She was trying her best to emulate kyle, she didn't want hoenn to become a place full of fear and doubt thanks to his passing. She needed to become the new pillar of strength for the league.[break][break]

Melody smiled at their small sweet moment they shared. it then quickly turned to a frown when an uninvited guest appeared amongst their midst. [break][break]

She raises an annoyed eyebrow at the man "Oh really? I thought all you guys did was suddenly appear, talk shit, then vanish when we defy whatever the fuck you ask/say/do." [break][break]

And to no one's surprise, he had friends, fun house mirror versions of themselves. Melody's counter part with Cobalion seemed to be different. Stubborn, as if she had an unshakeable will of her own, no one could influence her. She even had Melody's rapier. [break][break]

Without a word the doppel lunges forward at their respective counter part and immediately begin to battle. Melody was matching step per step with her doppel but a strange thing started to occur, Melody could create copies of her sword and seemingly control them, firing the copies like missiles. [break][break]

She was on the back foot the entire time and continue to fight defensively . "All form, no function." she taunted. Melody gritted her teeth as Kyle asked them if they're going to brute force "We win together, Cobalion!" she says as she points to the virizion, "Hold her down!" as she tries to give MATIAS SILPH more action economy. [break][break]

Cobalion obeys, using his paralyzing gaze (Thunder wave) to stun the virizion and cripple her movements.

Melody had been trying to push her way through the glass to reach her pokemon. If she could get one of them out they might be able to do something in the real world to free them. But it wasn't working. [break][break]

Upon this realization Melody starts to despair again. "PLEASE" she begged them wondering if they could even hear her. "Wake up! We need you! We cant do this!" she says before she pauses. [break][break]

"I cant do this...without you guys.." as tears start to well up in her eyes. Melody slides down against the glass and sob to herself as she thinks out loud. "What do I do? I can't help anyone like this.."

The silence between Melody and Amor was long and drawn out.. She remained silent, trying to feel for something, anything. Was Cobalion gone? Every emotion she sent to him was met with eerie silence. "I cant feel anything from Cobalion...did they get him? Did they turn him into a slave?" she said praying that she was wrong. [break][break]

She was so lost in thought she hadn't realized at first that he had offered her the bed in the room. He states it was cause he did not want to clean her corpse but that didn't exactly feel like him for some reason. "Thank you. Amor." the kindness he showed her here would not be forgotten. She took the spot in the bed and wrapped herself in the only comfort that been provided to her in this hellscape. [break][break]

"We can't do anything without our pokemon..I can't do anything." she says as her despair continued to make her lose hope. She tried her best to fight back against it but...she couldn't even sing to lift her spirits. The guards made her fearful that she'd be squished the very moment she disturbed the status quo of this place.[break][break]

It was then that her eyes began to feel extremely heavy that the scene started to shift. She felt "awake" in this space, she wanders the city and eventually happens upon a peculiar daycare. Her eyes widen in horror, Her pokemon were struck in glass displays. "PRIMARINA, MELOETTA, ORICORIO!!" she says as she rushes up to the glass and slams on it with her fists. She looks around to try and break through the glass to reach them. [break][break]

"PLEASE WAKE UP, I NEED YOU" she begs as the glass did not give way at all as tears well up in her eyes. It was then that a familiar friend find- well. Hears her scream. (Hideo Kino)

It was a difficult time for her to say the least. [break][break]

kyle lopez had left her big shoes to suddenly fill. One moment she's trying to save MATIAS SILPH from the very creature she warned him about and the next thing she knows Kyle's the one who dies for it. It was bullshit, all of it. [break][break]

She should be happy right? She sat on the very throne she had yearned for countless sleepless nights but what did that matter when it's foundations wasn't made by her actions but rather the decisions of those around her? [break][break]

She stared at the last name outside of the building she was going to walk into. "Silph." she reads to herself as her zorua's illusions obscured her face. When she enters the building she withdraws the pokemon, dispelling the illusion and releasing her corsola instead. She walked up to the front desk staff "I have an appointment with fernando. We need to discuss my recent gym inspections and other matters with him." [break][break]

The front staff was stunned by her sudden presence, the Diva's attire left her stunned and Melody found herself feeling impatient. "Please call him?" it was enough of a prompt to ruin the person's stare studded gaze.

