It was then the student's brain decided that it will overpower Cogimo's rational thinking and be amazed by the firm muscles under his palms. He squeezed, becoming mortified almost instantly. With a rush, the boy let the other go, trying to come up with something good to say. As one imagined, it didn't go as intended, "This isn't a real gym, right?"

The boy gasped in awe seeing the white cloud pokemon. The chatot was cute too, but he had enough of them at his own house while the alteria was something definitely rare. They had one good 10 years ago before it just disappeared. He now was thinking of asking mom what happened to it. Though, as Cogimo watched the two flying pokemons take off shame filled his whole being. Right...His contribution.[break]"Umm...Not...Really. I don't have that many pokemon, so I took those that I wouldn't need to straight out carry." Was it a jab at Boink? Maybe, but what he doesn't know, doesn't hurt him.[break]"As I mentioned before...I took this quite lightly. But, hey, I at least have an alarm system in case something comes near us." With that said he released Kirilla, the boldore's crystals gleaming in the mid-day sun. "This is Kirilla. She picks up her surrounding from sound and vibration, making her crystals blink when she feels something approaching. We came up with this system while working at Rustboro tunnels as guards." Cogimo would almost wish that his mother was here now, or, maybe, father, cause he for sure wasn't good at dealing with troubled humans. Pokemon, yes. Give him a houndoom with anger issues and mistrust towards people any day(please, don't!), but put the student in front of someone that was feeling down and the only thing he will be able to offer is a hug. Maybe a cuddle session. Then again, his parents are the people he inherited these traits, so Cogimo wasn't sure if they would be any better.

Should Cogimo tell him that he already figured the milotic's name? Maybe, but that wouldn't be too polite towards their guest. And the boy's mother would murder him if he was anything but the gracious host. So he said nothing, just smiled as Everett introduced himself, as well as, the small eevee a moment later. Honestly, Shimaru was quite glad to see their small fight for dominance as it showed he wasn't the only one with escaping pokemon issue. Or being weak to cute eyes, in that matter. "Shall we?"[break]
They went down to the first floor, the house being in warm, earthly tones with a high ceiling and big windows. Each room they passed seemed to be made in a different style and, even if most were in brown, green, and pastel colors, nothing seemed organized or united. The kitchen was an old, odd thing. Large, with an inbuilt table in the middle, it seemed to be meant for serving dozens of people, not three. Walls were a mix of brick and white tiles, painted with blue flowers, while the floor was cobblestone. There was a brand new kitchen appliance, as well as, things reminding of the early 20th century. On the table was cut sandwich ingredients, like tomato, salad, pickles, and ham, round buns, butter, and a plate covered with glass lid, steaming hot eggs waiting to be eaten. There was also a pack of painkillers waiting."Sit down, take a plate, eat. Do you want orange juice, tomato juice or, maybe, tea...Mmmm...Coffee? I don't like coffee after hangovers, but, maybe, you do."[break]
Given the answer, he prepared their drinks, as well as, opened a storage room to get a bowl, showing that the shelves were full of pokemon food one usually found in pokemon clinics. "Should I...?" Cogimo then nodded to the eevee, food, and the bowl. Done with that he finally sat down himself, picking this and that for his sandwich.[break]"So, are you suing us for kidnapping, hmm?" The boy chuckled, carefully layering butter after cutting his bun in half. "Can't say I have seen you in Rustboro, but also I have been away myself for few months. Local? Visiting?"

Cogimo's eyes widened in surprise, seeing the tall and elegant pokemon leave the underbrush. They sniffed the air, curiosity in their eyes, slowly getting closer to the boy. He, on the other hand, stared in marvel, whispering to himself, "Holy shit, this worked!"[break]
What he didn't expect, though, was one of his pokeballs to open up, the white light forming into Bambi, the buneary. It was then Shimaru noticed how alike both pokemon were, it dawning that they may have been from the same evolutionary line. "Oh..."[break]
Both pokemon played with each other for a while, Cogimo peacefully watching them, before the Lopunny bounced off to do something else. Bambi came back to the trainer, demanding affection.

As they walked around Cogimo was slowly taking in just how big was the place, as well as, how plants dominated everything. Here and there the boy could spot a pokemon or two, the place looking less and less of something a man had made. Even Bambi, the shy bun, was slowly sniffing around, making sounds of interest. "I must say, this place is quite nice. You have done a good job!" The little pokemon in his hands made a agreeing noise, same went for Whimsy who was chilling on top of Blondie. Hmmm, maybe Cogimo should finally ask what's the guy's name? Nah, too late for that.[break]"I can take that fluffy player from you whenever. Just saying."[break]
And then he stopped talking, seeing Dementi sleeping on top of a Arbok's head. Of course the little monster slept peacefully with an Arbok. Though...He shouldn't be so judgmental towards Arboks. Cogimo saw the Vileplum but didn't pay much attention to the grass pokemon. The Buenary noticed, though, and not being able to hold her fright she hopped out of the trainer's arms and off deeper in the gym. Cogimo started pouted, a low whimper escaping with it, "But I just...Found one." With the same pout he then turned to face the other male again, "I promise I'm a...Decent trainer...Kind of..."

"Sadistic little mushrooms, but yes." Cogimo rubbed his face in frustration. He could get lucky and Demini could get eaten by one of the bug pokemons around here but that would just prove that Cogimo isn't ready to take care of any pokemon...And he didn't want that.[break]"She would either look for someone sleeping or...Fighting, maybe? She enjoys fights." The student decided to opt-out of mentioning that she also enjoys screams of fear.[break]
It was then that he saw the most cutest sight of Falinks trying to be sneaky and get to his fanny pack for pokemon treats. Once stacked, Cogimo put his hand on top of the leader's head, meeting him at eye level, and having a stare-off. This lasted for a moment before the pokemon blinked and Shimaru smiled, pulling out one treat for each of the little buggers, "Scram. I have met smoother Grimers than you."[break]
He exhaled before an imaginary light bulb manifested over his head, him pulling out one of his pokeballs and releasing a buneary, Bambi, out of it. The little thing was quite shy, hopping in Cogimo's arms after seeing the big blond man scarry man.[break]"Hey beautiful! Can you sniff out our demonshroom? It wandered off again." Bambi just pressed her face deeper in his shirt. "Was worth a try."

The phone...Was a pokemon...At least it seemed like that. It wasn't the strangest thing he has seen, Markiz was a flying sword for Pete's sake, but the speaking part did make him feel odd. Not bad, but not fully comfortable as well.[break]"Hi...Why did you allow Whimsy to sneak you in his cotton?" That was a good question, he could have taken the damm thing with him![break]
He then, though, was distracted by the blond guy again as he explained that Shimaru was unfortunate enough to disturb him on a day off.[break]"Well, if it's a day off I really shouldn't..." And then it hit him what this gym leader said. "Two?" Cogimo looked where the morelull should have been. Nothing.[break]"Markiz...Where's Demini?" The sword turned 360 degrees before just shrugging. "Fuck." Shimaru faced the blond dude, "My Morelull has wandered off somewhere...Fuck...Can you, please, show me around...And help to look for her." This wasn't his day for sure.

Cogimo wasn't really someone who would spend a uselessly large amount of money on something that seemed to be just a gimmick. That is, till today, when he got this new thing called incense. Yes, the boy knew what incenses were or that they weren't anything new but this one supposed to lure the specific type of pokemon. Well, he was here, in Mauville hills, but it didn't seem that anything was really happening. The thing didn't really smell of anything and the boy was getting bored just standing there, waiting.
