincare products. Yes, he may have spent a bit too much time ridding his tauros, and now the boy's ass hurt, but he has had worse for less. Asides from the ox pokemon Cogimo also took Sunwo with him. The pokemon recently went through quite a growth spurt, slightly terrifying his poor trainer, and if Cogimo thought the infernape was clingy when being a chimchar then now he didn't know how to detach the pokemon from him. Such, the boy took him along in this task in hopes that the pokemon will calm down or, at least, he will get to learn a bit more about the fiery fighting type pokemon.[break]
The task, to be honest, was quite easy. Pick up a bunch of fire stones from the mining facility and return them to Slateport. His mom had acquired this task and passed it down to her son. Now, the problem, though, was that at some point something small and on fire had pickpocketed him and flew in tall grass. Of course, the boy ran after the pokemon but ended up only running over that was crouching there.[break]"Oh my, sorry! I was just running...Did you see anything small passing by with a brown pouch? I think I got pickpocketed." Soon Sunwo also caught up, seeming almost as distressed as his trainer.

Rusturf Tunnels were one of the few places Cogimo haven't visited as one living in Rustboro should. It wasn't, like, he didn't want to, but no parent really liked the idea of their child wandering around dark tunnels full of dangerous pokemon. It was, probably, for the best, knowing that in one of those rare times he was here the boy ended up coming back with a pokemon. A stationary pokemon, but still. Today, though, he didn't come for pokemon, or even exploring, but to make sure that everyone is safe in the digging craze.[break]
He was paid for five days of guard duty, the first four being uneventful. The boy spent most of his time being bored, patrolling one of the excavation sites, and bonding with Kirilla which he had taken with himself. The girl was only recently caught, seemingly shy even if she did obey the trainer's orders. Cogimo's mom said she would warm up to him in time, but, compared to other pokemon he had caught around the same time, they seemed to warm up to him much faster.[break]
The youngest Shimaru was feeding some snacks to the boldore when a concerned mother came to him, asking for help. He had seen them before, both mother and 5 years old son coming here for some bonding time. They even had chatted a bit while the kid was trying to make friends with Kirilla. The lady quickly explained that everything was fine one moment but then something reached out from the darkness and grabbed her boy. After finding which tunnel it was Shimaru turned to the closest trainer that had been on guard duty with him.[break]"Hey! Can you, please, come with me? Kirilla here knows how to maneuver in the underground, but I rather have someone else with thumbs as well."