"Gardevoir, follow dragapult's rhythm" she orders as the gardevoir TRACES the dragapult's ability while it unleashes a nasty INFESTATION upon the dragon that was guarding her princess. The princess watches and bides her time for some reason as it doesn't exactly react at first upon the bugs that now crawled around it's scaly exterior. [break][break]

Noivern tries to swat the bugs off of it but for each heap of insectides that it brushes off more sprout up from the ground "Why the bugs?" she frowns as they plopped into the water with each swat. She knew with time they'd dissipate but it sent shivers down her spine, she quickly resumed playing as she couldn't let it interrupt her performance. "Dancer, Aria." As the ice beam flies out towards Noivern, gardevoir intervenes as the psychic type suddenly leaps in front of the creature creating a dazzling display of MYSTICAL FIRE that collides with the ice beam. [break][break]

The gardevoir's intervention bought enough time for Melody to act out her plan, she knew better than to use a dragon type against Hoenn's local dragon expert. That's exactly why it was no longer going to be a dragon type. Melody whips out a tera orb and quickly gathers the light in the area into the ball and threw it to her dragon. The tera crystals erupt from the ground in a dazzling display before shattering and revealing noivern with a new tint of color as Melody TERASTALIZED NOIVERN TO NORMAL TYPE She chuckles to herself, "Cmon now Freya, did you think I'd really use a dragon type against you?" [break][break]

"Noivern, Ballad." she orders as Noivern suddenly unleashes an unholy SCREECH before rushing in, having located Freya's pokemon via SCREECH it rushes past the dragapult and tries to latch onto goodra with it's fangs to bite down.

She sends out two Pokémon who commonly worked in tandem with one another. Her gardevoir named dancer and her noivern named airpod. "First move is yours Freya, hope you got what it takes to impress me."

As she watches people get chained to the floor, she finds herself also being restricted in her movement. Shit, this was bad. Normally she'd be able to move more adeptly but with this chain holding her down she'd have a harder time. Was this hell? Was this punishment she really deserved? Every inch of her wanted to scream out in pain and aguish from all this torture in a hopes that it'd end but she knew it wasn't going to be that easy. [break][break]

However she needed to set an example for herself and others [break][break]

She managed to dodge the strange creature's attacks at first, dancing her way around it but suddenly the chain tugs on her even tighter and pulls her back as the green figure in the darkness managed to get a hit in on her. She yelped in pain as she's knocked across the floor, skidding over mochi and body parts as Melody throws up from how grotesque her situation was and her injury. [break][break]

As soon as it lands a hit on her, it seems to move onto someone else and she hurries, trying to scoop up as much mochi as possible and placing it into the bowl. She stays near Amor Rose "This all seems so weird, something isn't right. What's the point of this, wouldn't they prefer us being mindless slaves to that mochi?" [break][break]

"Why go through the trouble of breaking out spirits if they can just override them with that mochi.." she whispers to him, unless there was a contingency to the mochi working.

Her room was extremely opposite of what one would expect from Melody's room to actually look like. Her career was based off of her vast and varied musical styles, her eccentric music videos, her ability to do a wide variety of genres. However, the eccentric diva's room were 4 sets of reflective waterfalls and white tiled floors. With a single white baby grand piano off towards the door. [break][break]

She walks forward in a simple white dress, her iconic pink hair tied up into it's signature ponytail to contain the sheer amount of hair on her head. "Greyson Connors, it's not every day I get a fellow elite 4 member visiting my chambers." she responds as she moves on to talk about the room. [break][break]

"yeah, some would think it doesn't really fit me but honestly they don't really know the real Melody." she says as she was sure he was part of the group of people who'd never understand her. Or would he? Only the upcoming battle would be able to reveal more of themselves to each other[break][break]

"You ready to get started?" she asks as she holds a pokeball in her hand "Are we going all out?"

The room was incredibly dark, her performance was about to begin as the audience found their "seats" in her chamber. [break][break]

A single spotlight turns on over Melody's piano as she begins to silently play music as Freya approaches her. The dratini would find just enough light to be able to spot a nearby pool of water to enjoy [break][break]

As Freya gets close enough, Melody's voice would ring out as she continues to play "You've made it far in your journey Freya, how do you feel about it so far?" she asks her as Melody seemed very calm and indifferent at the moment as if she was just having a regular conversation at the moment.
