Stacy had come down to one of the smaller routes to find some berries for her pokemon, they enjoyed the simpler ones that grew down here so she'd come down for them. Though she only had a brief idea of where they were, she wasn't taking the Route everyone else did. As most trainers would have already taken the ones from the trees near the roads, so she was making her way through the back parts. Sometimes using the trees to get around other times the grounds, she got some scraps and cuts her and there due to her chosen Ranger attire.

But that didn't bother her, as she knew that there was little worry for troublesome plants down here. It was mostly dry foliage that would just scrap against her skin that she'd end up just fixing up later, her legs healed fairly well as they were used to such efforts. It was around mid morning, that she decided to make this trek off of Oldale. Her expertise was more back in Oblivia but she'd been getting used to Hoenn, and since she was stuck here she'd need more experience in the wilds of this region.

Stacy spotted a tree that wasn't picked clean by random trainers or pokemon, a short distance away from her. Stacy took to the trees and started moving across towards her destination, hoping to get there before someone or something else decided to take the berries from her.

Ranger Stacy had taken a call about flocks of Swablu and its evolution Altaria, having trouble because of the dome that had come down over Hoenn. Something she herself had been quite bummed about when she found out, as she didn't want to only be stuck here though she wasn't expecting to leave any time soon. As help was needed but being able to go home and visit family was something she did like having on the table rather not, regardless, she had arrived at the designated location. Noting that she was far from the only one herding the fluffy bird like pokemon, who were all in quite the fluster with what was happening.

In some places Stacy could see what looked like snow fall, patches of clouds falling from the sky. Which would look beautiful to those that didn't realize that Swablue and Altaria's feathers were those clouds, so it wasn't all natural beauty but also freaking out on the wingtips of these unfortunate pokemon. Stacy let out her Butterfree, the only pokemon she had that could fly. And while her Slowking could float and her Cinderace could jump, it was best to use flight here to maintain some degree of control. Stacy just hoped, that the Altaria's wouldn't attempt to eat her Butterfree as it was likely something they may hunt normally.

Stacy finds a big rock jutting out of the ground and climbing to the top of it so she can see better as her Butterfree flew up closer to the group of pokemon, once close enough to the pokemon. "Use Quiver Dance to get their attention and round them back together" orders Stacy and Butterfree starts to call out to the flock. Flickering back and forth in a wide area to get the Swablu and Altaria's attention who started coming back together as a group as they avoid the Butterfree's Quiver Dance, while it's not a damage inducing move. It still makes them think twice about colliding with bug, also the beautiful nature of Quiver Dance also seems to keep them entranced by the Butterfree.

A mountain trek

As the trio made their way up, over and around the various mountainous areas of this route, they came to a flatter area that was like a little plateau. What she didn't expect to see though, was something that looked like a makeshift training area. Stacy guess it was for sports, as it had those little cone things she'd seen before and something that resembled a goal. But what amazed her more was the pokemon that was present, a Cinderace playing with a rock like she was juggling a soccer ball.

She couldn't believe her luck, Stacy had heard amazing things about these pokemon. It's natural agility would work great for her team, sadly her styler was still in the shop but she still had poke balls. So she stepped up and motioned for Slowking to step forward "Use Water Pulse" declared Stacy and Slowking complied, letting out the ringed attack towards the Cinderace who'd only just noticed their presence.

The pokemon looked as if they wanted to dodge but despite its speed, the pokemon was sideswiped by the move sending into a slight tailspin. Thankfully the Cinderace was tough and was attempting to get up though it did look dazed, Stacy guessed that the secondary effect of Water Pulse might be happening so she seized the opportunity. Throwing a pokeball at the pokemon, hoping to get herself a new partner to run around with.

A mountain trek

Stacy was in her Ranger Leo, knee highs and boots though they weren't in the usual Ranger colours but she'd been given permission to go with her own colours. As long as she wore one of the known Ranger uniforms, she walked along the path that was the mountain side close to Lavaridge town. Stacy hadn't quite traversed this region completely and was currently doing a little surveying here and there, nothing official though and was mostly working to her own beat.

He Butterfree was flying a distance above her while her Slowking was walking beside her, though a Ranger Stacy did have poke balls for her pokemon but preferred keeping them out as much as possible. Usually only putting them back in during rest or emergency situations, right now though, it was a simple walk with a little getting to know the lay of the land. Something she was used to doing as was her pokemon, they knew Stacy liked to be certain of her surroundings and checking around beforehand meant she had ideas of trouble spots and other useful things.

Jumping up a couple of oddly positioned rocks, which allowed her to get higher up. Her Slowking used his psychic powers to follow her to the higher areas while her Butterfree simply sailed along the winds above, none of them having any trouble as Stacy was agile like a gymnast and used to climbing natural surfaces.

Stacy was born in Oblivia where the Ranger Union is the one that looks after the pokemon as well as the people, a kind of allied wild nations with only so much in the line of population. Her life was quite free and fun as she ran around with both captured and wild pokemon, like it was nothing strange to do. She looked up to the Rangers and joined their school as early as she could, Stacy did well in this school once there and spent time in her home Oblivia as well as other nearby islands.

During some of her Ranger work, Stacy found a wounded Slowpoke that looked unusual to her. Reports had stated that there were poachers making their way through the area, and Stacy believed this pokemon was one of theirs. As she hadn't seen a Slowpoke like this one, taking the pokemon in and taking care of it. The Slowpoke eventually got better and became a partner to her, as it didn't want to leave her. Over time staying with Stacy alongside the other pokemon she had, which was her Butterfree who would often sit on top of the Slowpoke just for fun.

As they continued doing their work in the wilds, Slowpoke found a strange collection of plants and evolved into a Slowking which to Stacy was equally as strange looking as its base form. From that point on, Slowking became an even better memeber of Stacy's team but then things came over the wire. About the trouble in Hoenn, many Rangers including Stacy decided to make her way over to Hoenn.
