Cogimo is 20 years old university student at Slateport University where he's studying pokemon caretaking. The boy is an only child, his parents owning a farm for rescued pokemon near Rustboro city. Because of that, he had spent his whole life in close contact with hundreds of pokemon, big and small. His morelull, ferroseed, and cottonee are children from a couple of these rescues, while the boy's aegislash was something his mother saved when she was still a young girl, the pokemon later becoming the boy's personal guardian once he was born.[break][break]

This is Cogimo's second year in university, where they have been told that to pass it they have to become temporary trainers and acquire some experience, as well as, try to get few badges. While he understands the necessity for that the boy also didn't expect it, promising a year full of surprises.[break][break]
